About: I am need of full time employment and have been pet sitting for friends and family for over ten years now. I absolutely love dogs and spending time with them because their love is unconditional. I grew up helping take care of my family's dog for about fourteen years and then helped raise a puppy who is turning ten in October. I enjoy being around dogs and playing with them so I feel like this is going to be the right gig for me. I am very positive and outgoing and love spending time outside. I'm currently unemployed and hoping to pick up as many gigs as I can to get a new routine started as I settled in a new location. I adjust based on the animal's needs. Some dogs I've watched have been incredibly more active and needing of attention than others, as well as cats. It's all about hearing what the owner needs for their pets while they're away to ease any anxiety they have of leaving them.

About: Experienced with puppies to senior dogs. Love long walks and playing catch. Reliable, caring, and attentive to special diets and routines for happy, healthy pets. I’m a teacher with extra free time this summer and would love to spend it with your pup! Walking is my favorite stress relief, and since I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I’m looking for some quality dog time. I’m available to walk your dog up to three times a day—or more if you'd like! I can also stay awhile to feed and pet your pup. Your dog will be in caring, dependable hands—and I’ll treat them like family. I try to keep things as normal and comfortable as possible for your pet. I follow your routine—feeding, walks, playtime, whatever they’re used to—so they feel safe and happy. I give lots of love, attention, and belly rubs, and make sure they get the care and company they need while you're away.

“First walk with Katie and a very active and shy Lagotto! She did awesome. I love how she tried to work with him and his leash needs and practiced discernment around other dogs. Caper came back smiling and she now napping. Couldn’t ask for more and I look forward to establishing a consistent relationship with her”

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs and cats. I can do any special instructions you may have for your sweet animals! I will take care of them just like my own! I am currently a stay at home mom which allows my availability to be very opened to fit any situation that may occur at anytime. I do have a toddler and he has to come with me! I take care of your animals just like my own. I will follow and listen to all your directions to make sure your fur babies are happy!

About: Howdy! My name is Grey, and i want to snuggle your dog! Once upon a time, as an aging single male with no children employed at a plant, a coworker asked me if I would mind watching her dog for a night while she left town. I obliged and from that grew several clients from my workplace, and friends told friends, dogs told dogs, and i was never in my own bed for months watching other peoples' dogs and homes. My reviews are real and recent and if dogs could write as well as they speak, they would echo the same. I'm extremely interactive with your Pooch, but I'M NOTHING SPECIAL. I do specifically what im told regarding pets, household duties, errands AND NOTHING MORE OR LESS unless circumstances absolutely called for it. Excessive dog walks? NO PROBLEM! Plant watering and mail? LEMME DO THAT! Receiving 18 Amazon packages daily that you don't want on your front porch? Perfect, I don't want them on your porch either! My goals for your booking are: 1) Total peace of mind for pet parents upon departure. 2. 100% wagalicious excitement OR cuddlicious tranquility for pet during the trip. 3) A clean and choreless home with happy pets upon arrival. I'm ultra reasonable and can work with people on pricing depending on specific scenarios BUT I am not a miracle worker nor am I a dog whisperer. I throw balls, take long walks, verbally stimulate, feed and water your furbabies. Sometimes, i let them kiss my mouth (once per day, per dog). I take them to parks. I take them on hikes. I do not train them to any extent. SO, if they are destructive with the owner around, they will be 10x as destructive with me around. If they pee in the house, they are going to pee in 10x as much Square footage with me around vs the actual owner. I'm not Cesar Milan....I'm YOU for a week. Please respond with some contact info, interested dates and maybe anything ultra specific needed during your excursion. I'm a solid sitter, but there is only one of me, so let's book soon! Any medical professionals specializing in male pattern baldness, TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE, please:) I do this full time, however, I'm newer to the area and I'm now discovering some of the challenges it provides, mostly that my average commute between jobs and home is over 1 hour. Ideally, i leave your house 1-2 times per day for no more than 4-5 hours. I do this with your dog's daily routine in mind, and am with them at whatever specific times needed for wake up, feedings etc. I use this time to handle other dogs, do my own errands or just a general break from sitting in the same place for 24 hours. These are obviously just guidelines and they can be altered to suit you and puppykins, and whatever is decided between us is adhered to responsibly every time. I love all dogs and 99% of cats and 95% of people. So much love to give.... I have ALWAYS, well before signing up for this app, cleaned client homes before client returns home. While not a professional, my goal is to always leave property in the same condition or better than I found it, mostly successfully. DON'T LET MY DEMOGRAPHIC FOOL YOU!!! I'm tidy and domesticated and I treat people's space and belongings with the highest level of care. I act as if there is a camera on me at work and in my personal life (and there likely is!). Pets are never unattended except for when I use restroom or quick necessity while tending to other matters of the home. Any and all protocols discussed are strictly adhered to. I take this very seriously. I watch a lot of Judge Judy and Judge Joe Brown helped raise me. I handle people's homes and pets in accordance with their exacting standards towards pet handlers and caretakers

About: I have been around all types of animals and pets my whole life. I don't mind taking care of any type of pet you may have from babys to seniors, cats of all breeds and dogs of all breeds and sizes. I’m also good with taking care of other domestic pets, exotic pets and farm animals. I only work part time so I have a lot of extra time to care for animals and enjoy being outdoors walking, biking and hiking. I can also just enjoy sitting on the porch with a cat in my lap and a dog at my feet. I have a fully fenced in yard for dogs to run and play in. We have a back deck that can be closed off for playtime. Inside we have room for play and crate time if needed. My house is open and available for fur babies to relax, run, play and have pet beds for sunbathing or relaxing.

About: I have been a professional animal sitter for the past 15 years in Brevard NC and we've pretty much seen it all. I have a passion for animals and I have wonderful references. Some of my clients have been with me for all 15 of those years. I have sat for homes with cats, birds, dogs, rodents, reptiles, horses, goats, and chickens. I have one large sweet golden retriever who can stay with my brother on his farm if it is an issue for your pet(s). My husband and I work as a team to ensure all goes smoothly. Come meet us or give us a call to set up an interview and see why people come back! Hope to hear from you, Betsy Watson

“Raining. Walk went well. Dog pulls constantly. Must find Halty collar. Louise did everything she needed to do. Very good experience. Recommend completely but get dogwalker to stay for more than 30 minutes.”

“Maria met and exceeded expectations across-the-board and was a consummate professional. At no time did I ever feel anything other than complete confidence in the level of care she was providing my animals in my absence. I hope to be able to have her take care of my pets in the future and I highly recommend her without reservation for any pet sitting or pet care needs.”

About: I am currently a coveted, 5-star petsitter and housesitter through TrustedHouseSitters with 22 sits completed (and counting!) in just 7 months on the site. For over 6 years, I have been caring for pets and homes of colleagues, friends, and family. Throughout my journeys, I have made sweet and affirming connections with numerous dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, and the occasional bird, pig, chinchilla, and chicken. My petsitting responsibilities have included refilling and cleaning food and water bowls, scooping litter multiple times a day, taking dogs out for walks, engaging in nourishingly active play, and — of course — supplying snuggles, scratches, and belly rubs galore! I also have experience administering medication & shots to dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens, and have cared for senior dogs and cats as well. I have 6 years of experience housesitting. My housesitting responsibilities have included wiping down the counters, sweeping, vacuuming, washing dishes, cleaning the stove and burners, and disposing of trash/compost/recycling. My first priority is always the pets and homes I care for. I arrange my schedule according to your pets and homes in order to honor each of their specific needs at any given time, as I have a very flexible, part-time, remote job. I'm also a big homebody and am always delighted to curl up with your pets while reading, writing, or enjoying a nice cup of tea! I am a strong communicator who asks detailed questions to ensure that your pets and homes receive the care that they need. I am proactive in my care to ensure that you may go about your travels with ease. I follow all house rules and respect your home boundaries. Ultimately, I am a true lover of animals at heart who will provide tender care for your furry companions!

About: Hi! I love animals and have always had them throughout my life, ranging in size from rodents to horses. As a doting pet owner, I understand the importance of knowing your pet is in good hands and well cared for and just how important updates can be when you are away. I am open to working with your schedule and learning anything particular that you and your pet may need. My services include walking, running, playing, feeding, administering medicines, or even bathing and brushing your pet. Just let me know any particulars in our meet and greet! About: Hi!! I’m Sky, an adventure seeker, an outdoors enthusiast and the most passionate dog person this side of the Mississippi 😆 I’m new to the area and settling into my new home. I have the PERFECT set up at home for pets (giant fenced-in yard, access to many hiking trails/dog parks, etc.) More importantly, I am extremely passionate about animals and giving them the love they deserve. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have always been called on to dog sit for family & friends. Your pet will be safe, snuggled, and loved in my care! I typically have 3-4 days off in a row, every week. This makes it easy for me to give your pet the attention he/she deserves. My average work day is 6-8 hours, so if pet setting falls on a work day for me, this is the longest stretch of time your pet would be without care. I have no other pets (yet) 😆. So your dog will get my undivided attention! My home offers a large yard, many dog walking opportunities in the area, pet-friendly furniture, and an indoor camera for the kennel or dog room, so you and I can keep an eye on your dog while I’m away at work!

Grey W.Star Sitter
“Grey is absolutely fabulous! My family has an anxious, high-needs dog. He does not do well with dog boarding facilities. Grey has watched our dog for us when we go out of town, and he’s great. Our dog got lots of attention and love. Grey is very thorough, conscientious, and attentive. Oh dog was relaxed, happy, and well taken care of the entire time. Grey also communicated regularly with us with daily status updates. When arrived home, our house looked better and cleaner than when we left. Grey is now our regular go-to dog sitter. Highly recommended!”

Kalie P.
“We were away for 10 days when our original in-home sitter had to cancel last minute, and Kalie was a total lifesaver. She stepped in quickly and took amazing care of our two pitties and our sweet kitty. One of our dogs needs a weekly injection for allergies, and Kalie handled it confidently and with no fuss. When our other pup wasn’t acting right, she checked in with us and then took him to the emergency vet without hesitation. We were so grateful she was paying such close attention. She kept us updated throughout the trip, and during our FaceTime check-ins, it was clear our crew was calm, happy, and totally comfortable with her. It gave us so much peace of mind to know they were in such capable and caring hands. As an added bonus, Kalie left our house cleaner than when she arrived, which was a wonderful surprise after a long day of travel. She truly loves animals, and it shows in everything she does. We appreciate her more than we can say and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and dependable pet sitter.”

Skylar T.
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Absolutely Wonderful Dog Sitter! I cannot say enough great things about the amazing care our dog, Chance, received! From the moment we dropped him off, it was clear that he was in the best hands. She was incredibly kind, responsible, and truly treated Chance like one of her own. She kept us updated with adorable photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Chance came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. It’s obvious she has a natural connection with animals and goes above and beyond to make them feel safe and comfortable. I would 100% trust her to watch Chance again in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for someone who is reliable, compassionate, and truly fabulous, look no further. She’s the best!”

Hannah B.

“Hannah was prompt, pleasant, and our dog loved being with her. I would highly recommend her.”

“Kristin is one of very few people I would absolutely trust any of my pets with. She recently stayed with my ancient dog with multiple problems- including mobility issues and needing seizure meds (AND took care of my three cats, one of whom also takes seizure meds twice a day). Kristin didn't hesitate to provide her services, and the animals all loved her. She is so patient and gentle with them- truly wonderful!”
