About: First and foremost, I absolutely adore animals! Even as a kid, I would only accompany my mother to visit her friends, who had dogs or cats in their home. I appreciate, respect, and can relate to the bond humans have with their pets. They are very much family and there's nothing more satisfying than seeing your fur baby comfortable, relaxed, and content, in our home or yours, while you're away. We only board 2 dogs at a time, to ensure a quiet, calm, and more relaxing stay, and have a large fenced in backyard for playtime. Dogs staying with us must be house trained. We also have a cat, who loves to play with dogs, so to ensure his safety, any dogs boarding with us must be cat friendly. Some of my previous work experience includes 4 years as a veterinary assistant and I'm comfortable with administering medication, if needed. I have dog training experience and have even trained two of our own to become registered therapy dogs. Together, we serve our community by providing pet therapy in shelters for domestic violence victims, assisted living facilities, our local university, in elementary schools, and wherever she's needed. I currently work with German Shepherd Rescue organizations, assessing temperaments/behavior, conducting home visits, and fostering. We live near the airport, which makes it ideal for dropping off and picking up when traveling for work or going on vacation. Several of my clients leave their babies with us when leaving the country. In addition to dog sitting for many friends and family members over the years, I've also taken care of cats, horses, goats, and even iguanas! I can't wait to provide extra love, play time, and affection for your fur baby, too! I work from home and we have two dogs and a cat. I closely supervise any dogs that are our guests here and can provide potty breaks as frequently as needed. Any pets staying with us are supervised inside and out. Our yard is large and fenced in, so it's a great place for play sessions. For drop in visits, I customize it to the owner's wishes and dog's needs.

“Megan was awesome! She clearly loves her own pets. I appreciated that she let our dog inside the house and on the bed with her for snuggles. We got lots of photo updates. Her yard is large and fenced in as well.”

“Ryan was super patient and knowledgeable with our little puppy and a great deal of help! We will definitely need her services in the future, highly recommended!”

About: I’ve had pets of my own since as long as I can remember. The smallest being a hamster and the largest being two horses. Cats and dogs are my happy place though. If I’m walking by any dog I have to stop and ask if I can pet them! I want the very best for these sweet souls. If I can help you make sure your baby is taken care of, it would be an honor! I am currently a stay at home mom (thanks to my wonderful husband!) with a handsome 2 y/o little boy and a beautiful 12 y/o daughter. I have the flexibility to go to your home to play or walk your fur baby. I can also go on an adventure, go to the park, or bring them to my home. What you and your babies need works for me! I have two dogs myself. I have Piper a Pomeranian and Reese a brindled Heinz 57. We have a ranch style home with a fenced in back yard. Our neighborhood is a great walk with varying grades. I keep a clean and tidy home free of choking opportunities since I have a young son. Reese is crate trained and Piper roams around.

About: I LOVE my furry friends! I've had dogs in my life for over 20 years now, but I enjoy making friends of all species! I have owned several dogs with severe trauma, and I understand how important it is to uphold the boundaries, needs, and safety of each dog. I'm available 7 days a week, flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs. Early mornings, evenings, and overnights are welcome! Extended hours and last-minute bookings accommodated when possible. Trust your pet to a responsible, experienced sitter. Reliable, punctual, and attentive to your pet's unique needs. Your pet's happiness, health, and safety are my top priority. I'm committed to delivering exceptional care and peace of mind for you and your furry friend.

“Excellent communication and care, put our apprehension at ease about leaving our puppy. Thank you, see you soon!”

“Maria has watched my dog Arty several times, and if you ask him, he would give her 10 stars! I can tell he really likes it there by the way he gets so excited when he realizes he’s there for the day! I get several pictures of his play day once a day, and sometimes a cool video. A great way to stay in touch with your pet while he’s away during the day. Maria’s French bulldog Stella is a very intelligent, tolerant dog, and is now Arty’s best friend! I would highly recommend Maria for pet watching in her home and boarding.”

About: I am a proud dog mom! I love spending time with dogs. I enjoy going on long walks, playing fetch, and giving snuggles and pets. I am currently transitioning out of the education field. I will be on summer break for all of June and July. I am hoping to find a remote position after that. I have a very flexible schedule which enables me to be flexible with pet care. I have own one dog who is five years old. He is loving and playful towards other dogs. I have a fenced in back yard. I have a dog door that can be inserted when needed. I live in a very walkable neighborhood that connects to the greenway. I also enjoy going into Pisgah National Forest almost daily for hikes.

“Logan is awesome, he agreed to doggy day care on short notice. He gave our dogs the space they needed to adjust to him and his dog, and when I picked them up in the afternoon they were playing and ignoring me, and fell straight asleep in the car ride home. We found our new routine!”

About: I believe dogs are a gift to all of us and should therefore be spoiled rotten! I’ve had my lab since he was a pup and he’s highly trained and well-behaved. And yes, the king of the castle. I’m currently working remotely from home, so I’m available for dog walking, potty breaks and boarding opportunities for pups who wouldn’t mind some extra love from my friendly 6-year-old black lab. I live on half an acre but it’s not fenced in. We can enjoy leashed potty breaks and walks aplenty! And lots of hugs and pets of course.

“Elizabeth was amazing. Great communication easy to deal with took fabulous care of our doggy. Highly recommend that she treated Rocket as if it was her pet.”

About: My name is Mac Harman and I am a 25 year old living just outside of Hendersonville, NC. I am a certified and licensed athletic trainer and I am the Director of Sports Medicine for my company full-time. I did my undergrad at the University of Kentucky and was on the Women's Gymnastics Team and did the sport since I was 3 years old. I mention this because as a student athlete it allowed me to be disciplined and responsible. I know how to communicate well with others, and I am diligent with my work. I take my work seriously whether that be a pet, sport or career. I fostered dogs throughout undergrad to give me more experience and make a change in an animal's life. I ended up adopting one of my foster dogs and it was the best decision i've ever made! I rescued another dog in February of 2023, so I have lots of personal dog experience. I understand that having a dog is not just having a pet, but it is another family member. I treat them as such. With my experience as a foster dog mom, and being a pet owner myself - I know that I am responsible and loving towards all animals. I love playing with dogs including taking them to the dog park, walking them, and cuddling! I would love nothing more than to help take the stress off other dog owners, and help take care of their fur friends when needed! Having a pet of my own, my dog is my whole world and I exercise, feed, and love him endlessly every day! I am lucky to only be away from my dog for a couple hours during the day and able to spend a lot of time with him still and give him the attention and love he deserves! When discussing my schedule, I do work 8-4:30pm on Mon-Fri so I am only available to do evening shifts or to help out on the weekend. I also ask the person I am dog sitting for what they want, and I always accommodate to whatever makes my client feel most comfortable! I understand that it is their space, so I always will be respectful of that and whatever their wishes are.

16. Haley D.

“Haley is a lover of all animals, great and small. And boy do they love her back! Never one to shy away from conflict, I have seen Haley handle heated situations between fur babies with confidence and ease. She is always one to make the most responsible choice, putting the safety of the animal first. But believe me, that doesn't mean fun goes out the window. If she's not running through the mountains or at a watering hole with hers or others doggos, she's making sure they're enjoying a treat or some fetch time. Her natural acceptance of each animals personality and working within those bounds is a great strength of hers. She treats her big boy, Otter, as if her own, human son and she will no doubt do the same for you and yours. All 4 of my animals are big fans of Haley!”

“Mac is an incredible caregiver to all animals, especially dogs! She currently has a rescued boxer at home, who is her pride and joy! She has lots of experience with these animals, as she both currently has a boxer at home and has recently fostered a cocker spaniel poodle named Sugar. She consistently puts her animals first, and makes sure that all her pets are taken care of, but also are living a happy and healthy life! Mac enjoys being outdoors and staying fit alongside her pup, and will always be taking her pup along with her on walks, runs, outings in general!”
