We completely understand how stressful it can be to find a dog sitter — we’ve been there too! It’s scary leaving your fur baby with a total stranger. A dog sitter is supposed to take away that stress, not add to it. We’d love to help ease that stress. OUR #1 PRIORITY... is that your dog is relaxed and safe in our care. We will never leave them unattended, take them off the property, let them go outside at night alone, put them in a kennel (ever), forget to let them to pee, brush them off the couch, ignore them or feed them anything that isn't approved by you. We are super aware of your dog's needs, happiness and daily routine. In our care, your dog is one of the family. But will my dog have fun? YES! Our home is so much fun! It’s perfect for a dog that likes a combination of relaxation, fun and discovery. Our yard is full of butterflies, birds, fresh green grass and a hilarious family of squirrels. Our guests can roll in the grass, lounge on a chair or run after the squirrels. Don’t worry, these squirrels are smart. They’ve never been caught. Our yard and home are clutter-free - your dog won’t find food, kids toys or other things they shouldn’t get into anywhere on the property. Our property is completely safe with a 7ft fence. We do not treat our yard with pesticides. Inside, your dog can take a nap on one of our dog 7 beds (although dogs are allowed on all the furniture). Best of all, your dog won't be alone. We have two chihuahuas for your dog to play. So your dog will have a ball! There are no children on the property. Do you take photos or video of my dog’s stay? Throughout your pet’s stay, you'll get updated on all the fun through photos and we usually produce a music video with your pet in the starring role. You may even request a favorite song. Tell me about you… My husband and I work from home so we’re always around to play catch, give belly rubs or comfort your pet if they have separation anxiety. We specialize in small breeds, but will consider larger dogs who are non-aggressive breeds (up to 20 lbs). Because the other dogs all small, we can only host dogs of similar size. Do you do long term boarding? We have boarded dogs for a weekend to 3 months. Discounts can be given to long term guests. Your prices are higher.... As the saying goes... you get what you pay for. When we board or host your dog for daycare, we are with your dog the entire time. That means, for boarding, we charge $70 for 24 hours... that's $2.91 an hour. We don't leave our house the entire time -- To put it in perspective, the average babysitter is $16 per hour. If we were charging minimum wage ($14.25) it would be $342 for 24 hours of work. But let's not forget, Rover takes $10 from us for every day of booking (in addition to adding a fee on your end)... it comes to $59 for the day. Can you really trust anyone for less than that? We take your pet's safety very seriously and our prices reflect that. How do I book? Send us a quick message. We can do a meet and greet anytime! DOGGY DAYCARE TIME LIMITS Dogs can be held in doggy daycare for 10 hours max. Rover specifies daycare time windows to be 7-9am for drop-off/start time, and 4-6pm for pick-up/end time. All pick-up and drop-offs are between 8AM-8PM. If you need to pick up or drop off outside those hours, please let us know. An additional charge of $5 will be added per after hour. No pick-ups later than 10pm or before 6am. BOARDING: Boarding covers a 24hr period. If you extend past the 24 hours, you will be charged the boarding plus the extra day of daycare. If the daycare exceeds 8 hours, you'll be charged another day of boarding. We work from home so we are always available to care for your dog. We understand pet safety, how to spot if other dogs are aggressive or if you dog doesn't like another dog. Your pet's safety is our top priority. About: My walks are always individual and in your dog’s familiar neighborhood, no pack walks. Whether your babies like a fast pace or slow, I pay attention to what makes them the most comfortable. I’ve worked with all sizes and temperaments of dogs as a volunteer for the Lange Foundation and Best Friends Animal Society for many years as well as being a dog mom all of my life. I have a special place in my heart for senior dogs or dogs with special needs. My two little Shi Tzu mixes, Baxter and Wally love having overnight guests and are so welcoming, they even let them sleep in bed. Pet care is my job. I’m available to take care of your pet at my dog-friendly home or drop in for a walk in your neighborhood. I have a small fenced yard and 2 friendly Shi Tzu mixes that love other dogs to stay over I have a very pet friendly and calm home environment, rest assured your babies will be made to feel at home. About: I have pet therapy experience with a calm Labernese, who I took to children's reading circles, and furnephew care experience with a high-strung Toy Goldendoodle and Cavapoo. My family also had a Mini Goldendoodle who is now a therapy dog. I also house-sat a geriatric Schipperke during a snowstorm in New York and am attentive to special needs like specialist foods and vitamins as required. I love all breeds. I also have a year and a half of experience assisting a dog behaviorist and have considerable walking and care experience with dogs. To be upfront, if you sleep with pets that is fine but I will not sleepover with pets in bed.
