“Rachel is awesome!! She took the time for a meet and greet with Darla the day before I needed her for a couple of walks while I was at work. I’m a first time dog mom, and just got Darla at the beginning of the week. Rachel was super patient with my girl, walked her twice and even helped reinforce the commands she’s learning. I felt extremely safe leaving my new best friend in Rachel’s hands! Will definitely have Rachel come back for more hangs with Darla 🥹💗🐾”

I work from home and have the ability to provide regular and constant care for your animal. I love taking dogs for a walk on the park trail outside, or providing your reptile with an outdoor pool experience to cool off. Animals are what I love and how I like to spend my time! In my home, I give pets a calm and safe environment where they can relax and feel like part of the family. I have a fenced yard for dogs to play and get fresh air, and quiet spots indoors where cats or older pets can nap without stress. I stick to their usual routines—meals, walks, meds, bedtime—so they feel comfortable even while you're away. The outdoor space backs up to a park and trail, so your animals will have plenty of exercise and outdoor experience, if desired. “Eric was great with my pups. They really enjoyed their walk! Our dogs are 70 and 95lbs and Eric had no problem walking both at the same time. I look forward to having him help with our dogs again.”

About: I’m a responsible and energetic dog walker who loves all pups! I’m comfortable with all kinds of dogs, big, small, feisty, or shy, and I’m great at keeping them safe and happy. I go the extra mile for every pup I meet and would love to give your pup or pups the best experience. I just graduated college and I’m looking for part time work. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. I’ve loved walking them, training them, cuddling with them and playing with them! My apartment doesn’t allow dogs so I’d love to get to spend some time with some pups. I can house sit during the week and weekend, flexible work schedule. I can also go on multiple walks a day throughout the week and weekend! I’m always sure to go with what the pet owner says about their pet, I know all pets are different and have different needs so making sure to accommodate all of that is my main priority. Will go with the flow of what the dog or cat is needing in terms of play, cuddles, walks, etc.

“Sai was so great at taking care of my sweet, old dog! He fed her and gave her water and treats as I asked, and gave her tons of attention and great walks! Also, he took a ton of photos and provided great detail on each walk! I would absolutely recommend Sai.”

About: I have been regularly dog-sitting for over 10 years and nothing makes me happier than getting the chance to love your dog! I love a long walk and a good snuggle after. I work from home as a freelancer in production. I love to have a dog as a built-in coworker, and a buddy to take breaks with where we can play. I have cared for dogs in huge homes and in tiny apartments and have found that you can give good belly rubs just about anywhere and there are always good and safe places to take nice walks.

About: What sets me apart is over 6 years of hands-on, diverse pet care experience—ranging from playful puppies to senior dogs, cats, bunnies, and reptiles like Leopard Geckos and Iguanas. I specialize in working with dogs who have separation anxiety, using calming routines, gradual desensitization, and structured care to help them feel secure and relaxed. I also have extensive experience in puppy training, including housebreaking, basic commands, and proper socialization to build confidence and good behavior from an early age. I’ve worked with a wide range of dog breeds and sizes—including large and gentle giants—and I tailor my care to each pet’s unique personality and needs. My involvement with my aunt’s dog rescue has deepened my understanding of dogs in transition or high-stress situations, teaching me how to provide calm, consistent care for pets adjusting to new environments. In addition to my behavioral experience, I’m passionate about animal welfare and safety. I prioritize a secure home environment—ensuring doors and windows are closed, leashes and harnesses are properly fitted, and crates are used when needed. I follow any safety instructions you provide and treat your pet like family, building trust through reliable, loving care. My ability to adapt to different species, behaviors, and needs, along with my focus on emotional well-being and routine, helps me stand out as a sitter who truly understands what it means to keep pets happy, healthy, and comfortable in your absence. As a college student with classes only two days a week and online coursework that I manage on my own schedule, I have the flexibility to provide consistent and personalized pet care throughout the week. I also work just a few hours Thursday through Saturday, which still leaves plenty of time for daytime or evening pet care. This flexible routine allows me to tailor my availability around each pet’s needs—whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, overnight care, or extended stays. I’m comfortable supporting a variety of energy levels, from relaxed companionship for senior pets to active play and exercise for high-energy dogs. My experience with pets of all ages helps me adapt easily, and I take pride in creating routines that make pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. I will ensure that the environment is dog- and puppy-proofed, making certain that all doors are securely closed. I will also confirm that there are no toxic plants or foods accessible to the pets. Additionally, I will ensure that harnesses and leashes are properly secured. If crating is necessary, please inform me in advance so I can accommodate this when I leave. If there are any other safety measures you would like me to implement, please let me know.

About: I’ve taken care of my friends pets when they’ve been on vacation or need someone to take their dog for a walk. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks, playing with them and laying on the couch with a snuggly dog/cat after a long day. I do babysitting occasionally and on the way of getting my real estate license which i am doing from home, so my schedule is flexible getting to play and hang with your pup or cat!! If there’s any rules owners prefer such as crate sleeping, not sleeping on bed/couch it will be enforced in their home while still having a happy cat/dog!!

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for 12+ years — from playful puppies to senior sweethearts. I grew up with dogs and have raised five of my own, so I truly understand every stage of a pup’s life. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me for years to walk, train, feed, bathe, and love their fur babies like my own. I currently work part-time, which means I have plenty of time and energy to dedicate to your pup! I’m available for walks and check-ins on weekdays. Whether it’s a quick walk or a long afternoon hangout, I’m here to make your dog feel loved and cared for. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard, and two gentle, social dogs who love meeting new friends. I’m happy to crate your pup if needed and always follow your specific care instructions. My home is calm, clean, and full of love.

About: I've watched many different pets under many different conditions. I am a quick learner and I follow instructions well. I put any pet's needs above everything. Pet care is a natural and meaningful part of my daily routine. Since I currently have open availability, I’m able to plan my days around each pet’s specific schedule—whether that means early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime. I enjoy spending time with animals and make it a priority to give them the attention and care they need throughout the day. Building a consistent routine with each pet not only keeps them happy and healthy but also allows me to form real connections with them. It’s something I genuinely enjoy and take pride in every week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to maintain their usual routine to keep them feeling secure and relaxed. I follow any instructions you provide closely—whether it’s feeding schedules, walk times, medication, or house rules—and always treat your home with the utmost respect. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I provide a calm, pet-friendly environment with plenty of space to play, relax, and feel comfortable. No matter the setting, I focus on creating a safe, loving, and stress-free experience that feels as close to home as possible for your pet.

About: As of July 4, 2020 - We've moved so we are only doing dog walks for new clients. Old clients can request dog sitting. Send us a message to find out more. - Babette & Erik Hello and welcome! We completely understand how stressful it can be to find a dog sitter — we’ve been there too! It’s scary leaving your fur baby with a total stranger. A dog sitter is supposed to take away that stress, not add to it. We’d love to help ease that stress. OUR #1 PRIORITY... is that your dog is relaxed and safe in our care. We will never leave them unattended, take them off the property, let them go outside at night alone, put them in a kennel (ever), forget to let them to pee, brush them off the couch, ignore them or feed them anything that isn't approved by you. We are super aware of your dog's needs, happiness and daily routine. In our care, your dog is one of the family. But will my dog have fun? YES! Our home is so much fun! It’s perfect for a dog that likes a combination of relaxation, fun and discovery. Our yard is full of butterflies, birds, fresh green grass and a hilarious family of squirrels. Our guests can roll in the grass, lounge on a chair or run after the squirrels. Don’t worry, these squirrels are smart. They’ve never been caught. We play relaxing music throughout the house and yard to keep everyone happy and relaxed. What’s your home like? Our yard and home are clutter-free - your dog won’t find food, kids toys or other things they shouldn’t get into anywhere on the property. Our property is completely safe with a 7ft fence. We do not treat our yard with pesticides. Inside, your dog can take a nap on one of our dog 7 beds (although dogs are allowed on all the furniture). Best of all, your dog won't be alone. We have two chihuahuas for your dog to play. So your dog will have a ball! There are no children on the property. Do you take photos or video of my dog’s stay? Throughout your pet’s stay, you'll get updated on all the fun through photos and we usually produce a music video with your pet in the starring role. You may even request a favorite song. Tell me about you… My husband and I work from home so we’re always around to play catch, give belly rubs or comfort your pet if they have separation anxiety. We specialize in small breeds, but will consider larger dogs who are non-aggressive breeds (up to 20 lbs). Because the other dogs all small, we can only host dogs of similar size. Do you do long term boarding? We have boarded dogs for a weekend to 3 months. Discounts can be given to long term guests. Your prices are higher.... As the saying goes... you get what you pay for. When we board or host your dog for daycare, we are with your dog the entire time. That means, for boarding, we charge $70 for 24 hours... that's $2.91 an hour. We don't leave our house the entire time -- To put it in perspective, the average babysitter is $16 per hour. If we were charging minimum wage ($14.25) it would be $342 for 24 hours of work. But let's not forget, Rover takes $10 from us for every day of booking (in addition to adding a fee on your end)... it comes to $59 for the day. Can you really trust anyone for less than that? We take your pet's safety very seriously and our prices reflect that. How do I book? Send us a quick message. We can do a meet and greet anytime! DOGGY DAYCARE TIME LIMITS Dogs can be held in doggy daycare for 10 hours max. Rover specifies daycare time windows to be 7-9am for drop-off/start time, and 4-6pm for pick-up/end time. All pick-up and drop-offs are between 8AM-8PM. If you need to pick up or drop off outside those hours, please let us know. An additional charge of $5 will be added per after hour. No pick-ups later than 10pm or before 6am. BOARDING: Boarding covers a 24hr period. If you extend past the 24 hours, you will be charged the boarding plus the extra day of daycare. If the daycare exceeds 8 hours, you'll be charged another day of boarding. We work from home so we are always available to care for your dog. We understand pet safety, how to spot if other dogs are aggressive or if you dog doesn't like another dog. Your pet's safety is our top priority. We will follow your rules when it comes to caring for your pet. Please let us know what we can do to make the walk/stay comfortable for your pet.

I have experience as an assistant to a dog behaviorist and also taking a therapy dog to reading circles for underserved children and senior citizens. I am very empathetic and attentive to what a dog needs in the moment.

“Karin has been so helpful- especially with last minute request for the Holidays. She took care of my Olive and was very patient with her. Thanks Karin!”

Lili M.

“Lili was great!! Always on time for walks, super flexible with walk routes, and very communicative - Maverick was well taken care of. Will definitely be reaching out to Lili again in the future for help with Maverick!”

LUCINDA H.
“I tried doggy day care drop off this past weekend with Lucy. It was great. My pup was only there for a few hours, but I received updates and pictures. When I returned my dog was wagging its tail. Added bonus for the BEAUTIFUL BACKYARD and the outdoors nearby.”

Ashley S.
“For the past three years, Ashley has been my pet sitter for my cat, Charlie. He adores her, even though he’s usually very shy with people. When I go out of town, Ashley is the only sitter for Charlie I will consider. One thing I love about her pet sitting is that my home is always better than how I left it. Around my house she sweeps and waters my plants. She also cleans out Charlie’s food dishes, his litter, and brushes him. All while still managing to send me videos of her playing with him while she’s here. Another thing I love is that she gives me updates about him every time she visits. Giving me assurance that he is doing good without me. Ashley would be a great pick for Rover because she is reliable, smart, and kindhearted. And having her join the Rover team would be a great addition.”

Eric B.

Isabella S.
“I highly recommend Isabella S. as a pet sitter and dog walker! She has always been extremely natural with animals—gentle, attentive, and endlessly loving. Back when she was in college, she even took in my dog to care for him, and I’ll never forget how thoughtful and responsible she was. She treated him like her own, making sure he felt comfortable, safe, and happy every single day. Isabella has also fostered kittens, which shows just how big her heart is and how much she truly cares for animals of all kinds. She has this special sensitivity to each pet’s needs—whether that means giving a shy animal extra patience, noticing when a pup needs a little extra TLC, or keeping a high-energy dog entertained with plenty of walks and playtime. She’s active and playful, so pets absolutely love being around her, but she’s also dependable and caring, which gives you complete peace of mind as an owner. She truly loves all animals, and it shines through in the way they trust and adore her. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and full of positive energy to care for your pets, Isabella is the one.”

Leigha T.
“I've known plenty of dog walkers who love Rover for a source of income-- and that's all fine and dandy. But it's more than that for Leigha. Every time Leigha interacts with a dog, she immediately treats that dog like it is her own. She's attentive to their needs, passionate about making them happy, and intensely protective of each dog she cares for. She does this not because she's professional (though she's extremely professional, follows instructions to a T, she's and dedicated to doing a job well done) or because it's the right thing to do (though it is, and she's a kind soul) but because it's what makes her happy. She loves being around animals, she loves taking care of them, and she's really, really good at it. I cannot recommend her highly enough-- your baby will be in good hands with her.”

Laci J.
“Laci is great! I trust her so much I even pass her maybe of my rover clients that I’m not available to take. She’s super responsive, responsible, and kind. Highly recommended”

Yihan H.
“To whom It May Concern, I’ve hired her multiple times to take care of my energetic border collie, and I’m always amazed at how effortlessly she connects with him. Anyone who owns a border collie knows how much stimulation and patience they require—and she handles it like a total pro. From long walks to mental games and even calming my dog when he’s overly anxious, she does it all with calm confidence and genuine care. My dog absolutely adores her—he wags his tail the moment she walks through the door and can’t wait to go out with her. She also sends thoughtful updates, photos, and notes after each visit, which gives me complete peace of mind. It’s so rare to find someone who combines experience, reliability, and love for animals in such a natural way. I would recommend her to any pet parent without hesitation.”

Taryn H.
“Taryn is absolutely amazing with animals! She takes the time to truly connect with each dog, learning what they love and tailoring every walk or visit to fit their unique personality. Whether it’s a game of fetch, a quiet cuddle, or an adventurous walk, she makes sure they’re happy, safe, and loved. I always feel completely at ease knowing my pup is with someone who genuinely cares. Taryn isn’t just a dog sitter—she’s a trusted companion for our furry family members.”

Rachel is awesome!! Will definitely have Rachel come back for more hangs with Darla 🥹💗🐾

I can’t recommend Therese enough! She really takes the time to understand each individual dog’s behavior and needs. One of my dogs is quite reactive and selective, and Therese handled her with so much patience, skill, and care. She took the time to learn what made my dog feel safe and adjusted her approach accordingly. It gave me huge peace of mind knowing she was in such capable hands. She also is a very clear and consistent communicator. Both of my dogs absolutely love her, and it’s clear that she genuinely loves what she does. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, experienced, and incredibly thoughtful with animals, Therese is it!

Gloria was phenomenal! She went above and beyond to care for my sweet pup - checking on him and making sure he was comfortable and settled before and after each walk. She was prompt in response and made sure I was informed and engaged the whole time away from him. I can’t recommend her enough!

Sarah is the best of the best! My fiancé and I were skeptical about using Rover just because we are so protective of our sweet boy, Rex, but Sarah instantly made us feel comfortable! Her calming energy and sweet personality made it easy for Rex to feel comfortable with her on the first meet and greet, and since then, he has been LOVING his time with her! Sarah is professional, kind, and extremely punctual. We never have to ask her for updates because she always just gives them to us, and we know our sweet Rex is in GREAT hands with her!! She is an amazing Rover and we will be using her for as long as we can!!! That you, Sarah!! Rover is lucky to have you!!
