About: As a life-long pet owner, lover, and caretaker, I am well-equipped to take in your furry friends and passionate about giving them a warm, safe place to stay (and play). I’ve had pets since I was a child — some of my fondest memories involve wet kisses and long, sniff-filled walks around the neighborhood. In addition to providing my family pets with basic care and love, I’ve watched and cared for dogs in my community since I was a tween. Neighbors enlisted my help to walk, feed, and check in on their pets while away, and I happily obliged any time I could. I’ve also cared for my own pup (a Golden Retriever) since I was 18, allowing me to adapt and grow with my dog over many years, homes, and chapters of life. Additionally, I lived with an experienced dog trainer for nearly five years, learning about dog behavior, care, training, and safety. During this time, I interacted (at home and in training classes) with dozens of breeds each with unique temperaments. I’ve lived with multiple dogs at once, and have experience with reactive pups who need more space and patience than others. Most of my time spent away from home is flexible and lasts (at most) 5 hours (with a few exceptions). I have a large, fenced yard with plenty of room to explore, sniff, and play! I have one 11 year old dog — a sweet, social, pet-friendly Golden Retriever — to keep your pup company. His name is Simba, he loves to say hi and will engage if your pup initiates, but is also very content to keep to himself and takes cues and warnings well. Simba is a free roaming dog and I am happy to keep your pup out and about while I'm home and able to supervise. I also live with a cat who keeps to herself and stays confined to a dog-free room. She will not interact with your pets during their stay. For your pup's safety and mine, I prefer they are crate trained. That way, I can ensure they are safe and comfortable while I'm out. I also utilize kennels as a quiet space for dogs to decompress and recharge separate from outside distractions. However, they will be offered plenty of time outside of their crates, both indoors and outdoors. Dogs are allowed on furniture and beds in my house. However, I can enforce any off-furniture rules to maintain their routine while away from home.

Much of my experience is with exotic animals (avian, aquatic, small mammals), as well as numerous dog breeds, including both toy and working breeds of all ages. About: I started caring for pets at 12 years old. Babysitting hoomans was very short. I’ve always enjoyed helping my friends and neighbors walk their poochies I’ve even baby sat a few some for a weekend some for a few months I done where there were multiple different animals in the home from dog, 15-year cat, Guinea pig, I made sure they were fed, bathed, if needed to be and walked. I've helped a friend watched her pets where it was every month for 3 years. Ive had a pregnant cat , ive fostered kittens, Ive also watched puppies. Im also a hiker I go on at least 2 mile hikes 2 times a week. Need support at the vet? I’ve got you I’m also an emotional support human for your fur babies. I’ve owned many pets myself rats (5), hamsters, fish, ferrets, sugar gliders, lizards, cat, dogs (least 9 in my lifetime) ranged from Great Danes to lapso apso to chow chow mixed. I have a 20 year-old daughter who is my teammate, and she helps tag team if I need to be she enjoys it just as much as I do Shes been helping me for past 6 years or so. She will also help me with the walks. After about 6 years We finally got our own doggo a Border Collie mixed lots of energy he gets 2 walks a day of at least 30 minutes, mix play time, hikes at least two times a week for him we do at least 3 miles He is good with cats and other dogs. For the past 3 years I've helped train 3 of my friends and their dogs all were puppies, each knows at least five to ten commands. My boy knows about 20 commands and 3 buttons (those things he can touch to use words) and we do some agility training puzzles snufflemats he is not short on entertainment or stimulation. I'm currently home full time , so I’ll have plenty of time to play and give your fur baby undivided attention with your doggos . My daughter is finished with school so she also home full time as well. Walks are given early mornings late evenings we do not go out if it’s above 90 during the summer we won’t go out if it’s to hot for the dogs but will do other activities to compensate I do have a large doggy pool I get out for summer time . Winter time similar concept we do not go out if it’s below 25 degrees and walks are a lot shorter . If you have booties we will use them . Snow suit ? We’ll put that on too . We walk in snow rain or shine . Not hurricane status though we skip those . My boy is great with other dogs and can keep your dog company if they get lonely. Would make a great packwalk buddy. I do have a extra kennel for up 70lb dogs (which I do clean throughly after use ) . I do prefer their own kennel if applicable for it smells like their own space . Some dogs quite like knowing they have their own space to go to. I want them to feel like they have their own space to go to if they don’t want to sleep on the couch or bed with us I want them to feel comfortable in any space and any room they are in . Kennel is only used when neither of us are home and for safety as a precaution I do not kennel the dogs in the same kennel when we leave . I also know where emergency vets are if needed I have the animal poison hotline number also on hand these are things I learned over the years good things to have handy . My dog max has gotten his fair share of things you shouldn’t eat infact I’ve gone as far as not even not having things in my house because I want him to be safe so the safety applies very strongly here . Even my two plants are high off the ground that only a Great Dane would be able to reach .

About: I have had dogs all my life. We currently have two very well-behaved and socialized medium/large dogs who like to play with friends. Our home is dogs on the couch friendly, no carpet (a plus for puppy's in training) and has a dog door to our fenced back yard. The yard is large and has covered areas. I work from home and am here all day. We do have three children, so will only accept pets who are good with children. I prefer to take "day camp" dogs since the kids are in school and the house is pretty quiet. Overnight stays will have to be strongly vetted to ensure the pup fits into our household after work routine (and is able to handle young children). Doggos have free range of the first floor of our home and are able to access the yard via doggy door freely. If you would like your dog crated you will need to provide the crate. Please feel free to bring comfort objects like beds, blankets and toys.

About: I accidentally went into the dog sitting business by helping out a person from the dog park who didn't have anyone to watch her Giant Schnauzer. I took care of him for 8 days. He did not want to go with her when she picked him up. Haha. That's how much of a good time he had. That was going to be the end of me dog sitting,but this lady spread the word and before I knew it, I became the go-to guy for everyone! I watched all kinds of dogs. From Great Danes to Chihuahuas. I watched problem dogs, senior dogs, puppies and anything in between. My place is a dog house! No restrictions for furniture, bed use, unless rules need to be applied as requested by the dogs owners. My yard is approx 1/2acre and fenced. I have a full size Truck to take any size doggie to walking and hiking areas. I accept short notice assignments either at my place or your home. My prices on here are negotiable, based on the doggie and/time you need help with. I don't know how to groom (unless brushing counts as grooming??😉),but will love to give baths. This is a single person household and there are no other doggies in the house. I just lost my beloved Great Dane Grace after 12 years, so all my love and affection will go toward your doggie! You will get daily updates most likely accompanied by professional looking photos of your doggie or cat. (I do pet photography on the side) I retired early and am available to stay with your doggie 24/7. I am an avid photographer and rather take your doggie with me on walks/hikes (depending on your doggies activity level/age etc.) than just letting them out in the yard. I know oodles of safe walking/hiking areas and will pick the ones that match your doggies desires. We will discuss details for your doggie upon you meeting me personally. I'm German and super nice! Dogs just love me. Always have. Maybe I smell like cookies. Haha. Who knows.

About: I grew up with a yellow lab and loved taking her on walks and to the park to play and toss a ball. I’m also very experienced with cats and enjoy caring for them too. I’m comfortable giving baths, trimming nails, or just hanging out and keeping them company. I’m responsible, reliable, and excited to work with you! I’m currently off for the summer and have open availability until mid-August, when I’ll be starting a part-time job at a middle school. I have a few trips planned, but overall I’m pretty flexible and available for pet sitting throughout the summer! Right now I’m living in my aunt’s basement with my two cats, so I’m not able to host dogs at my place. That said, my cats get along well with other cats, so if needed, I can offer care at my home for cats only.
