About: Born and raised in Boulder, I've had dogs since age 5. I work from home with a flexible schedule so can meet your pet’s individual needs. I'm happy to board pets weekdays and/or weekends, holidays included. I have a fenced in backyard on just under a quarter of an acre, yet the house still feels cozy and comfortable. Your pup can be kept in an enclosed room or given free roam depending on your pet's comfort and needs. Your pup will join Cowboy (my 3-year old heeler/corgi mix) and me on our daily adventures including daily hikes up Sanitas, walks in downtown Boulder, and relaxing in my large, fenced backyard on Mapleton. We're active, friendly, understand and follow appropriate dog/owner etiquette, and love spending time outside. If you'd like your pup to be walked without Cowboy along, that's fine too. In the house, your pup is welcome to go where he/she feels comfortable, which is often right by Cowboy and me on the back deck, doing yardwork, or reading by the fire. Cowboy and I walk 5+ miles a day, which keeps us active and sleeping well. Mapleton Hill is a pet friendly neighborhood so it’s easy to take dogs on walks, runs, and leashed social interactions on Pearl St and up Sanitas mountain. Training-wise, Cowboy and I follow the "Wolf Pack" method, which means that the human is the alpha and in-charge. Cowboy heels, comes when called, isn't allowed on the bed, and does 30 minutes of training per day. Your pup is welcome to join or just be an observer to such training!

“Zane jumped in last minute to help check in on a 4 month old puppy I was fostering. He was so prompt with his communication and made the process a breeze. Much appreciated!”

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was a kid, and our family had a revolving door of fosters, rescues, and other pets in search of a home. While this has mostly been dogs and cats, I have experience taking care of a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, lizards, tortoises, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, rats - pretty much anything you’d be allowed to have in your home! I love working with pets of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. From a play date in the park to emergency vet visits, from mealtime routines to administering medicine, I know that each pet has certain things to make sure they are loved and cared for. I’m happy to work with you to make sure all of your pets needs are met :) I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I am able to be present whenever and wherever your pets need me! On occasion I travel for work, but I always have that updated in my availability schedule way in advance. For me, it’s the perfect way to take a mid-day break, get a new “office,” and spend some time hanging out with your furry friends! Because my schedule is flexible, I can make pet care a priority at different times of day, so if you need a constant presence, check-ins every few hours, or medication at a certain time, I’m happy to make it work. One thing I really prioritize is good communication with you as the pet owner so that you feel comfortable and can build trust with me. For some people, this may be photos or text check-ins, while others may need FaceTimes or phone calls to make sure their furry friends are all taken care of. My work schedule is very flexible and I am more than happy to meet whatever needs you have so that you can go about your day! When we meet, I make sure to take thorough notes for what pet care your pets need, even if you have written instructions prepared. That way, if something goes wrong, I have a backup of emergency numbers, medication locations, or other needs of your pet. I don’t have pets in my own home, but I have a fenced in yard and am happy to take them outside or to the local park for walks on-leash.

About: My entire life I have owned at least 3 pets. From foster cats, to my own cats, dogs, neighbors dogs, etc. I am a pet person through and through. I have a range of ages of animals I’ve taken care of - from dogs in elderly stages to 2 week old kittens. I am currently working from home Mon,Wed, Thursday, Fri. I’m constantly taking quick walks around the block during the day to keep my energy up and get outside. We have already cat sat in our apartment and everything went smoothly. We ensure doors are closed and locked at all times so there is a 0% chance of escaping. I live in between two parks as well which are always full of dogs to play in.

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs in my house my whole life. I truly love animals and would love to meet your furry friend. I’m currently a college student who has a part time job that I work in between classes. I’m looking for something over the weekend or after 5 pm. I love animals and am very patient when it comes to animals. I love to try to teach dogs new tricks and play with them until they are tuckered out.

About: I have grown up around many dogs for most of my life and I am comfortable with all types and sizes! I know what it takes for pet care and I promise to treat your fur babies like they’re my own! I am currently a student but have many breaks throughout the day and I work part-time but only 1-2 times per week. I am home all weekend and my mondays and fridays are very open as well!! I don’t have a fenced in yard, but my apartment complex is very pet friendly and I would take the time to let them out and walk them as frequently as they need.

“It was so comforting to get Dana’s messages not only that everything was ok, but the details of all the small things she took care of. My senior kitty took to her immediately and I felt good knowing she was so happy to see Dana each visit. Dana was punctual, super friendly, and very communicative. Boots and I can’t wait to have her back.”

“Stephanie was beyond attentive with our cat and made sure to send lots of photos and written updates. I have no doubt that he was loved and taken care of while we were gone. Would love to rebook and would recommend to anyone looking for genuine and attentive pet care.”

About: I am working remotely and looking for dogs to hang out with as I'm not quite ready to adopt my own! My family has had dogs my entire life and have pet-sitted over the years for neighbors and friends. I am very comfortable caring for and playing with dogs, and have a car for any transportation that may be necessary. I'm available all day during the week for walks, day care boarding and drop ins. I do have occasional work meetings during the day but I will work with your schedule to make care possible! I have a small fenced-in yard that I can bring your dog to if desired. I am happy to bring your dogs into my apartment for boarding as needed!

About: I have several years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, including puppies and senior pets. I’m really patient and make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable—whether they’re staying with me or I’m visiting them. I treat every animal like they’re my own, and I think that personal care really makes a difference. I’m currently working in Denver and commuting during the week but I am available every weekend from Friday afternoon till Sunday night! After August 8th I am available during the week as well. I live in a large two-story home with plenty of space for pets to play and relax. While I don’t have a yard, I make sure pets get regular walks and indoor playtime. Whether in my home or a client’s, and give each pet lots of love, attention, and updates to their owner.

About: I grew up with a few dogs with various care needs. I can administer meds, exercise, and potty train! I also grew up with other animals; like cats, et cetera. I can do at least basic care for them. I’m unemployed, so I can literally do whatever whenever! I like to run in the mornings, so walks or other forms of play would be perfect. I can also fit almost any feeding schedule into my routine. I like to make sure an animal’s body language is relaxed, or at least not aggressive. I make sure any safety needs are met and that nothing is unsanitary.
