About: I have taken care of dogs of my own my whole life, but I was also given the opportunity to work with large breed dogs in a medical and kennel setting and have thorough experience in enrichment, behavior, and compassion. I have a certification in Dog Emotion and Cognition through Duke University and have trained all of my own dogs myself. My three dogs are all retired research animals, as are my three mice. I work in Chapel Hill and usually have to let my own animals out at 5, so late day walks work well, or weekend care. I walk my own dogs multiple times a day and they get enrichment toys and feeders when they get bored like lick mats and snuffle matts. I also have a very allergy sensative dog that gets ear and skin medicine, has a sun shirt, and eats prescription food and treats.

About: I have a ton of varying experience with animals. I was a vet tech, have puppy raised multiple service dogs, taught private training lessons, and managed a dog grooming & boarding resort. About: We are a happy family of four, able to provide fun and love for your babies (they're all young at heart, right?). Our schedule is good for those who want extra love for their pets while they're away. On weekdays, we are in and out and we try to spend a lot of our weekends outdoors. We have a two story house with a big open downstairs area, so there is plenty of room to play. We have a big yard to hang in, and love to walk through the neighborhood. We would like to care for dogs that like children and cats because they're a part of our family too. We both grew up with a mixture of pets, and have no breed restrictions. We do like to try to meet ahead of time, so your dog can decide if he/she likes us, and we can determine your routine will work out for us. We try to make sure your dog is as comfortable as possible and like to stick to your routine as much as we can. My husband is home on & off through the weekday, everyone in the evenings & weekends. Our dogs and cat will be around to play; we care for your dog like we do ours. We have a big back yard and two story house so there is plenty of room to run & play with us & our dogs, and room to take breaks from each other as needed.

“I’m hesitant to write a review about Annie because she is so wonderful, I fear she will be overbooked and can’t fit our puppy into her schedule! To put it simply, she is the best we’ve ever had. She loves every animal, she has a fenced in backyard that our Levi loves to play in. She sends photos and updates, throughout each day and even gives our boy a bath if he gets too muddy from playing.
