About: I have been a passionate pet owner for the last 20 years, as well as a veterinary assistant, foster/rescue advocate, and trainer. I am a licensed human nurse currently working as a stay at home mom, but absolutely love working with animals of all kinds, and wish to continue to help pets and their families in any way that I can. Because of my unique experiences, our home is a wonderful place for me to continue to be involved in pet care and training, and for pet parents to seek skilled quality care. I have been trained in various animal medical skills such as pill administration, injections, subcutaneous fluid administration, topical skin medication/eye medication administration and basic first aid, so caring for animals with ongoing medical needs, mobility restrictions, or medical conditions related to advanced age are not outside of my skill level. My husband Jonathan and I have 3 sweet, well supervised, and well behaved children, and can provide a wonderful boarding or daycare environment for pets that have anxiety with child exposure. There is always someone home when there is a guest pet present, and they are given access to the same amenities that we enjoy- comfy furniture, plenty of safe places to play with close supervision, toys for enrichment, and a clean place to do their "business". Our own dogs have been very well socialized and enjoy the opportunity to interact and play with new friends of all sizes and species. They are excellent with dogs of all sizes as well as cats and exotic pets. I know that routine is very important for some pets, and that disruption of typical routine can cause anxiety. Because they're is always someone home, we can follow care instructions closely to try to emulate the routine that your pet is familiar with. Our home is just shy of 2,000 square feet on 3 acres and has a large fenced back yard for potty and play. Pets will NOT be left outside unsupervised at any time. We do have a covered patio in the back yard as well for shade, and will provide cool, fresh, clean water outdoors during supervised playtime if outdoor play is desired. Indoors, guest pets will have access to our kitchen, dining, and living space. All flooring is hard for easy mess cleanup, and for easy puppy potty training. Off limits sections of the house (ie: storage room, bedrooms when unoccupied) will remain closed or gated. Pets will sleep in our room with us when directly supervised. Our indoor environment is air conditioned and remainds approximately 70-74 degrees year round. Our home is in a wonderful edge of town peice of property that is easy to access from the main highway and far enough from neighbors to be very peaceful. There is a subdivision with nice sidewalks with light traffic residential streets for plenty of leashed walking less than half a mile down the road. There is also a large park nearby. Plenty of exercise can be provided for pets that need it, and I love being outdoors myself. I am currently a stay at home dog and kid mom so I have plenty scheduling flexibility to accommodate things such as medications and potty training I have a fenced yard for free running and play and all of my dogs are crate trained for their safety in case it is needed either with client dogs or for another reason

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. Me and my girlfriend (also a rover sitter) currently own a pit bull, a senior lab, and a 2 year old Cane Corso. Good with all dogs including large breeds. I work full time as a land surveyor Monday through Friday. But I would be good for things such as evenings out and weekend getaways. I genuinely understand how important your pets are to your life and will treat them with the same respect and love I treat my animals.

About: I grew up on a horse ranch in Montana. I’ve taken care of all types of animals from warm and fuzzy to cool and scaly! I love them all ! I am available after 3:00 most days and am able to come play with or go for walks with your pups! I am also available for extended stays! I can look after horses, chickens, reptiles and more ! My dogs are played with and let out multiple times a day. They get fed twice a day once in the morning once at night. I can also administer medications safely as I worked in vet clinics and humane societies in the past!

About: 📢 New to the area but not new to pet care! Howdy, we’re Carrie and Chuck, and we want to use our pet care experience to give you piece of mind when you can’t be there! Carrie is the primary communicator on the Rover app, but both Carrie and Chuck are animal caretakers for drop-ins and walks. More about us: - We have 6 years experience in shelter volunteering and animal fostering. We have fostered 140 cats and dogs over the last few years! As a result, we are comfortable with dogs of any size, cats, and other small animals, and also have experience in giving insulin and other injectable, oral, and topical medicine. We also have experience in caring for a dog with megaesophagus (ME). - We both have bachelor’s degrees in Biology and work day jobs in education. - We have recently transitioned to Denton from the Houston area and are reestablishing our client base. What you can expect from us: - the highest level of care, no different from our own furry family members - high quality pictures - great communication We both work in education here in the Denton (after recently relocating here from the Houston area). Chuck has an open schedule for the summer as a teacher. Available Services: - Drop-In Visits - Dog Walking - Weekend Housesitting (Friday night through Sunday) - In most cases we are unable to be there around the clock for housesitting but can check in on pets as we would our own and can stay overnight (7PM-7AM). We believe that many pets do best in their home, so we try and keep as normal of a routine as possible while you are away!

Whether your pet loves long walks, playing with toys, or just relaxing and getting cuddles, I’ll make sure they have a fun, safe, and comfortable experience. I’ll care for your pet the same way I care for my own—with love, patience, and plenty of attention. As a recent college graduate who still works on campus, caring for my cat is already part of my daily routine. Every day I make sure she has fresh food and water, a clean litter box, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. I also spend time making sure she’s happy, comfortable, and getting the care she needs. Because pet care is already a regular part of my life, it’s easy for me to provide the same level of care, patience, and attention to other pets as if they were my own. It would be good to know if there is anything that scares your pets, certain sounds, movements, etc. It would also be nice to know of any commands/training tactics that I should be using while caring for your pet.

About: I’m a relatively new dog sitter with a years worth of prior experience in canine care between ownership and sitting. I have experience in general pet management with juvenile pets and administration of medication. I’m an extremely active individual and can surely keep up with any energetic demands of your fur baby and am eager for the opportunity to assist my fellow pet parents with an extra set of hands! I’m currently employed part time between two employers, however both establishments allow for extreme flexibility and so long as I have a decent times notice to organize my schedule for commitments it will fit seamlessly. I have 4 cats that I care for; I allot play time for mental stimulation and ensure a safe environment for my kitties by keeping a close eye on what’s accessible to them and being extremely hygienic and detail oriented. I frequently deep clean toys, water and food bowls, and litter boxes.
