About: I’ve always had a really special place in my heart for animals and feel naturally comfortable around them. My family has dogs that I help care for, and I’ve also spent a lot of time looking after dogs for friends, family, and neighbors. I also have two cats that I love dearly, so I’m very comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality, whether they’re playful, shy, energetic, or just want a calm companion. About: I have 20 years experience with bully breeds, and all the health issues that entails, but I’m open to sitting any breed (they are all good dogs!). I live at the beach, so your pup will get long beach walks and/or mountain trail hikes during the day, then sleepy downtime at night. It’s a pet paradise! Your dog will enjoy morning beach walks or trail hikes, or walks in a stroller if your pet has mobility issues. Daylight hours are spent being active, and evenings are resto-relaxo. I have a fenced and private front and backyard with fake grass for your pet to use. No stairs to navigate - single level home a block from the ocean. I previously owned a veterinary hospital and pet boarding facility, so working with dogs is a life long passion of mine. Senior pets are welcome!!! I've had San Francisco (city) customers before, but mainly Marin County residents. Pups will have loving care around the clock. I’m retired and my wife works out of the house. About: Does your furbaby need extra love and special attention while you are away? I am happy to help care for your furbabies with lots of love, adventures, and yes even training. I can ease both you and your furbaby’s anxiety by staying with them in their home and checking in with you regularly with photos and videos. Boarding your furbaby elsewhere is very stressful for them, especially considering the limited amount of care and physical activity. I will give them all the love and attention that they need and take them on adventures around the neighborhood (with your permission); it really helps to refocus and calm them down. Let's make sure your furbabies are as happy and comfortable as possible while you're away. I also provide basic training and understand common behavioral issues such as reactivity and separation anxiety. I love working with puppies, helping to socialize them and teach recall is critical at a young age. Be sure to tell me all about your pet's quirks and needs so that I can help. I have over 10 years of professional pet-care experience, plus I have cared for many types of animals. I took some time off from petsitting when I took on the full-time responsibility of caring for an elder dog. Our family’s Siberian Husky, Skye, was truly the best companion and adventure buddy. She lived a happy, active life for 16 years! She is dearly missed and will furever be with me in spirit. Now I am getting back into professional pet-care and I look forward to making many new friends, caring for your furbabies as tho they were my own. I work mostly remotely from home so I have the ability to stay with your furbaby in their home and give them the attention they need. When I am housesitting, I am also taking care of your home.
