My Shih Tzu has always received compliments on her friendly behavior and obedience training. She's allowed to roam freely in the home b/c there are no perishable items accessible to her. About: I was 13 when I got my first Pomeranian puppy. Having a Pomeranian helped teach me patience, calming down an anxious puppy, and understanding boundaries. I also have experience with more hyper breeds such as border collies. When I was 17 my brother bought home a border collie and I helped raise him a lot. I also had many lizards and hamsters. I love bonding with different animals and getting to know their unique personalities. Currently working part time. So I have plenty of time to myself. I am looking for something that makes me feel more connected with myself so I am giving rover a try :) I care for my pets by simply being gentle and trying to understand them. For example- my dog hates the broom when I am sweeping. Instead of yelling at her I put down the broom, picked her up and told her it’s okay. I set her down on my bed, gave her a biscuit, and picked up the broom. As I did this I spoke in a soft voice and told her she’s being good and that it’s okay.

About: I have been working with dogs for a lot of my life. I've owned two German Shepherds, Two Huskies and a Beagle Dachshund mix so I have dealt with a variety of different dogs. I worked for the Shelby Humane Society for almost 2 years helping animals get adopted. I put my all into caring for animals because it's something I love to do and i love dogs and cats or pretty much any animal for that matter so much so that I treat them like my own children. I'm also a certified license Advanced EMT so I have medical training under my belt for both animals and humans alike and that is another way that I will make sure your fur babies are completely safe while inside my home and in my neighborhood.

I can care for your pet in your home and drop in 2-3 times a day to feed them, walk them or let them out in your yard.
