About: Hi! My name is Milena and I’m a college student home for the summer looking to work while doing something I genuinely enjoy. I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for many different types of pets. I currently have a cat, dog, fish, snail, hamster, and a snake, so I’m very comfortable around animals with different personalities and needs. I’m responsible, patient, and attentive, and I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning, or just giving pets attention and company, I’m happy to help. I’m especially good with shy or nervous animals and I truly enjoy spending time with them. I’m currently home from college for the summer and taking phlebotomy classes from 10am–2pm on weekdays, so I’m especially available for early morning walks, drop-ins, feeding, and pet care before class. I’m also available most evenings and weekends. I enjoy starting my mornings with animals and making sure pets get attention, exercise, and care while their owners are busy or away. I always try to make pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for in their normal environment. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, medications, and each pet’s personality so they can feel relaxed while you’re away. Since I’ve cared for many different animals myself, including cats, dogs, reptiles, fish, and small pets, I understand that every animal has different needs and comfort levels. I’m patient, responsible, and will always treat your pets like my own.
About: I’ve had cats since childhood and currently have a cat of my own, so I understand how important patience, attention, and care are for pets. Even though I don’t own a dog, I’m very comfortable around them and enjoy spending time with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’m responsible, gentle, and truly love animals, and I always try to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I already care for my own cat every day. I currently work part-time and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets attention, playtime, walks, feeding, and companionship. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I understand how important trust and safety are when caring for someone’s pet. I always try to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets feel comfortable. I pay close attention to their behavior, routines, and needs, and I treat every animal with patience, kindness, and respect as if they were my own pet.

About: Your doggos would be cared for as I would want my doggie to be cared for, thats 1000% certain. It is the golden rule I live by. I’ve had experience training puppies and sitting for them for weeks! I’d love to dog sit your doggos anytime! I’m off work this summer, so I am able to dog walk/sit anytime! That being said I would be able to work with your timelines! I make sure I get the ground rules on how the pet owner would like me to do and care for the pet. I know everyone has their own preferences on how to care and handle their pets, so I would respect and honor it. If I am in their home, I would be respectful and clean as it is their home and I would be a guest.
About: I’ve raised my own dog since he was a puppy, so I know exactly what dogs need at every stage. From early morning walks to keeping them entertained and fed, it’s just part of my daily routine. I didn’t just own a dog I grew up with him. Your dog will get the same attention and care I give mine every single day. Dogs get a morning walk around 10–10:30am, then they’re free to relax in the living room or hang out in the fenced backyard. Once it cools down in the evening I take them out again around 6–7pm. During the day they have access to the backyard for potty breaks whenever they need it. Before bed there’s one last walk around 11–11:30pm so they’re settled for the night. I have a fenced backyard so dogs can roam and play safely without any worry. I own a friendly dog myself so your pup will have a buddy to hang out with. We’re in a house so there’s plenty of space to move around and get comfortable. Dogs are welcome on the furniture I want them to feel at home, not like they’re in a strange place.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Carteret
Varsha is an incredible pet sitter with a genuine passion for animals. My little pup, Sundae, absolutely loves spending time with her. We had a successful meet and greet where Varsha introduced herself to Sundae and quickly built a rapport. Throughout the visits, Varsha kept me updated with frequent communication and sent me plenty of adorable pictures. As a first-time user of Rover, I am extremely grateful for Varsha’s professionalism and dedication, which made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. Five stars!

Pinky was absolutely amazing watching my dog Chai during my wedding weekend. She went above and beyond to make sure Chai was happy, comfortable, and well cared for while we were busy enjoying our day. Pinky kept me updated with photos and messages. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter during such an important weekend. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, loving, and responsible.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
