About: Will look after your furry friends while you’re at work or away on vaca. Over 10 years experience as a dog groomer. Diligent, professional, honest, and reliable. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need a trusted sitter! My schedule is flexible and I will work to meet you and your pets’ needs. I’m available for daily walks, drop-in visits, or extended stays… Safety is priority. I have extensive knowledge of animal behavior, health, and needs. Playtime, potty breaks, feeding, and just making sure your pet is happy and comfortable are all part of my role as a sitter.
“Barbara cared for my two fur babies with multiple visits in a day including backyard playtime and a walk. I was very pleased with the her attention to detail on specific instructions and the attention she showed my Molly and Rico. I recommend her for sure.”

“Fijian was everything I could hope for in a cat sitter and MORE! She took excellent care of my babies and sent extremely detailed updates after every visit. She is an adept caretaker and I felt very comfortable leaving my cats in her very capable hands. I’ve already booked her for another weekend!”

About: For years, I’ve been trusted by friends and family to care for dogs of all sizes and personalities, whether it’s energetic puppies, strong large breeds, or mellow older dogs. I also have experience providing medicine for both dogs and cats, ensuring they get the right care when they need it most. I know how important it is to keep pets active and engaged, so I make sure every dog gets plenty of walks, playtime, and attention tailored to their needs. Being an active caregiver, I enjoy staying on the move and making sure each furry friend feels loved, safe, and happy while in my care. I currently work four days a week and have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide care and walks Monday, Wednesday through Sunday. This gives me ample time for multiple walks per day, accommodating different feeding routines, and plenty of playtime. Whether it’s sticking to a schedule or adding in extra activity, I make sure each pet gets the care and attention they need. Depending on your dog’s training and routine, I can follow your directions for crate use, provide free roam in my apartment, or stick to the setup you prefer. Since I don’t have a yard, I make sure dogs are leash trained and enjoy regular walks in my neighborhood. Walks can range anywhere from 1 to 3 miles, depending on your dog’s needs and your request. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and well-cared for in an environment that matches their routine. In your home, I would follow careful instructions with walking, feeding, and playing.

I’m comfortable with active dogs, structured walks, and sticking to routines that help dogs feel calm and secure I’m an MBA graduate student at Montclair State with night classes a couple evenings per week. My daytime schedule is flexible, so I’m able to plan walks, drop-ins, and pet care around each pet’s routine I always prioritize a calm, safe, and familiar environment for pets. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, keep routines consistent, and make sure pets feel comfortable and secure in their own space. I’m attentive during walks and drop-ins, and I treat every home with respect
About: My fiancé, Shandy, and I are extremely playful and caring people. We have had pets since a young age and know how to manage pets with social anxiety, rescued animals, animals with need of medication, etc. During our 2018 summer, my fiancé was interning at a Veterinarian clinic and her job was to feed, play, and inject/give animals their medication. If you need a pet sitter than let us know and if we’re available we will be able to give him/her the attention they need. My fiancé and I both work. Shandy works part-time so she will mostly be available but I work full-time 3-4 days a week so that’s why we work on this together. We will respect what is okay or not okay depending on each owner’s pets. For example, we can take them to dog parks if they get along with other dogs or if they don’t like being walked and only wee wee pad trained we will pick up after them.
“Ellen was fantastic with our 3 cats. We were nervous to leave them, but they were in the best hands. She checked in on time everyday and sent pictures with an update. We have one extremely shy cat and Ellen made sure to seek him out each day. We would highly recommend her to anyone and will definitely rebook with her in the future!”

“Tessa did an awesome job of keeping us informed while we were away during our trip and sending us lots if photos. Our pets seemed happy and loved on. House was in order when we returned and she went above and beyond doing somethings we didn't expect her to take care of such as taking out trash and scooping litter since it was a short trip.”

“Tina is very responsive, caring, and easy to communicate with. She made sure all the specific requests I had were taken care of perfectly. When I came home, my cats were calm and well attended to. I can finally travel without worrying about them!”

“Thank you so much, Olga, for taking amazing care of my cats. Olga stepped in to help during a last minute booking and was incredibly accommodating. She worked with my schedule and allowed me to submit additional bookings as needed.”

“Taylor was great with our cats and left detailed notes that helped put us at ease while we were gone. It was clear they took a liking to her and she took the time to play with them. I would not hesitate to book her again!”

“Michael was an amazing cat sitter to our 3 indoor boys and took care of our 1 feral lady outside! He was there everyday we were gone at the boys “dinner time” without fail! I received adorable photos of the belly rubs and even my shy guy came out for treats! That’s a testament to the animal person Michael is! When we returned home from our vacation the house was exactly how we left it and the boys had plenty of food and water. Their boxes were clean and the area was tidy. We will absolutely be using Michael’s services again!”

Thank you so much for taking such good care of my puppy during the drop-in visit! I really appreciated the updates and photos, and it gave me peace of mind knowing my puppy was in good hands. My puppy seemed happy, comfortable, and well cared for when I got back. I would definitely recommend you and look forward to booking with you again!”
Hannah is a gem. She's very easy to communicate and schedule with. She clearly loves animals and takes such for care of Pongo. She doesn't just go through the motions but puts effort and energy into spending quality time with our dog. Would recommend to anyone.

Skylar is really great sitter and our puppy was super happy with her around. Setup a meet and greet and got acquainted, she went through feeding instructions, took Maximus for a walk and made everything very easy and comfortable. Recommend her services and will repeat her again for Maximus.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
