About: Hi, I’m Kadi! I’ve spent over 10 years caring for dogs—everything from adopting a senior pup with medical needs to fostering and dog-sitting dogs of all ages and personalities. I understand how important it is for you to feel your dog is completely safe, loved, and cared for, so you can truly enjoy yourself while you're away. I work from home, so your dog will get plenty of attention (and I’ll send you lots of photos!). My husband, Jake, and I recently moved to Royal Oak from New Orleans, where we regularly dog-sat, fostered, and volunteered with a local rescue. We have two small rescue dogs—Omelette and Hollywood—who are used to visitors. Hollywood enjoys playtime but is also respectful of dogs who prefer to relax. I have particular experience caring for dogs with anxiety and provide a calm, loving space where your dog can feel safe and comfortable. My schedule is flexible, so I can accommodate extensions or adjustments as needed. I’m happy to continue any routines you have at home, including crate training, medication administration, potty training, and positive reinforcement. I typically walk dogs twice a day but adjust to each pup’s energy level and needs. For safety, dogs are never left unsupervised in my fenced backyard. In an emergency, I follow our agreed-upon plan and advocate for your dog as if they were my own. Feel free to reach out with any questions—looking forward to meeting you and your pup(s)! I work from home and have two sweet dogs of my own, so pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. Since I’m home all day, your pup will get plenty of attention, playtime, and regular potty breaks. I adjust the flow of the day to match each dog’s needs—whether that’s more activity, extra snuggles, or sticking to their usual routine. I’m also flexible with timing and happy to accommodate early mornings or late evenings if needed. I love getting to know each dog’s unique personality and preferences so I can care for them in the best way possible. I’m always nearby to offer attention, comfort, and companionship throughout the day. My goal is to create a calm, cozy, and safe environment where your dog feels right at home. To help every dog feel secure—especially at mealtimes—I feed dogs separately to avoid stress or food guarding. I also have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and never leave dogs unsupervised outside.

“Jess is absolutely my 1 and only go to for caring for my sweet baby. After such a terrible experience with my previous sitter .. jess has been a breath of fresh air. She takes amazing care of Nova! And Nova just loves her and all her friends she gets to see when she visits. Jess is patient and kind and really treats your pets as her own. Nova gets to run around and gets nap times throughout the day. Jess makes sure she addresses the needs of each dog individually and they each get the attention they need. I would 100% recommend her EVERY SINGLE TIME”

“if you are looking for someone you can trust with your dog of any age look no further. Yvette provided Zeke (3 month old French bulldog) with the best care possible. She met all of my needs for him and he had the best doggo day ever. She sent me many updates, photos and videos through out the day. He loved all the dogs that wasn’t under care and we will be definitely going back to her. Yvettes love and care for dogs is unmatched and I am happy to have found her.”

“Whitley is outstanding! One of the best experiences we've ever had. Professional, knowledgeable, communicative, attentive, gracious, and offered a strong sense of care and consideration for our dog's particulars (flight risk; older tri-pod). Highly recommended! Thank you Whitley 🙏🏻”

“Robin is great at communicating and sending updates during the day on how Molly is doing; a 5 mo SHGP is definitely a challenge and Robin is all for it! I highly recommend her to take care of your furry family member, I’ve been relying on her for day care 2 days a week with the likelihood of overnights in the future.”

“Angela and her rescue pack are great! She’s so kind, comforting, and understanding with our shy anxious rescue girl. Her boys Ernie and Jerry are a nice bonus to help socialize Gretchen with other dogs. I also appreciate Angela’s open honest and frequent communication.”

About: I have cared for dogs since our first Siberian Husky joined the family in the 1960's! Family, friends and now new friends have entrusted me to take care of their fury family members when they leave town. From puppies to seniors they are all treated as if they were my own! I will consider accepting two dogs from the same family/household, but will generally only care for one dog at a time. This is so that no dog needs to not only adjust to being away from their own home, but also have to navigate relating to another, unfamiliar animal. I have no pets in my own home at this time either. Breeds I have cared for over the years include Labrador Retrievers, Samoyeds, Pugs, Huskies, Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Miniature Schnauzers, Weimaraner's, German Shepards, Golden Retrievers, Pit Bulls, French Bulldogs, English Setters, Australian Shepards, Cocker Spaniels, Cockapoos and countless mixed breeds! I work from my home and so I am able to devote myself to any dog in my care. I take frequent work breaks and consider my care of the dogs entrusted to me as a part of my at-home work/life routine! I only care for pets in my own home. I have a nice fenced in backyard with privacy fencing on two sides and chain link on the other two sides, and the dogs seem to like the space. I do not leave dogs in the backyard on their own. I am with them if they are outside. I like to walk the dogs around my neighborhood and through the nearby park up to three times per day depending upon their energy level/physical abilities or limitations and their established routine. Any dogs that are more couch potatoes are certainly never forced to take walks. I honor where they are in terms of their breed, age and physicality! I have cared for elder dogs who have needed regular, timely medications and close observation as well as wild little puppies and everything in between! My home is kept very clean and neat to prevent my fury guests from getting into anything they should not and between visits I wash all dog bedding, towels, blankets and rugs.

“Ricky and Lindsey were so lovely. They were kind and flexible with my timing and made the entire process so easy. They treated Roxy like their own, giving her hugs and cuddles and incorporating her into their daily routine. Roxy came home smiling and exhausted. I highly recommend Ricky and Lindsey!!”

“Our first experience with Theresia was beyond expectations. We requested a meet and greet because we were unsure of a stranger watching our dogs. Theresia was extremely accommodating and we will definitely use her again!”

“Adam and his sweet family went above and beyond for my little guy when I traveled to Detroit! My sweet pup came back so happy and so sleepy so I know he had the best time! Adam was very flexible with my schedule and odd times, great at updates and sending pics, and most of all took great care of my baby for me! I will definitely be using Adam and his family again when I visit!! Highly recommend!!”

About: No dog is too rambunctious, or cat too mean for me. I've lived and grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’m also extremely good with difficult cats. My cat is a rescue that I saved. She was mean and nobody would adopt her. After learning how to help cats with behavioral problems, I was able to turn her into the most loving, cuddly cat. I also absolutely love going for walks with dogs and exploring the neighborhood. I'm comfortable with dogs of many breeds and sizes. I have experience caring for big dogs and ones smaller than my cat. I'm very easy to get along with and flexible if there are any special requests for your fur baby. I look forward to hearing from you and getting to know your fur babies. I am self employed and wanted to do some more dog walking as a nice break in my day to get some exercise and meet some sweet dogs. I have a fenced in yard and a couple parks nearby that your dog would love to explore. If there are any special spots they love to go to, I can take them there.

“My boy loved it here!! He went for a daycare day. I reached four last minute and they were able to accommodate me!! Thank you guys ? I also loved getting updates and always in communication with me as needed. I will 100% book with Lauren again. HIGHLY recommend!!”
