I've always had dogs and cats in my life and I have experience with all kinds of breeds, including pit bulls, retrievers, and terriers. I can accommodate most dogs, but I cannot board dogs who have a high prey drive. I require a Meet & Greet before your first booking. I live in a typical Detroit-area brick ranch with a fenced backyard (privacy fence against a chain link). I never leave dogs outside when I'm away from home and although the yard is fenced, I supervise and play with my guest dogs when they're outside. I've owned a Springer spaniel, two Labrador retrievers, and an American bulldog. I have experience with many breeds and can handle just about any dog. I've hosted everything from teeny little 7-pound terriers to a 150 pound Newfoundland. I no longer have a dog of my own, so dog sitting lets me be a dog mom a few days at a time. About my yard I have a typical suburban Detroit backyard - fenced on all sides with a gated driveway. I have a large deck on the back of the house and a small/medium grassy area. Although my yard is fenced, I never leave my guest dogs unattended while they're outside. My experience in administering medication I have only administered oral medication. My main job is pet sitting and walking, so your baby will receive lots of love and attention from me. Please see my schedule for availability. I ask pet parents about routines and feeding schedules. In my home, I use a baby gate to keep dogs from escaping out of open doors. My back yard is fenced and I supervise dogs when they go outside. I have a large crate for dogs who need to be crated when left alone or for dogs who are comforted by being crated. I only use a crate for dogs who use them at home. When I’m house sitting, I take a similar approach, but I also double-check the home is secure when I leave.

About: I am 23, turning 24 in March. Currently finishing up college. My part time job allows me to work from home. I enjoy being active, I'm family oriented and absolutely love animals. If I had the time my dream job would be to be a traveling veterinarian. I have had family pets that I helped care for since age 5. I have cared for others pets since age 13. In my experience I have cared for a endless list of breeds and sizes. I provide professional services and ensure your pets safety and happiness while in my care. “I would highly recommend Khadijah. She's an awesome dog sitter and caregiver for my dog Diva. As a flight attendant I'm away from home a lot. It makes me feel at ease to know that my dog is well taken care of while I'm away. As an added bonus my dog has playmates as well when she's with Khadijah. She has two dogs of her own, Willow and Foxy who get along great with Diva. I also what to add that she has a spacious home and huge backyard that's fenced in. It's a joy to watch the 3 of them run around freely with no worries. Khadijah is very knowledgeable and passionate about the care of her dogs as well as other's. Again I recommend her you you all.
