About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve had my family dog, Chutney, for over 10 years, and taking care of him is really what got me into dog sitting. I did Rover throughout college and absolutely loved it, and after taking a break during the pandemic, I’m excited to be offering my services again. Since moving to Detroit, I’ve spent the past three years dog sitting and caring for many wonderful pups. I previously worked fully remotely, and while I’m now hybrid, my schedule is still very flexible. Right now, I’m only in the office once a week for a couple of hours, and starting in July 2026 I’ll be in the office three days a week. The good news is that I get to choose my own hours, so I won’t be gone all day just a couple hours! This flexibility allows me to continue giving pets plenty of attention, companionship, walks, and care throughout the day. Pet care fits pretty easily into my daily routine because I currently work a hybrid schedule and only go into the office once a week for a couple of hours. Starting in July 2026, my schedule will shift to three in-office days per week, but I’ll still only need to be there for a couple of hours each day. I also live with my partner, who is great with dogs and typically home during the day since he works evenings, so there’s usually someone around to keep your dog company and cared for while I’m briefly in the office. This gives us plenty of flexibility to follow your dog’s routine, provide lots of attention, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for throughout the day. I also make time for at least two walks a day, along with regular check-ins, feeding, and anything else your dog may need to feel happy and comfortable. I make it a priority to make sure your dog always feels safe and comfortable. I treat every dog as if they were my own. I give plenty of extra cuddles, attention, and quality time so they feel secure and loved while you’re away. You can trust that your pet will be in good hands.

“Jordan was an excellent companion to my puppy, Honey Bear. When we first met, he made sure to ask all the right questions so he was clear on her unique needs and preferences as far as feeding, treats, walks and playtime. This made me feel comfortable that I was leaving her in good hands. Then he sent photos during the day where I could see Honey Bear having a great time playing with her favorite toys and getting some nice snuggles. When Jordan came to pick up Honey the second morning she was so excited to see him again, which was really cute and reassuring. You can tell that he is a real dog lover and a genuinely kind person who enjoys caring for pups. On top of that Jordan was extremely communicative and went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule with pickups and drop offs. His willingness to be flexible with timing really helped alleviate what could have been added stress during a few hectic work days for me. Overall Jordan is a wonderful choice and I highly recommend him as a dog sitter. If I ever return to work for Detroit I will call him again!”

About: I grew up with large breeds and have had dogs my entire life. I lived with all different kinds of foster dogs and now have one 5 year old dog at home. My husband and I are teachers who are home full time in the summer, so we can provide a lot of attention and love to any dog that comes to stay with us! I am a teacher who is home for the summer. I get up early to take a morning walk and avoid the summer heat and take another evening walk. I love taking my dog to the beach to swim throughout the week, as well. I live in a home with a yard (unfenced) and a 5 year old poodle mix to keep your pup company. Lots of walks and time spent snuggling will help keep your dog happy when they stay with me.

About: I have been with pets since I was 5 years old and I have had different breeds of dog in different phases of my life. Caring for a pet is the most natural thing that I could do. I am basically from India and I have not been able to get a pet after I reached Canada which is like almost 2 years. So when I heard about Rover, I just jumped at the opportunity to relive my old life that I was yearning for. Dogs are my favourite but I can take care of cats as well. We have a spacious apartment so your pets can enjoy running around. The neighbourhood is also a safe place. I proudly call myself a dog mom because thats how I care for the universe’s best species.

About: Ever since I was very young, I've always been super compassionate about animals. I don't remember a time of not having a furry family member. I currently have 3 dogs and 2 bunnies. I consider my animals my kids, and I will care for yours just as they're mine! 💖 I'm a stay at home human and dog mom, so I have all kinds of time to meet any special needs your pup may need. I have a completely fenced yard, baby gates and crates if they need time to themselves. Also 3 dogs, myself and my 15 year old daughter for them to play and cuddle with.

About: I’m have 2 cats stormy and kitty . They and both indoors but I gave her then option to go outside too. They are very friendly. We do feed other cats bin our neighbors I have 4 bowel of water and food on my porch for them. Always have loved animals and had a caring connection with them. In addition to taking care of our family pets, I have also helped care for family and friends furry friends I work part time and I’m able to do house visits or add a walk in the park in my schedule it no problem. I have a fence yard and I have my own cat kitty she friendly and spray and up to date on shots. I have an area extra bedroom for play time or naps.Our sofa is open for naps too.

SARAHR06725, https://www.rover.com/sit/sarahr06725***** i have had dogs my whole life, and currently have two of my own. i love playing with them but also training. both have completed intermediate obedience at a training facility in the states. we both have lots of fun teaching them new, mostly useless, tricks. i work from home so am always around to supervise and interact with the pets. i only work part time hours so lots of time for walks in the park and playing games in the yard. any visiting dogs are treated like family. all animals in the house receive the structure they need with plenty of love, snuggles and mental/physical exercise. i love animals and giving them everything they need to thrive and feel comfortable. i will only be accepting one families dogs at a time so everyone will get plenty of individual attention.
