“Kurt was an absolute life saver this holiday season. He dropped in a day early to meet my cat, Goose, and go over his needs/schedule. Goose is very social and I was worried about leaving him for 8 days, but Kurt sent pictures and videos daily and it was clear that Goose loved his company. Kurt was also flexible when my flight was delayed and I needed to book a last minute drop in. I am so grateful for Kurt and would recommend him to anyone looking for a pet sitter in the area!”

About: I have cared for several work friend's pets, including someone who had 7 medium-large dogs with a laundry list of special accommodations and medications needed I am an Army Veteran going to college, this leaves my afternoons and weekends completely free. I can alter the rest of my schedule to accommodate your pet I have a dog and cat of my own, so I have experience with the difference in the needs and behaviors of the two most common household pets. I care for their physical as well as their mental health to the best of my ability. I strive to care for all animals the same way.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience and genuine passion for animals of all sizes and personalities. I have cared for many dogs of various breeds & sizes throughout my life and currently have three dogs and two cats at home. Besides cats & dogs, I have also cared for rabbits, guinea pigs, parakeets, hamsters, chickens, goats, and sheep! For the past two years, I have also volunteered at the SPCA in Winchester, gaining hands-on experience with pets of all ages, temperaments, and care needs. I am confident working with playful puppies, senior pets, and everyone in between. I am patient, outgoing, and truly love providing animals with the care and attention they deserve. I am a student at Virginia Tech, so I have availability here and there throughout the day! I am also available most evenings/nights for longer periods of time. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort above all else. At my home, pets enjoy a fully fenced-in backyard for safe outdoor play, a walkable neighborhood for daily walks and fresh air, and a spacious deck that’s perfect for lounging and sunbathing. Inside, animals are treated like family in a clean, pet-friendly space with constant attention and care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always respect their routines and space, ensuring their pets feel secure, loved, and well cared for in their own environment.
“Jessica was a great sitter for my cat Momo. Communication with her was easy, given that we did have some changes to both of our schedules. She made sure my cat had food, water, treats and also some fresh air in the backyard. She sent me pictures every time she visited. She was on time every visit. I highly recommend Jessica to anyone who is looking for a pet sitter.”

“One of my cats got injured right before a trip out of town, and Emma boarded him at her house while we were away. She gave him his medicine twice a day and sent pictures and information every day. She spent time cuddling him and he even got to make a little doggy friend. I wasn't sure how my cat would do around the other animals, so Emma was very thoughtful about how and who she introduced him to, and made sure he had his own private space so he could feel comfortable. She even got him some treats :)”
“Erin was wonderful with our cat Ruby!! She provided regular updates with photos and became fast friends with our shy girl. She also let us know when she was scratching a chair and had a hairball so we could confirm whether things were normal. I would definitely recommend her as a cat sitter :-).”
