“Samantha is so kind! She was wonderful with our 3 GSD's for 5 nights, 6 days. She cared for them and played with them and took wonderful care of them and our home. We will definitely be using her again and again and again! I highly recommend her!”

“This is the second time we have used Jessica and we are always very assured. She is super communicative and very accommodating. She understands what it’s like to leave pets in the care of others and for us, she has experience with Frenchies which have to be cared for in a certain way. We didn’t leave our frenchies tjis trip but we would have no issue doing so. She’s amazing!”

“Payton did an amazing job taking care of our dogs. We were kept updated the whole time with messages and photos, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. It was clear there was genuine care and extra effort put into everything, even taking the dogs on hikes. I would absolutely love to book with Payton again and can’t recommend enough.”

“Kimberly was so awesome! She watched my doggies for a weekend getaway. She was very responsive and easy going. She took awesome care of the dogs, and my home. Would't hesitate to book with her again and again!”
“Outstanding! Mark sets the gold standard, then goes above and beyond! We were so nervous leaving our fur babies. Yet Mark immediately eased our concerns. He's so thorough, you can tell he really loves the animals, not just a job. When I forgot about the treat schedule, he gladly included it. I loved so much his regular messages with all the photos. I could see he did everything to perfection! He took time to love on and pet our babies. He didn't have to, but that extra touch brought our babies comfort when we couldn't be home. His messages even included relevant concern for the husband and myself while we were on vacation. He not only took excellent care of our fur babies, but also our home. You could not have any better sitter than Mark!”

“Our girls are usually really excited to see us when we have a sitter but they weren’t all that concerned when we returned after having Heather as a sitter which tells us they got every possible need met! They both older and a little clingy so we were hoping mostly for companionship and it looks like Heather did a fantastic job!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old. Ive always had pets in the house and I have always had responsibilities to take care of them. Currently I have a 14 year old husky/heeler mix so dont worry if your babies are loud and rowdy I can handle it. I also have a sweet 2 year old corgi who is basically a toddler and a trex combined. I also have two adorable cats who I love. I have house Sat for family members for the past 5-6 years and love getting to spend time with their animals. I currently work full time but I leave early (usually around 6:30 am) and get back early (usually about 4:00pm) but weekends im all yours!! So there is plenty of time for play! I will follow your schedule as needed. I know how important it is to keep things at home as stable as possible when it comes to your pets! But dont worry there will be lots of love and playtime!!
“Haydyn was wonderful with my anxious goldendoodle, Poppy, who's scared of most people and doesn't like being petted. She let Poppy warm up at her own pace and kept me updated throughout the weekend. Poppy soon became comfortable and cuddly with Haydyn, who took her for walks, played, and kept her company. Haydyn respected my home and communicated well with me. I'd love to have her watch Poppy again!”

“Ash was great. She was very thorough about getting to know our pets routines and their boundaries which is amazing! Our anxious/reactive dog was happy to cuddle up with her and she did a good job at administering all of our pets medication. She clearly cares about animals a lot and has a very gentle and calm attitude with pets. Our cat that hates and gets aggressive with everyone but us seemed to hit it off with her which is awesome! I would definitely recommend Ash!”

“As a pet sitter myself, I can be picky regarding who I pick to watch my animals. I am grateful to have found Monica and glad she was available during the busy holiday season. She great care of the animals, including my roommates pup. She sent pictures which made us feel great and took care of the home. We appreciate the care that was put into looking after the furbabies. Will use Monica again!”

“Madisyn did a wonderful job taking care of our 2 dogs while we were out of town for a few days. She stayed at our home and was very respectful and trustworthy. Our dogs were really well taken care of and she was very communicative. We would love to use her again in the future. Definitely recommend!”

About: Reliable, caring, and always ready for fetch and all the cuddles! I'll treat your dog like family and keep you updated every step of the way.🦴🐶🐾 I currently have a very flexible schedule so I will be able to care for and tend to your furry friend as much as needed. I'm a reliable, compassionate pet lover who understands that pets are family. I enjoy spending time with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels, whether that means going for walks, playing fetch, or simply providing companionship and lots of affection in the comfort of their home environment.
About: I have hands on experience caring for dogs through walking, in home sitting, while following routines that help our doggos feel safe. What sets me apart is my reliability, clear communication, and the care I take to understand each dog's individual needs, personality, and comfort level rather than treating visits as rushed check-ins. I intentionally structure my daily and weekly routine around pet care, allowing flexibility for walks, check-ins, and in home sitting while ensuring each dog receives reliable, unrushed attention. When caring for pets in a clients home, I treat both the pet and the space with the same respect I would want someone to show mine. I take time to learn each dog's routine, preferences, and any special instructions so they feel comfortable and secure while away. Safety is always my top priority. I double check doors, gates, leashes, and feeding instructions, and I stay attentive during walks and potty breaks to avoid stressful or unsafe situations. I keep a calm, consistent energy so pets feel at ease, especially those who experience anxiety when their owners are away. I'm mindful of your home environment as well, I keep things clean, follow house rules closely, and leave your space just as I found it (or better). I provide regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing and can relax knowing they're in good hands. My goal is simple: for your pet to feel safe, cared for, and happy - and for you to feel confident trusting me in your home.
About: I’ve been pet sitting for all types of animals since I was 7 years old. I’ve pet sat dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. My partner and I currently foster dogs as well. We’ve fostered puppies and senior dogs so we are both very well equipped to nurture any type of pup you have. We have given medication to our fosters and can accommodate your dog in any way you need us to. I’m currently a nanny. I drop the kids off at 8:40 AM to school and come home to spend the day with the dogs until I need to pick the kids up from school at 3:40. I am usually off work at 5:30 (no later) but by then my partner William is home with the dogs. At most, your pup will be along for two hours in the morning. We treat every animal like they are our own child. We will make sure to care for your pet in any specific way you need. All pets are allowed on our furniture, along with sleeping in bed with us. We are a very loving home who understands how vulnerable it is to leave you baby with someone else. We will make sure to send photos, video, and updates on your pet. If you want, you can also FaceTime us at any point to see how your pet is doing.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 2,500 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Bingham Canyon. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Bingham Canyon walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Bingham Canyon maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bingham Canyon choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
