This was our first time using Jessica, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we met her, we felt comfortable and knew our dogs were in good hands. She was incredibly communicative throughout our trip and never made me feel like I was being a worry wart. She understood that leaving your pets with someone new can be stressful and was always kind, responsive, and reassuring. Jessica took excellent care of our dogs, especially our French Bulldog, who requires extra attention in the Utah heat. She clearly took her responsibilities seriously, made sure they had plenty of potty and outdoor breaks, cleaned up after them, and paid close attention to their needs. She also took great care of our home, brought in our packages, and left everything just as we had hoped. We truly lucked out finding Jessica. We would absolutely book with her again without hesitation and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy Rover sitter.

About: I have hands on experience caring for dogs through walking, in home sitting, while following routines that help our doggos feel safe. What sets me apart is my reliability, clear communication, and the care I take to understand each dog's individual needs, personality, and comfort level rather than treating visits as rushed check-ins. I intentionally structure my daily and weekly routine around pet care, allowing flexibility for walks, check-ins, and in home sitting while ensuring each dog receives reliable, unrushed attention. When caring for pets in a clients home, I treat both the pet and the space with the same respect I would want someone to show mine. I take time to learn each dog's routine, preferences, and any special instructions so they feel comfortable and secure while away. Safety is always my top priority. I double check doors, gates, leashes, and feeding instructions, and I stay attentive during walks and potty breaks to avoid stressful or unsafe situations. I keep a calm, consistent energy so pets feel at ease, especially those who experience anxiety when their owners are away. I'm mindful of your home environment as well, I keep things clean, follow house rules closely, and leave your space just as I found it (or better). I provide regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing and can relax knowing they're in good hands. My goal is simple: for your pet to feel safe, cared for, and happy - and for you to feel confident trusting me in your home.

Haydyn was wonderful with my anxious goldendoodle, Poppy, who's scared of most people and doesn't like being petted. She let Poppy warm up at her own pace and kept me updated throughout the weekend. Poppy soon became comfortable and cuddly with Haydyn, who took her for walks, played, and kept her company. Haydyn respected my home and communicated well with me. I'd love to have her watch Poppy again!

About: I've been pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors since I was 12 years old, giving me over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and other pets. I'm comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, administering basic medications when needed, and making sure pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has a different personality and routine, so I always take the time to learn what makes them comfortable. I treat every pet like they're my own and pride myself on being dependable, attentive, and easy to communicate with. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, and I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate time and attention to the pets I care for. Whether it's feeding, walks, playtime, drop-in visits, or providing companionship, I make sure each pet receives consistent care and attention. I am organized, reliable, and committed to keeping pets comfortable and maintaining their normal routines while their owners are away. When caring for pets, I prioritize safety, routine, and making them feel comfortable. In my clients' homes, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any specific needs or preferences. For boarding, I live in a pet-friendly apartment with my dog and two cats. Because I have resident pets, I would want to ensure that any boarding dog is comfortable around other animals and that everyone is introduced safely. My apartment community also has a dog park and plenty of areas for walks and exercise. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their routine and personality to help them feel safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away.

About: I’ve had animals my entire life and absolutely love dogs. I have two little dogs myself that are my children. I know and understand the struggle of finding someone you can trust with your furry babies and making sure they get the love and care they deserve. I’m experienced with senior animals, medications, puppies, and have an affinity for my little dogs! I work 100% remote and am home everyday. Potty breaks, snuggles, playtime are already a part of my routine with my two little gals and your pup will fit in perfectly! Dogs are like children to me. They sleep with me, are with me constantly and their needs are prioritized. I love animals more than people most of the time :-) I personally love tons of pictures of my pets when I’m away and would love to give back that peace of mind

She also made sure that our plants were watered and kept alive. Everything looks wonderful. We definitely would use MaCee again to take care of our fur babies!! Thank you MaCee!

FAQs for House Sitting - Bingham Canyon

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 2,499 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Bingham Canyon. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Bingham Canyon walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Bingham Canyon maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bingham Canyon choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bingham Canyon. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
