“Brenda & Alvin M. were great. We have always boarded Remy in the past but she seems to get very stressed. She likes a lot of attention and cuddles. We appreciated the pictures and updates daily. Remy seemed very comfortable with them. We would definitely use them again.”

“Ramanda and her family took incredible care of Wrigley when we were out of town. They sent pictures throughout his stay and he was active and loved on the entire time. He had an unexpected medical emergency while in their care and they acted swiftly to get him the attention he needed to save his life. We are so appreciative of their care and support!”
“Maria was absolutely wonderful. She took such great care of my pup, Baylee, and kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. It was clear from the start that she’s attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely loves what she does. My dog came home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Maria again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

“Our pups had a great time! Great communication and we felt so comfortable leaving our pups in their care! We would definitely board with Emily and Kajae again! Thanks so much for the care you provided our fur babies!!”

“Caitlin did a beautiful job with Murphy, our rescue boy. He gets nervous when strangers come over so we brought him to her house. She had a nice room for him to relax, a big fenced yard in the country and a calm, positive demeanor. He has not been sat by anyone but family, but we will definitely be taking Murphy to her again. She even gave us fresh-caught Alaskan salmon to bring to our daughter, who had just had a baby. Hoping she becomes a regular part of Murphy's life! We highly recommend her.”

About: I've taken care of animals of all kinds since I was 10. I am currently accepting to take of dogs in my home whether they doggy daycare, overnight stay, extended overnights, and dog walking/feeding. I love to give dogs all kinds of cuddles and love. I understand that dogs speak to us though actions in which I am very empathetic with. I will be patient, kind amd caring showing your dog(s) lots of attention and love. I have excellent references. I'm currently working part time, so while I'm gone I can crate your dog but will be back within 4 hours for a potty break! Im available between 5pm- 7pm for drop offs and pick ups Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday from 9am -5pm I have a home where your dog can roam or I can crate them if need be. I will keep them on a leash if when we go outside and I don't live far from a very large dog park where I can take your dog to play catch if you are comfortable with that of course.
“Trudy was an excellent sitter for our dog. She proactively contacted us with questions to make sure she understood Oreos habits and needs. She was great with communication on how his stay was going and flexible when we had a slight modification in our set pickup time”

“It was our first time using Rover and Yuliya made sure all of our questions were answered and took good care of our Coco. It was great to get the daily updates and photos!”

“This was my first time using Laura and my pups first time staying away from us. Laura allowed us to do a meet and greet before boarding, so we felt super comfortable with it all. She shared a lot of pictures during their stay, which was great, as I could clearly see they were healthy, happy and content! Laura herself is a professional at what she does, along with her daughters, who obviously enjoy dogs. I highly recommend her!”

“Derek and his family were wonderful caregivers for our dog Zoey for 10 days. Zoey came home happy and healthy and it was apparent she adores Derek! We are so grateful and will use Derek again in the future.”

“Awesome experience with Brit and Matt. Thank you so much for letting Monroe take care of you for a weekend. I can tell she had a great time because she is exhausted.”

“Brenda was AMAZING! She was so great with my dog and was fully prepared. I would go back to her next trip without a doubt! Went over the top with taking pictures and making a magnet for my fridge with her top picture:)”

“Kyle did an amazing job taking care of our dog. He has a gentle way with dogs and is very competent. He listened to the needs of our dog and took great care of our pup. He even sent updates and pictures. We will definitely go back again!”
“She took the best care of Mabel! We received lots of photos and she was flexible on pick up time when we needed to adjust. Would absolutely recommend and will be bringing our sweet pup back!”

“Kelsey and family were amazing! Auggie became part of their family for the time I was away and that’s all I could have wished for. She took the time for daily updates, which eased my dog mama heart. Auggie was pooped when we got home, but I know he’s going to miss their family! I better find another place to vacation so he can visit again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Would book again!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
