“We couldn't have asked for better care for our pets! Sandra did an outstanding job, ensuring they were comfortable and happy while we were away. Our meet-and-greet was fantastic, and her warm, professional approach immediately put our family at ease. Throughout the entire time, she kept us updated with regular messages, giving us peace of mind knowing our pets were in great hands. Highly recommend her services.”

“Karlee was amazing with our cat. She was incredibly easy to get a hold of and was very informative about her visits. She gave us piece of mind knowing our cat was getting not only the medication he needed but also the love and attention we knew he seeks. :)”
“Kelly is just amazing. This was our first time leaving the crew for this extended period of time. She took amazing care of everyone, She even got our mail and put our trash out on garbage days as well as watered my garden. We trust Kelly implicitly and she is our go to choice anytime we need help with the "crew". Thank you Kelly!”

“Megan did a couple drop-ins for my dog Milo and I have no complaints! She was willing to swing by over the weekend to meet him before she dropped in which was much appreciated. She is friendly and provides photos and great reports of how Milo is doing when she drops in. I hate to leave him home for so long but it gives me some peace of mind knowing that he has a new buddy to come visit him during the day. :)”

“First time using Erin! Her communication, pictures and attention to details made the trip so much easier!! Already have her booked for next time we’re gone!! Thank you!!”

“Morgan was fantastic! I was out of town and the person I had to watch my dog fell through and she went over and took care of Zoie. She took pictures and let me know everything went great. I will definitely be asking Morgan to help out again.”
“Alicia was great!!! She was very communicative, sent lots of photos and updates as well as timely. We would trust her in our home again to care for our babies anytime!!! Highly recommend her for both dogs and cats. Our cat is rather skiddish but warmed up to Alicia right away which says a lot about her <3”

“As always… Andrea was absolutely amazing!! Even with extremely short notice, she was eager to help! I’m so grateful to have found someone that loves my puppers like her own 💕💕”

“Great communication - wonderful about picture taking! Would have Mary back again any time!! She was even great about getting the boys to go potty in the rain - and that is not an easy task.”
“First time Rover user and I picked Lauren based on her 5-star reviews. Lauren was great, she is super nice, she paid attention to some dog specific things, and most importantly the dogs loved her. She is highly recommended and I definitely will be using her again in the future.”

“I just love April and how she takes care of my cat! I’m so glad I found her. She has cats also so she always tries different fun things with my cat. I like that. And if I didn’t want April all to myself I would tell everyone to hire her for their pets…! She is great!”

“Emma was amazing. We however dropped the ball this time with a few things and she was so understanding. The pups loved her. Her communication was awesome. Will definitely use her again if she can put up with us 🤦🏻♀️🤣”

I have cared for many pets throughout my life, I am alert to any issues, and I am strong for those heavy pullers on a leash
“Erin was amazing! She was super responsive, bonded immediately with our two cats, and also kept an eye on our home... even shoveling our driveway while we were away. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I have grown up around dogs. I look after my neighbors dogs when they have a sporting event or vacation. I let their dog outside to go to the bathroom and when they are done I play with them for a little bit. I currently have three dogs, a black lab mix, a yellow lab mix and a papillon-jack russel. The papillon is my own and care for him everyday. I walk him, play with him and feed him. My schedule is open, so I am available when you need me to watch your pet. I am available any time of the day . My clients home normally have a fenced in yard and I do play with them so that they will get plenty of exercise. I can crate your pet if needed.

About: Hello, Pet Parents. My name is Cory, and I'm going to tell you a bit about myself! I've always been involved with animals in my life and have had many pets! I've had 3 dogs, mice, hamsters, and even a frog! Not only have I had pets, but I've had past experiences with pets and pet owners, and here are some as follows! ————————————————————— Experience: Worked for an adoption center where I took care of dogs and cats. Dog walking Pet sitting Many animal based classes Currently working at a board and train facility Training/Fostering a soon to be police dog that will be stationed at a middle school and helping with tracking cases ————————————————————— If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask! I'm currently working part time so I'll have plenty of time to take care of your fuzzy little friends whenever needed! I'll always talk to you about openings in my schedule that fit with yours! I have a couple pets, a Sheprador which is a German Shepherd and Labrador mix named George, and a hamster named Baba. I feed my dog George twice a day making sure to let him outside right after, I regularly brush him because he just doesn't stop shedding, I wash him every other month so he doesn't get stinky, give him all of his medication for his allergies, and just giving him constant attention such as walks! Baba gets fed once a day with a healthy balance of veggies, fruits, seeds, and original food. I clean his cage every 1 to 2 weeks depending how it looks and/or if it stinks, and finally I regularly take him out of his cage to pet him and let him run around in his ball! George and Baba get along haha! Plus a new member being Chunk a little lab puppy!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
