I am neither a "cat person" or a "dog person", I simply love all animals (except for spiders, that's where I have to draw the line). Currently, my pets include two cats and three dogs- black lab/Pitbull (7y/o), German shorthair pointer (5y/o), and a German shepherd (1y/o). In the past, I have also cared for our previous pets such as, 3 cows, 2 riding horses, 5 dogs at once in the same house, as well as birds. About: My love for animals goes well back to when I was 4 or 5 and I was in charge of letting our neighbors dog out while they were on vk. (my mom was really there ;)) I always loved the 2 cats we had I'm sure but my love started growing for all animals when I took on that letting the neighbors pets out. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life! I grew up on a large animal farm where we had bison for 20 years. I went to college at msu Mankato for animal science. In 2016 I started working at a boarding kennel and ever since I have found my life passion of working with dogs and cats. I have 4 dogs of my own on a hobby farm. I have a one acre lot that is fenced in. I do have a large yard and an unfinished basement Incase it rains we play down stairs. Depending on how much they eat and drink I try to do potty breaks every 2 hours if needed. If they are bed snugglers I would allow them to cuddle with me in bed. If they are kennel trained I would honor that as well. I will be able to fit your schedule such as feeding times, play times and potty breaks. I am also flexible with time as well. I currently work from home. Working from home allows me to be with the dogs during the day and allows for frequent potty breaks as well as attention. I can also allow play time outside on my breaks. I two friendly dogs for your dog to play with. I have a fenced in yard that keep my high entertained dogs entertained. If needed I can do 1:1 time and put my dogs away so your fur baby gets some 1:1 attention for a hour or so :)
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. As an adult I had my own two little furbabies (Lincoln and Jackson) for 12 and a half years until they went over the rainbow bridge in 2024. My little guys were a shorkie and a schnoodle so have experience with smaller breeds. They also had ailments so am experienced in administering pill medication (no injections). Looking forward to meeting your furbaby! I have a very flexible schedule during the weekdays and am available most weekends. I'm not available to have furry friends at my home but would be happy to stay with them in their favorite environment. PLEASE NOTE: I am able to house sit at your house full time but the price per night may increase if additional time and/or walks are requested during the day. Please reach out to discuss. About: My love for animals goes well back to when I was 4 or 5 and I was in charge of letting our neighbors dog out while they were on vk. (my mom was really there ;)) I always loved the 2 cats we had I'm sure but my love started growing for all animals when I took on that letting the neighbors pets out. Through highschool I volunteered when I could at the animal shelter a couple cities over and dreamed about owning my own training and boarding facility when I graduated. Well life pushed me into college and a career and 10 plus years later here I am with a degree I don't want a career in.... I'm going back to my dreams and would love for your dogs to be a part of the start of it! I have 3 fur babies of my own a cat and two dogs! All three rescues and loving life! Any questions feel free to reach out! Cant wait to meet everyone! I currently work Monday through Friday 8 to 5 as an intake coordinator for a hospital from home. My love is animals so all my spare time goes to fostering and volunteering for ruffstart along with taking care of others furbabies. All pets deserve lots of love but discipline when needed. I believe in positive reinforcement but some pups need a little more guidance and a shorter leash than others.. I plan on following owners directions and requests but offer guidance if wanted or needed. If all you want me to do is let your fur babies out and spoil them rotten I would absolutely love doing that! For boarding and doggy daycare I have an older resident dog so we can only take laid back submissive dogs for now. We do habe the capability to separate if she needs a break. We have a big Shepard mix that loves to play with everyone at only 3 years old!
