About: I've raised 2 puppies who spent their whole life with me. I've adopted 1 rescue and 1 senior. They have had health issues (particularly the rescue and senior) so I'm familiar with some of the early and intermediate signs. We are now at a point in our lives where we want to still spend time with dogs, but we aren't looking for the 24/7 commitment. So we would like to host your furry baby for a night or a weekend and give him all the joy of a good friendship without the kennel experience of a dog hotel. We will be taking on pet care Friday thru Sunday. We may be able to support an emergency during the week, but since we both work full time, that would mean I would need to work from home for a day (which is pawsible with notice). However, it would not be our preferred schedule. We want to spend time with your dogs playing and relaxing - not just leaving them in an unfamiliar space while we are at the office. We are looking for day or overnight services on the weekends when we are free and planning to be home. We would expect you to bring enough food and medication to last their expected stay plus 1 day (in case of unforeseen circumstances). Then leave the rest to us. We will give regular bathroom breaks and play times (no yard), much love and pets and be vigilant about your recommended food/medicine. We do not look forward to creating your animal. So we expect at least one of us (husband or wife) to be home at all times and we expect your dog to be housebroken.
About: I always help my best friend and coworkers with their pets whenever they need. I care so much about pets as much as other human beings. I enjoy working with pets on my days off. I am a Nurse working part time at the hospital. I have a 12 lb poodle at home I have fence around my house. It is safe for them to play in the yard with me. I can give them shower if they need and walk them, play with them
About: Hi, nice to meet you! As a fellow pet parent to a 7 year old German Shepherd mix and an 11 year old cat, I know how much peace of mind it brings to find someone you can truly trust. With over 10 years of pet-sitting experience, my goal is to become your pet’s (second) best friend and make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away! I care for pets of every shape, size, and life stage! Whether you have an energetic puppy or kitten, a sweet senior who needs gentle care, or a three-legged companion with unique needs, I’m happy to adapt to their individual needs. I also have a soft spot for pets who are anxious, timid, or reactive and need a little extra patience. I’m comfortable following detailed routines, administering medications, and giving every pet the time, space, and attention they deserve. My dog occasionally joins me on sits when everyone is comfortable around other dogs, but she absolutely doesn’t have to come along! I always have care arranged for her at home, so I can accommodate whatever setup works best for your pets. Want to check out my reviews? ⭐ This Rover profile is new because I’m expanding my services across multiple regions in Oregon, but I’m happy to share my primary Rover profile so you can read my 5 star reviews and feedback from previous clients! I’d love to meet you and your furry family members and become someone you can count on whenever you need an extra hand ❤️ I’m currently taking a step back from full-time teaching to focus on substitute teaching, tutoring, and pet sitting! This gives me a more flexible schedule, allowing me to plan ahead and make sure your pets get all the attention, love, and consistency they deserve. Whether you have an energetic dog who loves long walks or hikes, a senior pet who needs medication, or a cozy cat who just wants some company, I’ll treat your pets like mine and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to be more than just a sitter. I want to be a reliable sitter you can count on, and be your pet’s second best friend! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I take the time to get to know each pet and follow your instructions carefully, from feeding schedules and medications to walks, playtime, and their usual routines. I’m especially comfortable caring for anxious, timid, or reactive pets and understand the importance of patience, reassurance, and giving them space when they need it. Whether I’m caring for your pets in your home or mine, I want them to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages throughout the stay, so you can relax knowing your furry family members are in good hands!
“My dog had a great time with Cameron and her dog Bo. I was updated daily on the fun they were having. She treated my dog like part of the family. We will definitely use Cameron in the future.”

“Alysha took amazing care of Woody, and he got lots of love and exercise while staying with her. The text updates were great and very reassuring to hear our boy was doing well. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bethel
Julia was wonderful from start to finish. She was professional, communicative, and on time for everything, which made handing off our pup completely stress-free. Our dog had a great time running around her large fenced yard and came home happy and tired. We especially appreciated how understanding Julia was when our schedule changed and we ended up picking him up later than planned. She was gracious and flexible, and it was clear she genuinely cares about the dogs in her care. We'll absolutely be booking with Julia again!

Best sitter ever, I felt not only confident but happily satisfied that my pup was enjoying herself running around the yard and playing knowing that Destiny was looking after my little pup. She kept me well informed, communicated well and took a bunch of great photos of my girl and even printed some of them on Halloween stickers!! 10/10

This was my first time using Rover and Helena and Chris made it the best experience possible. I had some concerns with leaving my high energy dog with someone else for a few days, but I felt immediately relieved after meeting Helena and Chris. They were super excited to spend time with my boy and made sure to spoil him with play and enrichment the whole time. Loved the pictures they sent, and will definitely be booking with them again in the future!

Claire is a wonderful sitter. She's highly professional and communicative. I appreciated her updates, feedback, and tips for the future. The updates made it clear my pup was well loved and cared for and had developed a special bond with Claire's husband. Claire was flexible about extending my girl's stay when my plans changed due to a family emergency. I recommend her highly.

Can’t say enough good things about Remington! She was just fantastic, took Fluff for me last minute and then I got delayed picking her up and she found a solution for me. She sent lots of pics and kept me updated. Remington is reliable, responsive and her home felt like a warm and safe place for my little gal to lodge. Thank you Remington! 💗

This is the second time that we used Susie. The first time was just overnight, but this was over a week and she was amazing! She was in constant communication with us and sent photos every day. Bowser was very happy to see us but equally excited to want to stay with Susie! We will continue to use Susie whenever we need someone to puppy sit!

Dez is an amazing pet sitter! I got regular updates about my pup and felt extremely at ease knowing she was well taken care of. All questions were answered promptly and Kibou had a blast on her little vacation wtih Dez. I would absolutely trust Dez to watch any pets any time! :)

10 stars! Elizabeth has a great love for dogs. Mochi was in the best care with her. She took him in like he was her own. She made sure he had so much fun with so many outings, doggy play dates, and snuggles. She had great communication throughout. We highly recommend her and will definitely reach out to her again in the future.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Bethel home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Bethel.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Bethel sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
