Like many other sitters, I grew up with dogs and I have been dog-sitting for friends and family for many years. But it has been my experience raising my dog Nova that has given me the most insight into how to care for a dog, and I bring those insights into all of my dog-sitting experiences now. My goal with every dog I take in is to make him or her feel as comfortable as possible in a new place and to feel seen and understood as much as possible. My hope is that my house will feel like a second home to your dog and that they will enjoy their stay despite the stress of not being with their person.

Schedule
I work from home full-time, so in addition to normal walking and feeding times, I am able to spend time around your dog to make sure they are comfortable and happy. This includes outings to the yard every couple of hours, treats during the day (with your approval of course!), and as many good pats and scratches as they like.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide a safe, clean, and fun environment for dogs during their stay. I have a fenced-in yard and live near the river path in Eugene for fun walks. I am also able to take your dog to the dog park once a day in addition to normal walks and outside time.
Pets
A typical day
I start mornings off with a little time in the backyard for my dog and others to do their business, sniff around, and perhaps play if they like. Once inside, they’ll get their breakfast in separate parts of the hoouse. After an hour or so, we'll set out for a 10-20 minute walk around my street or through the nearby park. During the day, I let your dog out in my backyard every 2-3 hours, and in the evening, I will take them either on a longer walk (20 minutes +) or to the dog park for some play time depending on your preference.
