About: My family is big on rescuing animals, so as long as I can remember I’ve always been surrounded by all types of animals! Officially I have been caring for dogs since I was 8, this was around when I rescued my first dog, Buddy, a Brussels Griffon. My mother owns a lot of property where she has four dogs, goats, a pig, and many cats. I watch the house and care for the animals while she’s away. More frequently, I care for my Fathers dog, a blue short haired pit-bull named Shadow, as well as my ferret I have had for 5 years, Karma. I am also comfortable with light grooming (brushing), bathing, cleaning up messes, and assistance with medication to help you and your furry friend! I’m currently working part-time so I will have plenty of time to cater to your companions. My work schedule is usually more full during holidays like Christmas and Valentine’s day, but I am very flexible and will always work to help benefit you and your pets! I can perform and educate myself on any practices desired for your pets comfort. Unfortunately, I am currently unable to dog sit in my home.

About: i have been watching dogs since i was 16 friends, family, and church family members have relied and trusted in me to watch their pets. I work part-time, so I’m mostly free during the day and most evenings. I’m just unavailable Sunday until 8 PM, Thursday nights 7–9, and Monday/Friday evenings. I’m super flexible otherwise and happy to fit pet care into my schedule! I don’t take pets in my home, but I’m totally happy to stay in yours! I stick to their routine, make sure they get lots of love, walks, playtime, and keep everything clean and comfy.

About: Hello! My name is Alyssa it’s such a pleasure to meet you! ☺️ I came to rover because I wanted to try something new and hopefully meet new friends and help their animals! I am a nurse and I also love waitressing on the side. My time has recently opened up which is why I’m trying this place out! I’ve raised cats my entire life and I’ve been raising German Shepherds for the last 2-3 years. I’m experienced with caring for sick animals as my first German Shepherd was special needs and so my 10 year old cat named Nico. I’m comfortable giving medication and I know many tricks to administering it to those who like to spit it out haha! I’m experienced handling working breed dogs and love training them! I’ve also been told many times I’m a cat whisperer and seem to win over even the most introverted cats 🤣 Having the ability to care for others and animals is my biggest accomplishment and blessing! I look forward to hopefully meet with you soon!! My schedule has been recently freed up so I’ve been prioritizing training my dog and doing self care! Scheduling is currently very flexible for me and I’ll update here when things change! As you may have guessed my life is pretty crazy busy 🤣🤣 but I do thrive off of the busy schedule and love being productive with my time! When it comes to my shepherd and cats, a consistent routine is always something I always create around my schedule! Routine is very important for pets and they can be stressed without it! Feeding, nap, play, and bedtime I always strive to keep consistent within a reasonable time frame. This is also what i strive for when caring for someone else’s pets as a primary way to keep stress to a minimum for them. When it comes to working breed dogs like mine, I like to allow around two hours daily of walking, training, and play to fulfill their psychological and physical needs. When I am caring for another person’s animal, I also love to help out in other ways such as basic chores around the house during down time! Cleaning is very therapeutic for me and I always love to help out when able to! However I do respect any and all boundaries on whatever you’re comfortable or not comfortable with!

About: I know how to take care of small dogs from <10lb to 80 lb to adult dogs. I know how to deal with anxious dogs that need more attention. I’m currently in school but I will have plenty of time to play with your dog after school hours. I’m available 3-9 on weekdays and 8-9 on weekends I will make sure all needs of the dog are met before I leave and make sure to give them everything they need while I’m there.

About: I have had a dog pretty much my entire life. Since I was around 10 years old, I have learned to take more responsibility of my pets but most of my skills come from adulthood when I got a dog just for me. I fell in love with senior dogs and took in a 9 year old pitty with arthritis. He ended up with lymphoma but I was advocating for this pup every step of the way whether it was allergies or more serious conditions. I now own a 7 year old pitty who loves getting into anything and everything so I know about chaos dogs too and I am prepared to deal with whatever they throw at me. I currently work part time about 28 hours a week and Tuesday is usually my shorter day where I will have more time to do some sitting or dog walks in the afternoon. I am also available most weekends pretty much all day. I usually finish work and have some down time in the evening that I could do a quick check in if needed. I have experience with crating animals. I also know some skills on the leash that may be helpful for walks. I am familiar with toxic food for dogs and I am attentive to making sure your pet isn't getting into anything they shouldn't whether that be in the house or on a walk.

About: I will make sure your pet has enough food and water, bathroom breaks, walks, and attention that they deserve while they’re away from you. They are family so I treat them like family. I really love animals and unfortunately my brother is allergic so I don’t get to have any of my own but petting sitting and walking will be a way I can still get that enjoyment without putting family at risk:) I currently work remotely so I am flexible to be able to watch anyday of the week. That being said I will still be able to walk and give them frequent bathroom breaks as well as giving them play time throughout the day. Their well being is my number one priority I would prefer to come to your home as it would be easier for you and the pet to be in the comfort of their own home.

I am very active and love to go for runs and walks daily, and I would love to bring a furry friend with me! I can accommodate your schedule and can wake up early or stay up late in order to make sure your dog gets all their energy out! I’m only offering walks as of now, considering one of my dogs is not very friendly and the other is very old, but I am very familiar with training puppies and caring for older pups as well, as 3 of my dogs have crossed the rainbow bridge <3

I am an assistant manager at a local food establishment with a very flexible schedule. I own a ton of plants and succulents and am always willing to water your plants if needed. I'm a detail-oriented college student at TCNJ who loves all animals and breeds! I have a flexible work schedule and never work earlier than 11:30am or later than 10:30pm. I am off most days of the week and never work more than 7 consecutive hours at a time. My average shift is 5 hours long. I owned a hedgehog which I had for 3 years. Although I do not own any dogs or cats myself, I have 4 years of experience in pet-sitting a variety of animals (anything from guinea pigs to hissing cockroaches) and get along with almost every animal. I have looked after puppies, older dogs, and cats all in the same home. I love all breeds of dogs and cats and big dogs don't bother me!
