“Jessica did amazing with our dog Molly! She left extensive and detailed notes each day about the walk. I loved receiving multiple photos each day. It gave us good peace of mind knowing Molly was being taken care of someone we could trust. We will definitely use her again in the future!”

About: I've taken care of my family's dogs since I was a child and find so much enjoyment in caring for animals. I treat every dog like they are my own, giving them love, attention, and care. I will take the time to build trust while also learning every dog's own personal habits and routines. I will ensure that your dog has safety and happiness while being in my care. I am a military spouse who is new to the area and has plenty of time available to watch your pet. I am available during the daytime, Monday through Friday. During every drop-in visit or walk, I'll follow your pet's routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, exercise, and any specific instructions you provide. After each visit, I'll send updates with photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.
About: I have two dogs of my own that have taught me so much. Both of mine have reactive tendencies, so I am no stranger to dogs that need a little extra patience. I have spent many hours in training with my pups, so if you’re looking for someone to help reinforce some skills at home, I can do that! One of my dogs is also epileptic, so I have experience with complex medical needs as well. I have spent the past few months volunteering at a local dog shelter twice a week and I have genuinely loved spending time with the dogs and getting to know them and watch them blossom and find furever homes. I’m looking forward to spending even more time with some incredible furry friends! I currently do not work, so I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule. I’m open to one time sits/walks or something recurring! Overnights are not currently an option for me as I have my own pups to care for. I am looking for jobs at your home (or out an about); I do not offer in-my-home care at this time. But I can come over and spend time with your pet(s) while you’re at work or on date-night, stop in for walks or feeds/potty breaks, or take your dog on an outing like a hike or a trip to downtown! I’m flexible and open to whatever you and your pet need.

I work part time for the summer but it is very flexible so I will, in my best abilities make most days / times work!! Once the school year starts back up I am a full time collage student but I will still make dates / times work :) I am more than willing to come over multiple times a day to keep your furry friend entertained, I am willing to spend nights as well!! I have watched a verity of dogs, ranging from very energetic that needs multiple hours of play a day to dogs that don’t really want to be bothered. Anything your animal prefers I will provide :)
“Mary Ann is extremely dependable and demonstrates her compassion for the time spent with Dundee. I appreciate her letting me know not just the time she has spent, but also any things she has taken notice of while walking Dundee. She is amazing with Dundee.”

About: I have been studying and taken care of animals my whole life. My future career is being a vet. I can't wait to meet your pets and you! I'm working a part-time job. I just finished school and I believe this would be a great opportunity for me to having a better understanding animals better for becoming a vet. I have a fence yard, a lot a open space and a big park near my house. Your animals will be safe with me. And will have a lot of fun with me.

“Our dogs absolutely loved their time with Anne. You can tell that she's a true dog lover and cares about them as if they were her own. We plan on using her on a weekly basis -- she is that good.”

“Chloe has been a lifesaver!! She sends us detailed messages and cute pictures of our dog, Buddy, from each and every visit. It is very clear she is an animal person and trustworthy in her patience and loving interactions. Thank you so much!”
About: Hi there! 🐾 With over 10 years of equine handling experience and many years of dog and pet sitting, I’ve learned that great pet care goes beyond simply being present, it’s about being observant, consistent, and reliable. I take pride in providing calm, attentive, and compassionate care tailored to each animal’s unique needs, whether they’re energetic, shy, senior, or somewhere in between. I’m very mindful of routines, body language, and individual personalities, and I believe patience and consistency make all the difference in helping pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I value clear, open communication and always make it a priority to keep owners informed and at ease. From daily visits to extended stays, my goal is to provide a dependable, low-stress experience for both pets and their people. I treat every animal with the same care and respect I would my own, and I’d be honored to care for your pets and farm animals alike. Rates are not set in stone, I am happy to work with you to ensure your pet gets the care they deserve. I work part-time, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule throughout the week and on weekends. This flexibility gives me the ability to provide consistent, attentive care, accommodate a variety of routines, and spend meaningful, unhurried time with your pets. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very mindful of both the animals and the space they live in. I approach each visit with a safety-first mindset, taking care to secure doors, gates, and feeding areas, and to follow all instructions exactly as given. I’m attentive to subtle changes in behavior or environment and respond calmly and responsibly if anything seems out of the ordinary. I understand the trust involved in allowing someone into your home, and I treat that responsibility with respect and professionalism. My goal is to provide a steady, reliable presence so pets remain comfortable in their familiar surroundings and owners can feel confident knowing their home and animals are in careful hands.

About: I’ve been a lifelong pet lover and have experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I have two dogs of my own and understand the importance of providing reliable, loving, and attentive care. I have experience with: 🐾 Walking and exercising dogs (small to medium-sized or well-mannered larger dogs) 🐾 Providing enrichment, playtime, and plenty of snuggles 🐾 Drop-in visits for cats and dogs, including litter box maintenance and meal routines I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away! Caring for pets is a natural part of my daily routine! Whether it’s taking my own dogs for walks, providing playtime, or giving lots of cuddles, I’m always surrounded by furry friends. I have a flexible schedule, so I can easily accommodate pet sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walks throughout the day. I prioritize keeping pets happy and comfortable, whether that means sticking to their usual routine, going on fun walks, or giving them extra attention while their owners are away. I do not have a lot of reviews on rover but I have clients that I see on a weekly basis that can provide testimonials about the care I provide to their furry family members. That being said I do see regular clients for drop ins/walks Monday-Friday so if you need someone 24/7 at your house, we probably aren’t the right fit as I’ll need to leave for a couple hours in the afternoon to complete these visits. I provide loving and reliable care for pets in their own home, where they feel most comfortable. Whether it’s a drop-in visit for feeding, playtime, or walks, I ensure that each pet’s routine is maintained as much as possible. For dog walking, I make sure they get the exercise and attention they need while being mindful of their individual energy levels. When caring for cats, I’ll make sure they’re fed, have clean litter boxes, and get some extra playtime or snuggles, depending on their personality. I always prioritize creating a calm and safe environment for pets while their owners are away, and I’m happy to provide updates with pictures and videos!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
