About: I've been around and taken care of dogs my entire life. Through my own pets along with friends and family, I've been trusted to care for a variety of dogs thru out the years. Thanks for trusting me with your best fur friend! I'm currently working PT and obtaining my yoga teacher training course so I have plenty of open availability for services whether thats dog walking or sitting. I have a fenced in yard where my own dog Cosmo plays and can certainly crate your dog if needed. I am also available for dog sitting and am comfortable with any home set up.
“Lindsey is absolutely INCREDIBLE! The love and care she shows for my pup is unmatched. She goes above and beyond to work with my schedule and is truly such a kind person. If you’re looking for someone to look after your pup in any way. No hesitation. It HAS to be Lindsey. You will not regret it!!!”

Don’t hesitate to reach out to see if I’m available last minute! Weekends are here and there but it never hurts to ask! I have a fenced in yard and live 1 mile from a dog park which I frequent. I have 2 dogs of my own who get along with others very well! If needed, crates are available. There are endless toy options for everyone! About: Through volunteering at an animal shelter and caring for the pets of friends and family, I’ve gained experience caring for animals with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I genuinely love animals and enjoy spending time with them, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I believe consistency is one of the best ways to help pets feel at ease, so I do my best to maintain their regular routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions you provide. I also keep pet parents updated with photos and messages throughout each visit, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. In addition to caring for your pet, I’m happy to help with small household tasks, such as bringing in the mail, watering plants, or tidying up after your pet, to help make your return home as smooth as possible. I look forward to meeting you and your pet and providing the same level of care and attention I’d want for my own. I’m current in school virtually in the afternoons and work part-time closing shift. My general availability is from 9am - 4:30pm. If you need an earlier or later time for walking or care we can discuss as well! “Becky was a very big help and did a great job stopping by and taking my pup for a walk around the neighborhood. She took good care of Ace and made sure to provide pictures and good feedback on how the walk went. I will be happy to have her care for my pup again!”
About: This Fur-Mommy LOVES doggies! I am a fur mommy to mixed breed loving 5 month old puppy. I’ve had many dogs in my past who have all lived to be old and grey. I have one small child who is at school during the day who also loves doggies probably the most out of all of us. . I work from home and my schedule is extremely flexible leaving plenty of time to care for the fur babies.. My yard is large enough to allow your bigger doggie to run wild and small enough that your small dog won't get lost. I've had dogs my entire life. I'm really good with giving them attention and I love to take them on walks (great exercise for me and them!) I also do great with dogs with special needs. So if your puppy needs to be carried, I'll carry them. My home is extremely dog friendly, your doggie will love coming to visit me. For those who are worried about the multiple pups in the home, I’m Happy to do a meet n greet to ensure that we all mesh well. We can also work something out if you'd rather it only be one dog around your dogs. I’m a dual careerist who works from home. Because I’m a realtor, I’ll occasionally have to pop out but I’m usually home for most of the day. My household is up early and up late. Perfect for any fur baby schedule. I’m a planner so If I’m going to be gone for the weekend or any specific day - my calendar will reflect that information. I have an extremely clean and nice size backyard. Perfect for fetch or simply running in circles. I’m a neat person. Paws will be wiped and lotion applied after playing outside, noses will get some cocoa butter balm to keep them soft, and a light brushing to keep this fur clean of debris.
“My pup Draconi loves his time with Dayonna. She truly cares and really gives him love when she picks him up. His tail wiggles when she arrives, are outta control, and he is so excited to see her. I highly recommend Dayonna. She is communicative, keeps you up to date on the walk, and sends photos, too. Don't miss an opportunity for your furbaby to get the best attention.”

I am a nurse by training and have successfully cared for sick animals at home many times. I have cared for friends dogs for many years and would be happy to love on yours! I am currently not working outside the home so I am available almost anytime. I am happy to meet yours and your pet's needs! I will be happy to follow all directions you give me for caring for your pet. I know how important that is when I leave my own pets with others!

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life, growing up with both cats and dogs and now raising two pups of my own—ages 10 and 2, both with us since they were tiny, wiggly puppies. I also would dog walk during my teenage years for my entire neighborhood. I’m all about keeping pets happy and active, whether that’s going for walks, playing outside, or giving all the belly rubs they can handle. Caring for animals is second nature to me, and I love making every pet feel right at home. After 11 years as a stay‑at‑home mom, I’m now in a new season where all of my kids are in school during the day—giving me plenty of open, flexible time to focus on pet care. I’m used to managing busy routines, staying organized, and being fully present, and now I get to put that energy into caring for other families’ pets. With a quieter house and a wide‑open daytime schedule, I’m able to give pets the attention, playtime, and companionship they deserve. I always follow each pet parent’s instructions exactly as they’re given, because every animal has their own routine, needs, and comfort zone. Whether it’s feeding, walking, medications, or house rules, I make sure everything is done just the way you prefer. I also treat your home with the same care and respect I give my own—keeping things tidy, secure, and calm so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away.
About: Everybody knows me by the dog lover. If I can take every dog in the world I would. I have 2 years of experience at a dog daycare. As well as a years with my own dog. That’s not including the animals I grew up with. I can take care of all ages from Puppy to senior. If your dog can’t go up and down flights of stairs I would suggest your place. I am currently working part time at a dog daycare. I’ll be available for boarding any day out the week. I’ll be able to do 2 dogs a night depending on the size if we board at my house. I am able to dog sitt and board at your house or mines. We will go on hikes and do daily training. I will proved Beding and blankets. As well as water and if you don’t provide the food I can. I am able to walk your dog multiple times threw out the day as well as going on long walks. I do not live in a house so I don’t have a fenced yard. Your dog will be fed 2-3 times a day depending on what you prefer. And water will be available threw out the day. No matter what your fur baby will be treated at my house the same way I would treat them at your house with love and affection.
“Laurie is a very important part of my beloved Frisbee. Her updates give me joy during my stressful days at work. We truly love her knowledge on how to ensure our pet is on the right path to a healthy balance.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
