About: I adore animals, and have sat for both dogs and cats for almost two years. I also have a dog of my own—a pitbull terrier rescue named Anne. I'm willing to adapt to your pet's routines and drop by as many times as requested, or house sit if preferred. I've walked dogs big and small, and am capable of handling some pulling on walks. I am also capable of taking care of multiple pets at once, as well as managing medications and varying dietary requirements. I am a part time college student at Germanna, so I have relatively open availability and can base my own schedule around your pets' needs. I adhere to whatever routine or house rules I am given. I can stay and play with the pets to ensure that they don't get bored out of their minds, and visit at least a few times a day. For pets that stay kenneled between visits, I especially ensure that I spend plenty of time with them while I am there so they won't be cooped up. About: I grew up in a house full of animals (dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, fish) and loved it. Less than a year after moving out to attend college I got my own puppy (Havanese). 12 years later I found myself getting a second dog after my parents and a sibling adopted her other 2 sisters (English Cream Golden Retriever puppies). We dogsit for them, and of course they come to family get-togethers, so we're used to having extra dogs in our house! In 2025 we said goodbye to our first dog, and a few months later welcomed home our foster-to-adopt puppy (chihuahua-beagle mix). The kids love playing and cuddling with dogs and understand when they need space. My full-time job offers flexibility in my schedule allowing me to work from home 3x/week. I work early hours so that I can have more time available in the afternoons & evenings to spend with family/pets.
