About: Hi! I’m Tara, a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and personalities. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, and my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have experience caring for dogs and cats through overnight stays and drop-in visits, and I’m comfortable adapting to your pet’s routine and individual needs. If your pet requires special care, medications, or extra attention, I’m happy to discuss this beforehand. My home includes two friendly small dogs, and I live in a quieter area with access to nearby parks and walking trails which is great for exercise. I’m insured, prioritize safety, and provide attentive care with regular updates so you can have peace of mind while away. Whether your pet loves playtime, walks, cuddles, or a calm environment, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member! I’m happy to help take care of your pets while you are out enjoying life or taking a family vacation. Will take care of your dogs like they are my own. I have two small bread dogs who will be in the home with me. I can overnight care if needed. My pets are super friendly with other dogs.

“Morgan is amazing!! She has been so good to my sweet girl and has accommodated last minute requests. The is such a gem and we are so thankful for her! 🫶🏼”

“Cassidy is a great sitter, my cat was lost the weekend of 10/14 (my fault) and she has been looking for him on every walk she takes my dog on. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this kindness. Absolutely recommend her.”

I currently am working full-time so shoot me a message of when you need your pet taken care of and I will get back to you as soon as possible to schedule a time to care for your fur baby! All dogs will stay on leashes at all times, and when inside I have a potty pad, plenty of toys, and space for your beloved doggy. However, a majority of the time spent with your doggy; We will be outside unless of course you have other requests. Can’t wait to meet your doggy!

About: Pets have been part of my life for as long as I can remember — I grew up with dogs, cats, bunnies, horses, even reptiles—and owned my own Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Chihuahua mix. That kind of history means I don’t need time to learn how to read animals; I already know. I petsat and am comfortable with dogs with sensitive needs too. Recently, I pet sat 3 dogs and 2 bunnies over 9 days. Whatever your dog needs — calm reassurance or an energetic playmate — I show up the same way every time: nurturing, attentive, and reliable. I am currently working remote with my marketing background, part-time on my own schedule, so I intentionally stay very flexible seven days per week for petsitting and housesitting. Your pet’s safety and comfort come first, always. I keep a close eye on body language and energy levels so I can adjust to what each needs in the moment — whether that means quiet reassurance for a nervous pup or an active outlet for a high-energy one. I follow feeding schedules, routines, and any care instructions exactly as given, and I’m attentive to details that keep a dog feeling secure in a new environment. You can trust that your dog is in steady, capable hands from drop-off to pickup.
About: I love all animals but know how to be respectful of them as well. I have worked in the vets office and know basic animal husbandry, as well as worked with daycare centers and know basic training skills. I am currently a stay at home mom and would love to help with your animals so I don't bring any more home for myself! I have 2 dogs and a cat that thinks he is a dog. I have a yard for all of them to roam as well as land for them to explore.

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love and natural connection with animals. I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and I worked at a doggie daycare for several years, one of my favorite jobs. I’m also trusted by friends and neighbors to care for their pets, whether that’s pet sitting during vacations or helping with daily walks. I truly believe pets are family and deserve love, patience, and attention. Animals have always responded well to me, and my friends even call me the “dog whisperer” because I connect with pets easily and help them feel comfortable. Your pet will be cared for with kindness, reliability, and lots of love. I’m currently working as a project manager, but business has been a bit slow lately, so I have fairly open availability at the moment. If work commitments come up, I’ll update my availability on the app accordingly. I have a few little ones at home, so I’m unable to host pets in my home, but I’m happy to care for them in their own home or take them on walks.
“I appreciate Hailey so much!! She took amazing care of my dog while I was out of town. She took him for walks and also played with him to keep him company. I would definitely recommend her to other pet owners!”

About: I come from an animal loving family and have had a wide range of pets my entire life. From dogs, to cats, to fish, and rats! We always had some sort of pet at all times and I always had a hand in caring for them all. I recently moved to the Denver area and am amazed at the amount of people who own a dog! Although I am too busy to own one myself, I am happy to care for anyone’s pet when needed! I work full time from 8 - 5 so I am available for pet care before or after work and on the weekends! I also work remotely on Fridays and am available for check ins and walks on my lunch break! Since I am renting an apartment, I am not allowed to care for pets in my own residence but I am willing to do whatever care is necessary at your pets home!
About: I lived with pets growing up...dogs, cats, reptiles, horses. I am very active, and will play or run with your animal for hours! I am licensed to administer medication to humans, and have volunteered with wild animal rescues, so I can care for sick animals too. I choose the hours I work at my job, allowing me to pick up a shift at any hour and remain flexible with last-minute changes. I won’t be boarding at my home, but I have reliable transportation and wouldn’t mind taking your dog to a dog park or nearby hiking trail. Otherwise, let me know what you and your animal feel most comfortable with! I will always respect your wishes. :) I can be flexible, if you communicate your needs with me! ;) Message me to schedule a public meeting place and time so I can get to know you and your dog, then leave from there if it feels right. I only meet in public spaces. :) You can get to know me and how I will vibe with your dog or cat before we hit the trails.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
