“I had no idea what to expect when needing someone to watch the dogs for a weekend when it was suggested to use rover. I casually passed through looking at each individuals rating, not putting a lot of thought into it. What stuck out to me the most was the number of repeat clients. Well ok, what’s about? I reached out to see about getting a booking and within 10 minutes she was open to it and at her behest she suggested I come meet her, her husband and her dog. Kind of see the lay of the land. I didn’t think much of it because I was in a time crunch and she was very accommodating to make she we could break the ice. The app said near by, it was 25 minutes away. In hindsight, I’d drive further to have her watch the dogs again. We came out met her dog, saw the house, which she was very welcoming to show me and the dogs. I knew when I left that I found my dogs future “foster family l” if I can’t take the dogs with. It’s funny because she kind of set some ground rules of how she cares for the dogs, mine are different, overly needy and affectionate. Pretty sure, by the daily pictures I got, they won her over more and bent some of the rules. I never asked her to send me pictures of keep me updated but I never had to ask. And they weren’t just proof that they were ok. They were pictures of them being lap dogs, and one of them isn’t skinny. Pictures of them being active, and even walks. Moral of the story is, if you need someone to watch your dogs, and might even treat them a little better than you might, lol, you can’t go wrong. It was like they were at camp and didn’t want to leave. I never had any concern about leaving them with her and her husband, and if I did, I never got the chance because there were always be a random update sent over. Thanks again, my dogs are home, safe and down for the count. See you next time.”

About: Ive always had dogs in my family growing up and our last was in 2014. I’ve wanted another dog ever since but I travel for work and can’t own one with my career now. Unfortunately, I’m not even sure if I would be able to get a service dog due to my lifestyle. From my own Yorkie pups, to my neighbor’s Labrador’s, I’ve gained experience with loving, training, and supporting animals through every paw-step of their life. I have experience with newborn puppies (from their mother giving birth to 8 weeks old and longer!) to the delicate sunset years of seniors. From feeding, to walking, to grooming, I can tell you that every dog is different, with various needs and wants, just like humans! Once I learn what your furbaby needs, I won’t rest until they have it. Some pets have allergies, some pets have enormous amounts of energy, but all pets need love! From the moment I wake up, pets are a part of my life! I have a remote job that allows me to spend all day with your furry friends and adhere to whatever they need. Im only one bark away when your pup is around! Trust is the first step to any animal relationship. With my 20 years of experience, I have developed a keen eye for dog body language. Adapting to their mood and knowing how to keep them safe in correlation to how they feel is my number one priority. On walks, I will be sure to check how your pup feels every step. I will approach, avoid, or distract them when the situation calls for it. During house sitting and drop-ins, I will learn your rules for the house and apply them with as much love as you do! From going outside to lounging indoors, your pet will have just as much safety and support as when you’re home! I have crate trained dogs, walked dogs leashed and non-leashed, and dealt with multiple temperaments. Whatever your dog is used to, I can easily adapt to them.
About: Aside from my own dogs that I've had my whole life, I have also watched friends' and neighbors' dogs since middle school. I've taken care of dogs of all ages and breeds, and honestly, there hasn't been a single one I have not loved. I take pride in saying that I will watch your dog as if they were my own. I have experience with dogs who have medical conditions as well, such as arthritis, seizures, restricted diets, etc. I'm currently just a stay-at-home mom of one baby boy and one fur baby boy. We love getting out of the house every day and walking, or going to the park, and we always love to have some extra company! I am a stay-at-home mom so that leaves me a lot of time to play with your fur babies and love on them. This also allows me to follow any schedules that your dog may want or need to follow. Also, my dog loves to go out back, and run around or sunbathe, very often so that means that there are very frequent potty break for your dogs as well! I have fenced yard and a super active fur baby and a toddler. My dog is always happy to run circles or play tug of war, and my toddler is always happy to throw a Frisbee or ball for any and all dogs (whether they are interested or not). As for me, I am happy to offer cuddles and companionship for your fur babies. I know it's hard to leave your dogs behind, but it is also hard for them as well. My goal is to make them feel as at home as possible. For example, dogs often do not want to eat when they miss their owners, so I try to alleviate this by adding rice or chicken to their food (with parents permission, of course).

About: I’ve been taking care of my dog for 14 years and love to spend time with my dog, I also do dog sitter with Rover for a couple years and love to do this. A dog was my first pet and I have lots of experience taking care of them. I have dogsitted many times for family and friends, and was happy to do so. I am also able to look after elderly dogs and puppy also. Now my dog just passed away last year, I am very sad but I still love to watch other dogs! Any day of the week works for me including weekends and certain holidays. Some days I do have appointments though, and am not able to work. My backyard is fully fenced off with a decent amount of room for pets to run around and do their business. There is a pet door in the basement leading to the backyard that is always accessible. Within the home there is my dog who is friendly and not hostile towards other dogs.

I am attentive to details and ensure all animals under my care get the proper attention, love, and engagement. I have a moderate size home in Green Valley Ranch in a quiet residential neighborhood (close to the airport for easy drop offs and pick ups), the place has a small not fenced out door patio. There is also a small dog friendly park right across the street from my home. I hope you will consider me to take care of your fur babies. I am experienced, compassionate, and detail oriented and will ensure a quality care stay for your pet! I am retired and am flexible for most days of the week and weekend. I am also reliable for long term boarding and can work with the owners schedule preferences. However, I only allow for pet drop off and pick ups between 7am to 9pm each day. I am the only person living in my home and have no other pets currently. I am in a very safe residential neighborhood and have a private patio as well as a park across the street where I take the dogs on leash to use the restroom 3-5 times a day. I am experienced with daily care for animals and am also able to perform specific needs for individual situations such as dietary restrictions.

About: I had a family dog for 13 years who was a shih tzu. Since she passed i’ve helped out friends, neighbors, and family members take care of their pets! I love spending time with all animals. I now even own my own kitty named Finny! I have an afternoon nanny job but would love to fill my mornings and evenings helping take care of your pets! I have a cat of my own and absolutely love animals! I have reliable transportation to make sure I can get to your babies! I will cater to you and your pets needs. I have been all over the place in terms of pet care including newborn puppies, senior pets, and those with specific diets. I was also an intern at an animal hospital a few years back, so I know a thing or two about administering medications. I am a full-time college student, so I may not always be available in the mornings, but I am willing to stay overnight and check on pets regularly. Whether your pet needs a walk, bath, brush, play or cuddles, I'm here for it! I am studying at CU Denver and my classes are mostly in the morning and mid-day. I have Fridays and Saturdays off which works great if you're to looking to take a weekend trip! I typically keep animals where I can see them to avoid accidents in the home. To ensure the safety of your pets and your house, I will make sure to lock the doors after I leave and at night time. I always pick up after myself - you'll never know I was there!

“I had no idea what to expect when needing someone to watch the dogs for a weekend when it was suggested to use rover. I casually passed through looking at each individuals rating, not putting a lot of thought into it. What stuck out to me the most was the number of repeat clients. Well ok, what’s about? I reached out to see about getting a booking and within 10 minutes she was open to it and at her behest she suggested I come meet her, her husband and her dog. Kind of see the lay of the land. I didn’t think much of it because I was in a time crunch and she was very accommodating to make she we could break the ice. The app said near by, it was 25 minutes away. In hindsight, I’d drive further to have her watch the dogs again. We came out met her dog, saw the house, which she was very welcoming to show me and the dogs. I knew when I left that I found my dogs future “foster family l” if I can’t take the dogs with. It’s funny because she kind of set some ground rules of how she cares for the dogs, mine are different, overly needy and affectionate. Pretty sure, by the daily pictures I got, they won her over more and bent some of the rules. I never asked her to send me pictures of keep me updated but I never had to ask. And they weren’t just proof that they were ok. They were pictures of them being lap dogs, and one of them isn’t skinny. Pictures of them being active, and even walks. Moral of the story is, if you need someone to watch your dogs, and might even treat them a little better than you might, lol, you can’t go wrong. It was like they were at camp and didn’t want to leave. I never had any concern about leaving them with her and her husband, and if I did, I never got the chance because there were always be a random update sent over. Thanks again, my dogs are home, safe and down for the count. See you next time.”
