About: Hi!😊 I'm Irie, a dedicated and experienced pet sitter who has had pets of all kinds since I was little. Whether it's energetic pups, senior dogs, a full time napper, or a shy guy, I treat every pet like family. I understand how important trust and communication are, and I'm committed to making sure your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. From daily walks to overnight stays, I’m here to give your pets the attention they deserve! My full-time job allows me the flexibility of working several days a week from home, coupled with the ability to choose when I have my lunch in the day. Therefore, I am free for early morning walks, mid-day potty breaks, weekend watching, and more! I believe your home should be a safe place for your animals. Personally, my dog has a doggie door for her to be able to use the restroom whenever she needs and to play outside. I feed my dog twice a day, and find that most pet parents do the same. Water is always full, toys are readily available, and walks and trips to the park are a daily routine.

“Leslie was phenomenal. She was super communicative and I felt I never had to worry about my best friend while I was away. I will absolutely be contacting Leslie again for any future rover needs I have!”

“Emily was fantastic! This was my first time using rover and she gave us peace of mind! Super communicative, friendly, spent ample time with our dog and was even willing to meet our dog and us before confirming the booking. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

“Sarah was awesome! She always made sure my dog was well taken care during her visits while I was out of town and provided me with updates on how he was doing. She went out of her way to get him some food when I had purchased the wrong bag before leaving town. Id recommend Sarah to anyone in SLC who needs a sitter!”

“We loved having Dora take care of our kitties, and they loved her too! Even our one extremely suspicious and disdainful cat made friends with her. She was extremely reliable and thoughtful, very friendly and easy to communicate with - we definitely hope to use her again!”

About: In my life I have had two dogs and a cat through which I learned all about pet care. I have work with both big and little dogs and enjoy the company of all of them. Most days I enjoy being active and love being able to take dogs on runs if it’s something they are up for. At the same time I love crafting and sitting on the couch in the company of a good pet. I am normally an early riser and workout in the morning which means I would love to add a dog walk or two during that time. I have a fenced in yard which makes it easy to let your dog roam. I also live close to a park which is a nice place to walk any dogs.

About: Me: I love all dogs and I'm particularly crazy about the big doggos, the gentle giants, the floofs. Lost my sweet boy to age and cancer two years ago and dog-sit to fill my bucket with doggo love. I've had medium-to-big dogs since I was smaller than they were; I've trained and worked with dogs on and off leash, from puppy to late-senior. Dogs in my care only go off leash with owner permission, and the dog's safety is paramount. Favorite command: "Trail" - to keep my big guy from roaming too far into the woods. The environment: I work from home full-time, which means pups get lots of companionship throughout the day. If I do have to be out of the house for an appointment, my hubby also works from home and is available for potty breaks and skritches. If we head out together, I prefer pups who are comfortable in their crates for up to 4 hours but are happy to talk to owners about any particular pup needs. Dogs are allowed on couches at our house, but only if the owner says yes - we follow your rules with your dog, to reinforce your training. Adventure and Playtime: Depending on your pup's energy levels, this might include summertime hikes and woodsy walks or runs, wintertime nordic adventures, river-trail loops, or simply couch time and neighborhood sniff-walks for the senior bois and girls. There's a friendly neighborhood pack of labs who get together for coffee every Friday (their humans get to come too), and a fenced dog park just three blocks away. I work from home full-time, which means pups get lots of companionship throughout the day. Dogsitting is part of my work (and my heart), so I block time in my work calendar to take your pup adventuring each day they're here. If I do have to be out of the house for an appointment, my hubby also works from home and is available for potty breaks and skritches. If hubs and I head out together, my goal is to keep the dog safe and as stress-free as possible. For that reason, I prefer dogs who are comfortable in their crates for 4-6 hours, but can be flexible; I am happy to talk to owners about any particular pup needs. Safety first, then fun and snuggles! We follow the owner's training rules and instructions regarding on/off-leash time, couches, food, snacks, etc. With two of us working from home, your dog is well-loved and well-cared-for. We have a two-dog limit and don't take dogs from different families unless they already know each other. (Example: You and your BFF are heading to the coast together, and want your dogs have their own getaway weekend at our house!)

About: Experienced retired school teacher offering high-quality pet services. Very responsible and extremely dependable. Ready to care for your fur babies and provide the best care while you travel/work. Since I’m retired, I am available to work all hours including weekends. I have a part time remote job, so I have flexibility to work anywhere. I also take last-minute jobs. I have many years of experience caring for animals. I've offered dog and cat sitting services for over 20 years. In fact, I am a certified dog trainer who used to volunteer for the Oregon Humane Society, rehabilitating hard-to-adopt dogs. I currently do not offer in-home services at my house.

About: I have been sitting for Rover for over a year now and it has been so much fun. I have had dogs my whole life, and now that I have moved to Oregon, and don't have any dogs, it has been such a treat (dog-pun) to spend time with other peoples' dogs. I have vast life-long experience with walking dogs, hiking with dogs, playing fetch with dogs (and also sometimes my nephew, kids like fetch too its kind of interesting), entertaining my dogs, watching tv with dogs, and getting dogs exercise. I love walking dogs and hanging out with dogs and I’m pretty sure dogs love me. I like pretzels a lot, so if you have pretzels at your house, I may consider eating some if that is okay. Dogs like pretzels, but they are salty, so I don’t give them that much, but a pretzel here and there is deserved. Apparently Rover has a word minimum and I do not know what else so I will say Dogs are pretty chill and love humans that respect them. I support humans giving dogs treats! I am very flexible during the week. I run a beer garden in Downtown Bend, so I am usually unable to start sits on weekends, but can sit through weekends if we've started during the week. I hope that makes sense. I am unable to bring dogs to stay at my house. I run a hostel here and have switched my living situation to cater towards a community enviroment. At a client's home, I am comfortable caring for the pet based on any instructions provided

About: I have grown up with dogs always by my side and have been caring for them since I was little, even when they were puppies! I've dog sat and puppy sat for friends and family many times, and I love being around pups. With my background as a nanny, nurturing and caring for others, little humans or little pups, it is apart of who I am. I bring patience, love, and attentiveness to every pet I care for! I am currently working a part time job, about to move away, so I have quite a bit of free time on my hands to play with dogs! When caring for dogs in a client's home, I follow their routine closely. Wether that's feeding times, potty breaks, naps, walks, or playtime. I want them to not feel lonely when their owners are gone!

About: I’m a physical therapy student with a lifelong love for animals—I’ve cared for my own dogs and cats for years and understand how much they mean to you. I’m energetic and active, so if your pup loves to run, I’m happy to join them for a jog or a long walk. I also offer drop-in visits for a quick play session, bathroom break, fresh water, and feeding to keep your pets happy and cared for while you’re away. Whether your pet needs exercise, companionship, or a little extra love, I’m here to make their day brighter. I currently have a very open schedule until school starts back up, and I’d love to fill it by taking your pets on walks and checking in with them to make sure they’re happy, fed, and cared for. I’m flexible and can easily work around your pet’s needs to give them consistent attention and companionship. When I visit your home or take your pet for a walk, their safety and comfort are my top priorities. I make sure all pets are secure, leashed if needed, and monitored at all times. During drop-in visits, I follow any instructions you provide for feeding, bathroom breaks, or play, and I treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. My goal is to give your pets attention, exercise, and companionship while keeping them safe and happy in their familiar environment.

Lisa & Max F.
“Lisa loves pets and animals. She has experience with geriatric animals as well as younger dogs. She gives them great care with lots of love and attention.”

Elizabeth K.
“If you're looking for someone who truly loves animals, Liz is the person to go to! They are super caring and kind, and I've seen them take such great care of my pets. Liz didn't bat an eye when my old sweet Reggie was smelly, and full of dander, she still gave him so much love and helped him get around in his old age. I always felt confident leaving Reggie with Liz because I knew that he would get all the attention and love he needed. Liz was also great about sending updates and making sure everything went smoothly. Your pets will be in great hands with Liz. Highly recommend!”

Michael F.
“Michael is my go-to pet sitter! He genuinely just loves dogs and it shows, my dogs love him, too. I highly recommend him to any dog parent!”

Aida B.
“I’ve known Aida since she was a preschooler, and even then she had this rare mix of maturity, kindness, and just the right amount of spunk. She was the kind of kid who walked into a room and you knew she was there to get things done. Over the years, she’s taken incredible care of my dogs—including two energetic mini Australian shepherds and one very needy (and very spoiled) little pup. She’s always handled them with so much love, patience, and attentiveness. I’ve trusted Aida with much responsibility, and she’s never once let me down. Watching her grow up and seeing that natural sense of care and responsibility deepen has been such a joy. She’ll continue to be my go-to pet sitter, and anyone would be lucky to have her caring for their pets.”

Jennifer G.

“Jennifer was excellent! Our fur babies were well taken care of in our absence. We will definitely be using her again!”

Logan L.
“I can’t recommend Logan enough for a dog-walking job! He’s always been a natural when it comes to caring for dogs, and I’ve seen this firsthand when he pet sat my own dog. From the moment he stepped in, it was clear how much he truly cares about animals. He treated my dog as if it were his own, always paying attention to her needs, whether it was ensuring she got enough exercise, or just giving her plenty of affection. What stands out the most is how attentive he is to every little detail—whether it’s the type of food she likes, her favorite spots to walk, or the way she likes to be pet. He’s got a real understanding of dog behavior and knows how to keep them safe and happy. His genuine love for animals shows in everything he does. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog with the utmost care, I can assure you Logan is the person for the job!”
