Personally, my dog has a doggie door for her to be able to use the restroom whenever she needs and to play outside. I feed my dog twice a day, and find that most pet parents do the same. Water is always full, toys are readily available, and walks and trips to the park are a daily routine.

About: In my life I have had two dogs and a cat through which I learned all about pet care. I have work with both big and little dogs and enjoy the company of all of them. Most days I enjoy being active and love being able to take dogs on runs if it’s something they are up for. At the same time I love crafting and sitting on the couch in the company of a good pet. I am normally an early riser and workout in the morning which means I would love to add a dog walk or two during that time. I have a fenced in yard which makes it easy to let your dog roam. I also live close to a park which is a nice place to walk any dogs.

About: Me: I love all dogs and I'm particularly crazy about the big doggos, the gentle giants, the floofs. Lost my sweet boy to age and cancer two years ago and dog-sit to fill my bucket with doggo love. I've had medium-to-big dogs since I was smaller than they were; I've trained and worked with dogs on and off leash, from puppy to late-senior. Dogs in my care only go off leash with owner permission, and the dog's safety is paramount. Favorite command: "Trail" - to keep my big guy from roaming too far into the woods. The environment: I work from home full-time, which means pups get lots of companionship throughout the day. If I do have to be out of the house for an appointment, my hubby also works from home and is available for potty breaks and skritches. If we head out together, I prefer pups who are comfortable in their crates for up to 4 hours but are happy to talk to owners about any particular pup needs. Dogs are allowed on couches at our house, but only if the owner says yes - we follow your rules with your dog, to reinforce your training. Adventure and Playtime: Depending on your pup's energy levels, this might include summertime hikes and woodsy walks or runs, wintertime nordic adventures, river-trail loops, or simply couch time and neighborhood sniff-walks for the senior bois and girls. There's a friendly neighborhood pack of labs who get together for coffee every Friday (their humans get to come too), and a fenced dog park just three blocks away. I work from home full-time, which means pups get lots of companionship throughout the day. Dogsitting is part of my work (and my heart), so I block time in my work calendar to take your pup adventuring each day they're here. If I do have to be out of the house for an appointment, my hubby also works from home and is available for potty breaks and skritches. If hubs and I head out together, my goal is to keep the dog safe and as stress-free as possible. For that reason, I prefer dogs who are comfortable in their crates for 4-6 hours, but can be flexible; I am happy to talk to owners about any particular pup needs. Safety first, then fun and snuggles! We follow the owner's training rules and instructions regarding on/off-leash time, couches, food, snacks, etc. With two of us working from home, your dog is well-loved and well-cared-for. We have a two-dog limit and don't take dogs from different families unless they already know each other. (Example: You and your BFF are heading to the coast together, and want your dogs have their own getaway weekend at our house!)

Ready to care for your fur babies and provide the best care while you travel/work. Since I’m retired, I am available to work all hours including weekends. I have a part time remote job, so I have flexibility to work anywhere. I also take last-minute jobs. I have many years of experience caring for animals. I've offered dog and cat sitting services for over 20 years. In fact, I am a certified dog trainer who used to volunteer for the Oregon Humane Society, rehabilitating hard-to-adopt dogs. I currently do not offer in-home services at my house.

About: I have been sitting for Rover for over a year now and it has been so much fun. I have had dogs my whole life, and now that I have moved to Oregon, and don't have any dogs, it has been such a treat (dog-pun) to spend time with other peoples' dogs. I have vast life-long experience with walking dogs, hiking with dogs, playing fetch with dogs (and also sometimes my nephew, kids like fetch too its kind of interesting), entertaining my dogs, watching tv with dogs, and getting dogs exercise. I love walking dogs and hanging out with dogs and I’m pretty sure dogs love me. I like pretzels a lot, so if you have pretzels at your house, I may consider eating some if that is okay. Dogs like pretzels, but they are salty, so I don’t give them that much, but a pretzel here and there is deserved. Apparently Rover has a word minimum and I do not know what else so I will say Dogs are pretty chill and love humans that respect them. I support humans giving dogs treats! I am very flexible during the week. I run a beer garden in Downtown Bend, so I am usually unable to start sits on weekends, but can sit through weekends if we've started during the week. I hope that makes sense. I am unable to bring dogs to stay at my house. I run a hostel here and have switched my living situation to cater towards a community enviroment. At a client's home, I am comfortable caring for the pet based on any instructions provided

About: I have grown up with dogs always by my side and have been caring for them since I was little, even when they were puppies! I've dog sat and puppy sat for friends and family many times, and I love being around pups. With my background as a nanny, nurturing and caring for others, little humans or little pups, it is apart of who I am. I bring patience, love, and attentiveness to every pet I care for! During drop-in visits, I follow any instructions you provide for feeding, bathroom breaks, or play, and I treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own.
