About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly can't imagine life without them. I've owned both large and medium-sized dogs over the years, so I'm very comfortable handling and walking big pups with confidence. Whether your dog loves a long adventure, a leisurely sniff-filled stroll, or just wants some extra love and attention, I'm happy to meet them where they are. I recently worked as an adoption and foster counselor at an animal shelter in St. Louis, where I had the opportunity to work with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I'm comfortable handling dogs who are dog-reactive, dog-aggressive, leash biters, or shy and fearful, and I know that every dog deserves patience, kindness, and understanding. My own two dogs are my whole world, and I know how much trust it takes to leave your best friend in someone else's care. I'll treat your pup like one of my own—with plenty of love, attention, and lots of tail wags along the way! 🏆 Certified in Fear Free Training 🏆 I currently work from home with a very flexible schedule, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. Whether they love extra walks, playtime, cuddle breaks, or simply having someone nearby, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away! At this time, I provide pet care exclusively in my clients' homes, where your pet can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I'm happy to help with everything they need, including walks, feeding, fresh water, brushing, playtime, potty breaks, medication (if needed), and, of course, lots of love and attention. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible—for both you and your furry family member!

About: Experienced pet sitter reactivating my profile due to new flexible schedule! I’ve cared for all sorts of pets, ranging from senior dogs to active puppies. I’ve had 3 dogs and 2 cats in total (including one blind + deaf senior dog). With one indoor cat currently, I really miss having dogs around! About: For as long as I can remember, dogs have been one of the greatest joys in my life. I have been an avid dog lover my entire life and have been fortunate to raise and adopt several wonderful dogs throughout my journey. Every dog I’ve had has taught me something special, and I truly believe our pets are cherished members of the family. My life has taken me from the beautiful Pacific Northwest to spending 20 years in the California desert, and now I’m excited to call the Toms River, New Jersey area home. One of my favorite things about living here is enjoying the incredible wildlife and beautiful scenery on long walks. I currently share my home with two senior rescue dogs who absolutely love their daily walks. Caring for senior dogs has given me experience with patience, gentle handling, and understanding that every dog has unique needs, routines, and personalities. Whether your pet needs a dependable sitter while you’re away, plenty of cuddles and companionship, or an enjoyable walk filled with fresh air and new sights, I’ll care for them with the same love, attention, and respect that I give my own dogs. I work remotely and can tailor my schedule around other commitments easily. It is not a problem for me to leave my work for a few hours to tend to a pets needs. I am highly responsible and will watch over your fur baby as I watch over my own. I have never had a lost pet or had a pet escape my presence. I have completed dog training courses and know how to responsibly handle a pet.

About: I've volunteered with an animal rescue for 8 years now. I know how to administer oral medicine, handle feral or very anxious furbabies, I'm fearless and very lovable. Animals are the humans most wonderful friends. I know basic dog training as well. I have open availability at this moment in time unless I have planned events. About: As a pet parent to three cats with cerebellar hypoplasia and one very energetic German Shorthaired Pointer, I understand firsthand how unique every animal’s needs can be. I spent over 10 years working part‑time as a large‑animal vet tech while balancing a corporate career, giving me extensive experience with pets of all temperaments, medical backgrounds, and special needs. I now work primarily from home, which allows me the flexibility and time to care for your pets with the same attention, patience, and love I give my own. I also owned 2 certified therapy dogs who were certified. Volunteering with Pets and helping to brighten people's day with a pet visit is important to me. I am currently working on certification for my cat Tango Mango Flip Flop. I also am a member of a pet transport group that pulls animals from high kill shelters and transports them to no kill situations. I am both a driver and a feline overnighter. I am a sponsor of 2 cats at Tabby's Place in Ringoes NJ. I also work remote most weekdays - so I have flexibility between conference calls during the day as well as availability for early morning/after work hours visits. I have owned cats for over 40 yrs and high energy German Shorthaired Pointers for 30 yrs. I like to know the temperment of a pet if taking them on a walk to ensure their comfort and safety. Do they get startled by cars or bicycles - best to avoid areas with lots of commotion. If playing in a client's yard - are there garden areas we need to ensure don't get trampled? If a dog is crated during the day, does the owner want their collar on or off when in the crate. Pet sitting is a combination of care of the pet and care of the pet's surroundings.

About: I believe what sets me apart from other pet sitters is my respect and innate love for all animals. My Mom asked me when I was 3 years old what I would like to be when I grow up and I said, "I want help children and animals.” I have not changed much since then! I am now a pediatric nurse who devotes her time to her cats, a cat colony in Howell and farm animals as well. I have been around animals my whole life, and I could not imagine life without them. I care for animals throughout the day, everyday. I use my time wisely and ensure every animal is cared for in every way no matter what. I care for my pets in my home by providing a clean, safe, loving, and stimulating environment for them. My cats are provided with fresh drinking water (spring water) throughout the day, nutritious food (wet & dry), litter boxes cleaned twice daily and clean glass doors/windows to bird/squirrel watch. My cats also sunbathe on the back patio and enjoy their cat nip as well.

About: I have had dogs my whole life and always have been around dogs. I started off with watching friends pets when they traveled. Then our family dog recently passed away and thought this would be a great idea to have dogs around again . I currently work part time from home and work 1 afternoon a week for 3 hours , and my husband is home during that time. I have a very large fenced in yard to keep your pets safe. They can be crated if wanted and have a room downstairs by my back door for them to be safe in too. My kids love helping take care of the pets and it makes it a fun loving environment for your animals!

I am a loving dog mom that obsessed with my fur baby & will treat yours as my own! I currently work a full time job but I work from home two days a week which gives me more time to watch your pet! I am available weekends & during the week can do early morning, evening, & night time drop ins/ walks. **Please be advised that I work a full time job & am in office 2.5 days a week, this can mean that some days I will not be able to spend the entire day with your pup, please message me with any questions so that we can work something out** I care for your pet in your house as you would! If you'd like, I'll crate your pet upon departure or make sure they are comfortable roaming while you are gone. I provide care in your home so that your pet is comfortable while you’re away. When walking dogs I will make sure all of the accessories you use are used, as well as any other safety precautions I think may be necessary so your fur baby stays close to me & makes it home safely (collar, leash, harness, treats, etc). I promise to make sure to give them a lot of belly rubs, play with them, & let them drool all over me! As a mom of a rescue dog, I understand the patience and gentleness certain dogs need when anxious, stressed, or overwhelmed. About: I love all animals! I am very patient and engaging with dogs and cats. I believe our pets are part of the family and I just want to make your loved one feel special and happy during the time that you are away. I cared for my beagle for a long time he has since gone to the large rainbow in the sky. I frequently dog sit and cat sit for my friends and family. I specialize in giving medication to cats and dogs. I have experience with small dogs, large dogs, picky eaters and older dogs and cats as well. Safety is priority when it comes down to it. I would not do anything that will harm or make your pet feel uncomfortable. I would love to take care of your furry friend and make them feel right at home! I am on my going back to school journey. I am currently a student at OCC and I attended classes once a week to allow myself to work part time as a house cleaner,a care taker and of course here on Rover.
