About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly can't imagine life without them. I've owned both large and medium-sized dogs over the years, so I'm very comfortable handling and walking big pups with confidence. Whether your dog loves a long adventure, a leisurely sniff-filled stroll, or just wants some extra love and attention, I'm happy to meet them where they are. I recently worked as an adoption and foster counselor at an animal shelter in St. Louis, where I had the opportunity to work with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I'm comfortable handling dogs who are dog-reactive, dog-aggressive, leash biters, or shy and fearful, and I know that every dog deserves patience, kindness, and understanding. My own two dogs are my whole world, and I know how much trust it takes to leave your best friend in someone else's care. I'll treat your pup like one of my own—with plenty of love, attention, and lots of tail wags along the way! 🏆 Certified in Fear Free Training 🏆 I currently work from home with a very flexible schedule, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. Whether they love extra walks, playtime, cuddle breaks, or simply having someone nearby, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away! At this time, I provide pet care exclusively in my clients' homes, where your pet can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I'm happy to help with everything they need, including walks, feeding, fresh water, brushing, playtime, potty breaks, medication (if needed), and, of course, lots of love and attention. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible—for both you and your furry family member!

About: I believe what sets me apart from other pet sitters is my respect and innate love for all animals. My Mom asked me when I was 3 years old what I would like to be when I grow up and I said, "I want help children and animals.” I have not changed much since then! I am now a pediatric nurse who devotes her time to her cats, a cat colony in Howell and farm animals as well. I have been around animals my whole life, and I could not imagine life without them. I care for animals throughout the day, everyday. I use my time wisely and ensure every animal is cared for in every way no matter what. I care for my pets in my home by providing a clean, safe, loving, and stimulating environment for them. My cats are provided with fresh drinking water (spring water) throughout the day, nutritious food (wet & dry), litter boxes cleaned twice daily and clean glass doors/windows to bird/squirrel watch. My cats also sunbathe on the back patio and enjoy their cat nip as well.

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and the experience I've gained caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I volunteered with ACCT Philly Animal Shelter, where I helped care for both dogs and cats with a wide range of temperaments and needs. That experience taught me how to be patient, attentive, and adaptable, whether working with energetic puppies, shy rescue dogs, or senior pets that need a little extra care and compassion. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, my family always had multiple pets, and I was known as the one who spent the most time caring for them. Whether it was feeding, walking, playing, or simply making sure they felt safe and loved, I naturally took on that role because I truly enjoy being around animals. I understand that every dog is different, and I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and needs so they feel comfortable while you're away. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or extra patience because they're a puppy or senior, I'll treat them like they're part of my own family. Pet care isn't something I fit into my routine—it's a part of my everyday life. I truly believe that when you choose to have pets, you make the time for them. The people closest to me joke that I'm a bit of a "helicopter mom" with my animals, but I think that's exactly why we have such a strong bond. I love going above and beyond to make sure my pets are happy, healthy, and enriched. On nice days, I bring my cats out onto our secure porch so they can safely enjoy fresh air and sunshine. I hide treats around the house to create little "brain games" that keep them mentally stimulated, stay on top of their grooming and hygiene, and make sure each of my pets gets one-on-one attention every day. I think it's important that every animal feels loved as an individual, not just as part of the group. That same level of care is what I bring to every pet I look after. Whether it's sticking to their normal routine, making time for extra play, or simply giving them companionship while you're away, I'll care for them with the same dedication I give my own. I believe the best pet care starts with understanding both the pet's needs and the owner's expectations. I'm also a strong advocate for respecting boundaries—both yours and your pet's. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your furry family member can feel nerve-racking. My goal is to make that experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Whether you prefer frequent updates, lots of photos, detailed visit summaries, or specific instructions on how you'd like your pet cared for, I'm happy to accommodate your preferences.

About: As a pet parent to three cats with cerebellar hypoplasia and one very energetic German Shorthaired Pointer, I understand firsthand how unique every animal’s needs can be. I spent over 10 years working part‑time as a large‑animal vet tech while balancing a corporate career, giving me extensive experience with pets of all temperaments, medical backgrounds, and special needs. I now work primarily from home, which allows me the flexibility and time to care for your pets with the same attention, patience, and love I give my own. I also owned 2 certified therapy dogs who were certified. Volunteering with Pets and helping to brighten people's day with a pet visit is important to me. I am currently working on certification for my cat Tango Mango Flip Flop. I also am a member of a pet transport group that pulls animals from high kill shelters and transports them to no kill situations. I am both a driver and a feline overnighter. I am a sponsor of 2 cats at Tabby's Place in Ringoes NJ. I also work remote most weekdays - so I have flexibility between conference calls during the day as well as availability for early morning/after work hours visits. I have owned cats for over 40 yrs and high energy German Shorthaired Pointers for 30 yrs. I like to know the temperment of a pet if taking them on a walk to ensure their comfort and safety. Do they get startled by cars or bicycles - best to avoid areas with lots of commotion. If playing in a client's yard - are there garden areas we need to ensure don't get trampled? If a dog is crated during the day, does the owner want their collar on or off when in the crate. Pet sitting is a combination of care of the pet and care of the pet's surroundings.

Emily was fantastic! She was wonderfully communicative throughout the entire process from when we first contacted her for a meet and greet, all the way til the last visit ended. She not only read all our lengthy instructions and brutally honest descriptions of all 3 of our pups, but retained all the info on them, as well. Our pups loved her sweet demeanor, and the attention she gave each of them. She was super punctual and trustworthy. Will definitely be using her again while she's available and not at school!

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them truly comes naturally to me. I've worked with dogs of all personalities - from high energy pups that love long walks to more laid-back or senior dogs who need patience and extra love. I'm comfortable administering medications, including oral medications and injections, and always do so with care to keep pets calm and stress-free. I pay close attention to each pet's routine, behavior, and comfort so they feel safe and happy while you're away. My goal is always to make your pet feel like they're with family, not just a sitter. Caring for pets is part of my everyday life, not just something I do on the side. I build my daily routine around the pets I'm caring for, making sure they get the attention, walks, and care they need throughout the day. I'm consistent, dependable, and always make time to stick to each pet's normal routine so they feel comfortable and happy. I care for pets in their home just like you would - keeping their routine consistent, giving them lots of attention, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I take the time to understand each pet's needs and personality so they feel at ease while you're away. I'm respectful of your home, keep things clean, and always send updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: As a lifelong animal lover, dog mom to my energetic 2-year-old Golden Retriever, Boomer, and mom of three active kids, caring for others comes naturally to me. Our home and lifestyle are very active, so I’m comfortable handling dogs with lots of energy, big personalities, and different needs. I have experience with pets both big and small and understand how important it is to keep them safe, exercised, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Whether your pet needs long walks, playtime, cuddles, check-ins, or dependable in-home care, I treat every animal like part of the family and care for them with patience, attention, and genuine love. My schedule is very flexible thanks to my career in real estate, which allows me to adjust my day around client and pet care needs. I’m available for morning, midday, evening, and weekend walks or drop-ins, and I can often accommodate last-minute requests. Because I create my own schedule, I’m able to provide reliable, attentive care and plenty of time and attention for your pets. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. As both a dog owner and mom, I understand how important trust and communication are when someone is caring for a member of your family. About: Growing up in an animal loving home, I have had the responsibility of taking care of dogs, cats, fish, hermit crabs, birds, turtles, mice, Guinea pigs, and an iguana. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, brush, clean, bathe, and play with their animals. I treat them as if they were my own and as if they were human. I currently work Monday to Friday 8-4:30pm and I am home on weekends. I am able to walk, feed, play, and follow potty schedules as you do in your home after work, on the weekends, or in my home for boarding. I do have owners who are ok with their dogs being in my home while I am at work but it is all about whatever you feel comfortable with! I have a fenced in yard with three house trained, dog friendly doggos. They get a walk everyday and let out as much as they need. My husband and I love to go in the backyard with them and run around or take them on adventures in the car. My dogs do sleep in our room, either in their beds or on our bed, whatever they prefer and that is the same option I will always give your dog. I can crate if needed/requested. Wally and Reed are fed three small meals a day, once in the morning, afternoon, and evening, but I know not everyone’s food schedule is this way. All feedings are separated from your dogs. My older dog has allergies and is given allergy medication daily as well as ear drops which makes me capable of following a medication routine. We also have a Furbo indoor camera that has all eyes on the dogs at all times and baby gates to separate large areas of our home just incase anything were to ever happen. There are times where I will be sitting other dogs as well as yours. All dogs are slowly introduced on leash in the backyard in a safe environment. I allow the dogs to take the time they need to settle in and get a feel and sense of smell of their surroundings. If an owner feels as though the stay will not work out, I am completely understanding. I would never want an owner or dog to ever feel uncomfortable in my home. If you are unsure of your dogs feelings toward other dogs, especially males, I always recommend a meet and greet in advance. I have never cared for a special needs animal, but I have taken care of very sick animals and making sure they are comfortable and accommodated for. If you have a special needs dog and are considering me, I would make all the accommodations necessary to make your pet feel right at home and comfortable.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Pine Beach with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Pine Beach. On Rover:

  • 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 99% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
