“This was our first stay with Christine with our new rescue, Hank. He's a big boy, a great dane, so he's not for everyone - even though he's just a gigantic couch potato. We tried boarding him in the past, but he would become depressed and stopped eating. We made Christine aware, and she worked with us to ensure the best way to deal with this if he should withdraw. However, none of that was necessary. Hank felt at home and loved right away. Sometimes, animals just know! To be honest, I began to worry he wouldn't want to come home! Christine's communication kept us updated during the course of our vacation, so we never worried at all. Thank you Christine!”

I love animals, whether it's being excited as a dog is when they meet a new friend, or befriending and making a cat comfortable with me I work from home full time, and often have down time where I came come out and check up on your pert, whether it's feeding them, or letting them stretch their legs in the backyard or during a walk while you are at work. Id treat them as my own. I know cats and dogs get curious about things that may not always be the best for them, so I try to put away or hide things that may look like trouble. During walks I avoid busy roads and other dog walkers to avoid pet confrontations. I always look around at my surroundings for vehicles or other hazards while still letting the dogs explore safely.

About: I have loved and adored cats for as long as I can remember. Since I was a baby I have had cats around me- crib included! I come from a family of animals lovers, specifically cat lovers. While my mother cared for strays and our own cats I was right by her side. My mother taught me at a very young age how to love and respect cats. She taught me how to pet them, feed and water them them, interact with them and read their cues when they did not want to be pet or held anymore. When visiting my aunts, uncles and grandma I spent time and helped care for their cats as well. When I was a teenager I helped my Mom TNR cats in our neighborhood. I have been taking care of animals since I was little but I would say for the last 10-15 years I actually did dog watching and would watch my grandmothers friends dogs at her house and would also drop in as needed. I have 3 dog babies and they are exactly that, big babies. I rescued all 3 from a rescue as puppy’s and my pitty was a runt and now is a big boy! I also have fostered dogs and helped my sister with her fosters. I can help with basic tricks but I’m not a professional and don’t claim to be! I have lived and taken care of some senior dogs. I’m comfortable with dogs from puppies to senior. I am also comfortable giving meds if needed, I haven’t had to give a dog an injection but I am willing to learn if you are willing to teach! I currently work fulltime as a unit secretary at the hospital, I can leave during my break for an hour. I work 7am-330pm and I am free most evenings after work. I also work every 3rd weekend so I am available on my off weekends. But the weekend I work I am not available because I work 7a-7p. If your pup needs some extra time to get used to people I am more then happy to come over before you book and meet them to make sure I can help make you and them as comfortable as possible. I am comfortable walking 2 big dogs at a time and 3-4 smalls dogs at a time. I don’t mind updating you as much as you need as they are your babies just as mine are to me. I put Shrek and Harry Potter on for my boys so they don’t get lonely during the day. I also make sure anything they can get into that might hurt them is away, and I make sure they have their collars on as well as double checking doors are locked. I am very accommodating so it never hurts to ask questions to see if it’s something I can help you feel more comfortable!

About: I have always owned a dog, my mom used to breed dogs so I always was around them. I have been taking care of animals since I was little but I would say for the last 10-15 years I actually did dog watching and would watch my grandmothers friends dogs at her house and would also drop in as needed. I have 3 dog babies and they are exactly that, big babies. I rescued all 3 from a rescue as puppy’s and my pitty was a runt and now is a big boy! I also have fostered dogs and helped my sister with her fosters. I can help with basic tricks but I’m not a professional and don’t claim to be! I have lived and taken care of some senior dogs. I’m comfortable with dogs from puppies to senior. I am also comfortable giving meds if needed, I haven’t had to give a dog an injection but I am willing to learn if you are willing to teach! I currently work fulltime as a unit secretary at the hospital, I can leave during my break for an hour. I work 7am-330pm and I am free most evenings after work. I also work every 3rd weekend so I am available on my off weekends. But the weekend I work I am not available because I work 7a-7p. If your pup needs some extra time to get used to people I am more then happy to come over before you book and meet them to make sure I can help make you and them as comfortable as possible. I am comfortable walking 2 big dogs at a time and 3-4 smalls dogs at a time. I don’t mind updating you as much as you need as they are your babies just as mine are to me. I put Shrek and Harry Potter on for my boys so they don’t get lonely during the day. I also make sure anything they can get into that might hurt them is away, and I make sure they have their collars on as well as double checking doors are locked. I am very accommodating so it never hurts to ask questions to see if it’s something I can help you feel more comfortable!

However, none of that was necessary. Hank felt at home and loved right away. Sometimes, animals just know! To be honest, I began to worry he wouldn't want to come home!
