“While going away with the family for a week, we decided to use a sitter for the first time. There was a lot of anxiety in making that decision, but we are sure glad we did. Corrine and her family treated our Enzo like part of their own. She also made every attempt to learn the unique nuances of his behavior and habits, in order to make him as comfortable as possible. Every day while we were away, Corrine sent pictures of Enzo playing with her cute little kids, enjoying their spacious backyard or making friends with the other canine guests. It became more and more clear that while we were enjoying our vacation, Enzo was having just as good of a time. Now when I take him out for a walk… he attempts to go to my truck hoping to go back ???. So if you want your dog on vacation while you are on vacation, Corrine and her family are the perfect option.”

“Rebecca took great care of my dog Maisie for me and pulled through at the last minute when another sitter fell through - much appreciated! She sent picture updates and made me feel totally safe.”

“Christine was a great dog sitter for our two dogs Timon and Rafika. They got along well with her dog Piper and I could tell by the pictures they were comfortable and enjoyed their time playing, snuggling and sleeping in their normal comfortable spots. Thank you so much for taking care of our fur babies. Leslie and Rich”

“Ashley just watched my 17 year old dog for 3 days. So grateful She was able to take a last minute booking. Ashley is amazing with great communication! Jack was well loved and while staying with her. Our pouch didn’t even want to come home he had such a great time. I will definitely be using Ashley again!”

“Danielle I couldn’t say enough great things about her! She really took Amigo in as another part of her family and he did so great there! I loved getting the updates and photos everyday. And she helped me last minute! And right after the holidays! I will absolutely use her again!”

“What a guy!! Great communication, super sweet, and you can tell how much he loves pups :) our dogs are a little quirky and he took them with stride and they loved their stay. Great yard, perfect window spot, and the nicest guy :) will definitely be rebooking next time we need!”

“We were hesitant about leaving Max with anyone while we took a vacation. After meeting Carol we we were reassured. She really put us at ease by sending pictures and a video of Max out for a walk. He was well taken care of and we could relax and enjoy ourselves. We will definitely book with Carol again when we need a sitter for Max. Thank you!!”

“From our first communication, Kristin was responsive and thoughtful. She offered a meet-and-greet and we took her up on it. Scout was at home immediately and I felt comfortable booking right away. We were gone for 8 days, which is a long time to leave your your little furry one. Kristin shared regular updates, often enough so that every time I thought about how she was doing, there was a picture of her face - safe and happy and well cared for. I highly recommend Kristin and would definitely ask for her help again if the whole family is traveling.”

“Ricky’s second time with Alba and she is amazing. Always feel so relaxed while he is there knowing he is in good hands. So many cute photos sent of him while we were away. She is VERY accommodating as well. ♥️”

“Gwen's house is Deacon's new home away from home. The whole family is so sweet. Gwen made sure Deacon had his medication every day and sent updates at the perfect times. I cannot say enough great things about her!”

About: Hello, me and my husband both reside in Beachwood, NJ. We have two sweet male cats, Dinky and Boo who are 13 years old & neutered. They are crate trained & do very well with dogs. I grew up around loving and taking care of animals. I have had chickens and ducks, rabbits, dogs, & cats. I have volunteered at local animal shelters & rescued as well. Animals are my passion. I was a LMT & CHHA in the state of NJ, and currently a stay-at-home mom of our two year old daughter. In my spare time, I would absolutely love to play and care for your animals. I own a home on a .25 acre lot with a spacious yard and a walking path right outside our fence! You don’t have to worry about walks or playtime, your dog will get exactly the love and attention they deserve. I currently work from 8am to 5pm. However, my husband has a full-time remote job which allows us to have constant care and attention for your animal! I have a fenced yard on a 0.25 acre lot. This allows for access to our backyard as well as a walking path around the corner.
About: Your pet gets more than a sitter they get a new best friend! ❤️ Since I work from home, they'll enjoy plenty of love, attention, playtime, cuddles, and companionship throughout the day. Photo updates are always included so you can see all the fun! Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover who worked as a vet tech many moons ago while I was in nursing school. These days, I work from home, which means your pet will get plenty of attention throughout the day. My home is also full of fellow animal lovers! We have two dogs, a bunny, a love bird and a bearded dragon, and my two kids absolutely love helping care for our furry (and scaly!) guests. I'm also a bit of a homebody, so spending time at home with animals is truly my happy place. I can't wait to welcome your pet as part of the family! Your pet's comfort and routine are my top priorities! I have a large, fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play, and I'm always happy to take dogs on leashed walks for extra exercise and enrichment. I can follow your pet's regular feeding schedule, administer medications if needed, and tailor care to their individual needs and personality. Whether they love to play, explore, or simply relax with lots of cuddles, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home.
“Great experience! Clear communication and frequent updates/ pictures. Ashley and her family were a home away from home for our dog. Will definitely be using her again!”

“Christine was great! Love getting updates of how our dogs were doing throughout their stay. They loved playing with her family and the other dogs they had staying with them. When I got there to get them she had everything cleaned and ready to go for me. Highly recommend!”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. As a stay-at-home mom with a dog of my own, your pup will be treated like a member of my family and receive plenty of attention, companionship, and love throughout the day. I provide a safe, comfortable home environment where dogs can relax, play, and feel at ease while you're away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I'll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're gone. Because I only accept a limited number of dogs at a time, each guest receives personalized care and attention. I work from home, which allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My schedule is flexible, and your dog will never be left alone. I enjoy spending time outdoors, going for walks, and making sure every pup feels comfortable and cared for while they're with me. I have a fully fenced yard with plenty of space for dogs to safely run, play, and explore. Your dog will be treated like a member of my family and will receive lots of attention, affection, and supervised outdoor time. My friendly family dog, Ollie, loves making new canine friends and helps visiting pups feel right at home. To ensure a calm and safe environment, I only accept a limited number of dogs at a time and encourage meet-and-greets before boarding. You'll also receive regular photo updates so you can feel confident your pup is happy, comfortable, and well cared for.
“Nicole and her family were amazing with my Husky. I was worried since it was the first time leaving him with someone he didn’t already know. Her yard is a doggie oasis, they were so loving and attentive and made me feel at ease leaving him while we were on vacation. I will definitely be using her again, 5 star doggie treatment!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
