What sets me apart is my experience caring for pets at every stage of life. I’ve taken care of puppies who need patience, structure, and reinforcement of basic training, energetic adult dogs who thrive on activity and routine, and senior dogs who require a gentler pace, medication awareness, and extra attentiveness. I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s specific needs, whether that means reinforcing potty training, maintaining feeding schedules, administering basic medications, or simply providing calm companionship.

This woman is so awesome with dogs. She’s like a dog whisperer. We have two Boston terriers, and sometimes they can be anxious. This was not the case this day. Cara attended to their names in a professional and caring manner and was a pleasure to interact with. She kept excellent care of our dogs in her home with her husband and small dog peanut. Great experience.!!!!!!

Cara is very caring and an excellent communicator. She has a neat, clean home & a very friendly small dog who readily accepted our 24lb cockapoo. When we returned to her home after the Meet & Greet, our pooch was happily whining & immediately laid on the floor & stretched wagging his tail. He was thoroughly happy when we retrieved him several days later, Cara even cleaned his ears when she saw he had ear discomfort, Highly recommend her.
Cara was great! Very patient with our pup. Highly recommend!

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I work fully remote from home and have flexibility in setting my schedule. This allows me to plan my day around walks, feedings, playtime, and any specific care needs your pet may have. I’m home throughout the day, so your pup won’t be left alone for long stretches and can receive consistent attention, bathroom breaks, and companionship.

Because I structure my work independently, I can easily adjust my schedule to maintain your pet’s normal routine, whether that means early morning walks, midday play sessions, or evening wind-down time. It’s important to me that pets feel comfortable, engaged, and cared for, not just supervised.
Pets
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I try to match their energy and personality. For active dogs, we’ll do neighborhood walks, play fetch or tug, and spend time exploring outside. For calmer pups, we’ll do cozy couch time, gentle play, and lots of cuddles. I also like to include enrichment like sniff games, treat puzzles, and toy time to keep them mentally stimulated. My dog Peanut is very sweet and mostly enjoys lounging and naps, so visiting pups often end up with a built-in cuddle buddy.
