“Cara is very caring and an excellent communicator. She has a neat, clean home & a very friendly small dog who readily accepted our 24lb cockapoo. When we returned to her home after the Meet & Greet, our pooch was happily whining & immediately laid on the floor & stretched wagging his tail. He was thoroughly happy when we retrieved him several days later, Cara even cleaned his ears when she saw he had ear discomfort, Highly recommend her.”

“Ashley just watched my 17 year old dog for 3 days. So grateful She was able to take a last minute booking. Ashley is amazing with great communication! Jack was well loved and while staying with her. Our pouch didn’t even want to come home he had such a great time. I will definitely be using Ashley again!”

“Corrine and her family are amazing! She has watched our now 5 month old puppy a few times since she was 2 months old. For the first time we had to leave her overnight, and I was so comfortable doing that with Corrine. She has so much fun and can’t wait until she goes back. Thank you so much! Highly recommend Corrine!”

“We really hit the jackpot with Danielle! I was hesitant at first to leave our dog Pearl with anyone for 12 days but Danielle really put our minds at ease. We were able to meet her and her dog Georgia prior to Pearls stay and we also got to see her environment. Danielle was very clean and organized and the pups had plenty of space to roam and play! We received daily updates as well as pictures of Pearl for everyday of our trip. Danielle also was very easy to get in touch with and she answered my messages with in minutes! Overall our experience was great and our Pearl was in great hands! We will be using Danielle again for all future trips!!! Thank you again for treating Pearl so well and making our trip worry free!!!! 🐶♥️”

“From our first communication, Kristin was responsive and thoughtful. She offered a meet-and-greet and we took her up on it. Scout was at home immediately and I felt comfortable booking right away. We were gone for 8 days, which is a long time to leave your your little furry one. Kristin shared regular updates, often enough so that every time I thought about how she was doing, there was a picture of her face - safe and happy and well cared for. I highly recommend Kristin and would definitely ask for her help again if the whole family is traveling.”

“Tom did an excellent job taking care of Daisy. She seemed so comfortable and happy. Tom texted pictures each day and let us know how Daisy was doing. I would definitely recommend Tom!”

“Christine was a great dog sitter for our two dogs Timon and Rafika. They got along well with her dog Piper and I could tell by the pictures they were comfortable and enjoyed their time playing, snuggling and sleeping in their normal comfortable spots. Thank you so much for taking care of our fur babies. Leslie and Rich”

“It was so nice knowing that our puppy was in good hands while we were on vacation. Alba sent daily pics and took her on several outings. I’d highly recommend Alba and already have her booked for our next trip!”

“We had a wonderful initial meet and greet with Carol. Our dog doesn't take to everyone but immediately took to Carol. We dropped our dog off feeling very good about Carol. While we were away Carol sent pictures of our dog relaxing on the couch looking very happy and healthy. When we returned our dog was obviously happy to see us. Carol said the two of them had a nice time together. I would definitely recommend Carol and we will use her again in the future when needed.”

“Christine and her family took excellent care of our Sugar and Ella while we were away. She updated us frequently with texts and pictures. As a rescue dog, Sugar is normally very tentative and shy. Sugar came home a new girl. She is even greeting strangers without fear! Ella had an issue with her ears while we were away, and Christine quickly reached out to us to treat it.They both were happy and healthy when we returned.”

“Lisa was amazing! We had to make last minute adjustments for a trip out of the country for my Ella to stay with her. She was patient and understanding. The best part is when I went to pick my girl up after not seeing her for 10 days, she was still herself. It's obvious that Lisa has a love for animals. I would recommend to anyone :)”

“Judy was fantastic with our Zoey girl! My kids loved getting regular pictures to see what their pup was up to. It was clear that Zoey was in the best hands and given lots of love, attention and cuddles. We would definitely book with Judy again and highly recommend her for anyone in need of care for their pet. Thanks so much Judy!! You and your family are awesome!!”

“Matthew and his family were great hosts to our Welsh Terrier Winnie. She is an active dog with a lot of attitude. With their two dogs Henry and Jacks they were able to keep her running, walking, and content. We know our dog had a great time when she comes home spent, worn out, and sleeping for two days. Matthew sent pictures each day and Winnie had a blast. Two thumbs up and we will gladly use Matthew again..if he'll let our 17lb beast back in their home!”

This was our first time using Matt for an overnight for our dog Gino. Gino had the absolute best time! Not only did Matt send us updates and pics which made us feel so comfortable and happy knowing he was having fun, Gino loved Matt’s dogs Jax and Henry. (And so do we!) We are so lucky to have found Matt! Thank you for taking such good care of Gino! See you next week!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
