About: I've raised 2 dogs and have taken care of friends' and co-workers' dogs for nearly 40 years. I love snuggling with and playing fetch with dogs of all ages. I don't watch much t.v. so, most of my time would be spent enjoying your friend/family member's company! I can't wait!!! I work from home most days and I typically work Monday through Friday. On the weekends I don't work, so I will be fully engrossed in play with your loved one! I live in a cute little house with a small back yard, but have a big middle school one street away where I take doggies to play and walk. There's also a really close park and tons of walking paths nearby.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life—dogs, cats, chickens, even a parrot—so caring for them is basically part of my DNA. I’m currently in school to become a dog trainer because working with animals isn’t just something I do, it’s genuinely what I love. I volunteer with a local shelter where I walk dogs, help ease kennel stress, and run playgroups for pups of all personalities. This year I even spent time volunteering at a dog shelter in Greece, which gave me hands-on experience with all kinds of temperaments and behavior quirks. About: I’ve always had dogs and cats in my life, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I’m an avid hiker and have been lucky to share many trails with amazing “trail dogs” over the years. I’ve also pet sat for coworkers, doing drop-ins multiple times a day, and I’m currently providing overnight care for a puppy—something I truly enjoy. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
