Hi there! I'm a part-time teacher, full time animal lover! I've cared for dogs big and small, from puppies to seniors. I use fear-free training and socialization strategies to make pets feel safe, confident, and loved (including with my own puppy, Phoebe). :-)

I work hard to build solid, positive relationships with your pets to keep them safe, secure, and happy! As a puppy-parent myself, I know consistency is key, so I'm always happy to help your pets practice their tricks, obedience, and being on their best behavior. I'm comfortable crating, leashing, and handling pets in their homes and neighborhoods, as well as providing play, socialization, and mental enrichment.

This was my first time using Rover because I’ve always been terrified of the idea of strangers taking care of my dog yet alone going into my home while I’m not there to care for my dog but Claire made me feel comfortable! Her kind energy, quick responses and love for animals made it easy for me to choose her. My dog absolutely loved her! I will be rebooking with Claire in the future.
Claire was wonderful. She is extremely kind and a breath of fresh air. Our dog, who has a bit of anxiety, opened up to her after the first day of her walking 2 walks.
Claire was great with our pup, giving him his medication, walks, and attention. She did great with all of his special needs and I knew he was in good hands while we were away!

I have known Claire quite well for several years. She is kind, loving, committed, responsible and strives to do the right thing, no matter the situation. That extends to the care she has given our dogs on numerous occasions we have left them with her. There are some lucky local pups and owners who will get to know her; I highly recommend Claire's services without hesitation.

Schedule
I'm a substitute teacher, meaning that I'm available evenings, weekends, school breaks, and holidays. Reach out and we'll make it work! Please note: currently, I'm only able to house-sit for up to two nights at a time. Thanks for understanding!
