“Regina did a great job taking care of our elder dog and two kittens. It was a huge relief to know that they were all being cared for and loved on while we were away from home. I got pics and updates every day and came home to three very contented and relaxed pets. It was clear they had all been very comfortable with Regina. She left my place perfectly neat, and was easy to communicate with throughout. I would highly recommend her services and will definitely be hiring her again whenever we have need and she is available.”

“We feel our pup was in great hands. Matthew sent us regular pictures and updates. Our dog can get pretty anxious with new people and routines but Matthew did great with him and when we came home our dog was as happy as ever. Thanks! ”

“Claire is the best! Her caring nature and consistent communication kept me at ease while she housesat and took care of our dog and cat for three weeks. She is active and fun and goes above and beyond. She also was flexible and accommodating when our return flight was cancelled. Bonus: She has a green thumb, so my plants were in better shape when I returned than when I left!”

“Tami had a GREAT connection with Lucy. She quickly figured out Lucy's personality, her likes/dislikes, favorite activities (going to the beach) and also the ins and outs of my apartment and building. Tami did a wonderful job of sending me pictures at least twice a day so that I could feel at peace that my girl was happy and being taken good care of.”

About: Hello! I believe, as many others do, that the therapeutic importance of animals in our lives is immeasurable. I was raised with family dogs as a child, and my appreciation for what they do for us has only increased. I have dog sat for friends who appreciate my cleanliness, reliability, and enthusiasm for pets. I seek to provide an experience that is professional AND fun for all involved. Thanks for your consideration! -Matt I am currently a student who is off for summer break so as it stands, I have ample time on weekdays and weekends to care for your pet! I am fastidious about following pet owner instructions regarding the care for their animal and use of their home. I am organized, clean, and respectful of pet owners’ personal space.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 5 years and absolutely love it. One of my regulars is my sister’s pup—my “niece”—who I’ve watched countless times while she’s away on vacation. I treat every dog like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. Daily walks are already a part of my routine, so your pup will get plenty of outdoor time and exercise. Since I work from home, I’m able to give your dog plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day—whether it’s for playtime, potty breaks, or just some extra cuddles. I’ve cared for my older sister’s dog many times while she was out of town, so I understand how important it is to make pets feel safe and loved when you're away. Whether I’m caring for your dog in my home or yours, I’ll treat them like family—paying close attention to their routines, needs, and comfort. I create a calm, clean, and secure environment where your fur baby will feel right at home.

About: Hi! My name is Sara. I am a Sf native so I know the city like the back of my hand. Also I know what dog parks are the best! I used to have 3 large dogs (my sister has 2 tiny pups) so my ability to handle different kinds of situations either with other owners or dogs is something that I have much experience in. I don't mind getting dirty or doing whatever it takes to keep dogs safe and having fun. I have been around dogs all my life and get along great with them! I always say a dog can read you better then any person! I have a daytime job that is flexible and changes weekly. It also helps me be able to take late notice requests if needed. If you are around the area and need a urgent or last minute walk I will always try to help. Reach out and if i can I will. Life happens. Please just communicate with me and I will do my best to make anything work. I have a 70 percent to full time job but hours vary so I tend to have alot of mornings open. I also am able to do late night walks if needed. I work very close to home so can be there if needed. I used to have a dog and adjusted my whole life to her especially being there more as she became older. She loved car rides and smelling everything in the park. I will adjust my environment and activities to the dogs needs. I will try to take pups days that I am off work however if I do work my time after and before is taking them for a car ride to a park or walking them to a neighborhood park. I will only do 1 dog at a time in my home so they have my undivided attention. In someone's else's home I will take care of your home and however many pets you have. I will follow directions to a T since I know how important routine is. As well as health. I will communicate to make sure that it will be good fit before we confirm.

“Anousha was absolutely wonderful in caring for our senior lab-mix, Kai, for 10 days over the holidays. We had just moved to a new home and were understandably anxious about how Kai would adjust, especially with the stairs in the new space. Anousha’s patience and attention to his needs really helped ease our worries. She was very mindful of him going up and down the steps and made sure he was comfortable and safe. Her responsive communication kept us reassured that Kai was happy and well taken care of. She also left our apartment in immaculate condition, which we greatly appreciated. We’ll definitely be booking her again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable pet sitter!”

“Matt took great care of my charming but highly-strung dog (Steve) a bunch of times. He covered all the basics (food, walks, judiciously-administered treats, updates) and more, becoming one of Steve's favorite people. Matt is a true dog-lover, a good person, and a very, very responsible sitter. If I hadn't moved out of the area, I would still absolutely rely on Matt's care and friendship for Steve. “Allie is incredible with my dog, Orly! She’s caring, attentive and trustworthy — I know Orly is in the best hands when she’s with her. Any pet parent would be lucky to have Allie care for their pup!”

Sara C.
“Sara is a loving and caring friend to both dogs and humans. She is extremely bright, responsible, and excellent at communication. All these qualities show through the relationships Sara has built with her own family dogs and how she interacts with unfamiliar dogs. Since Sara is able to have quality intimate interactions, she is also great at conflict management and has expertly de-escalated many social situations with dogs as well as humans. Sara is a joy to be around so I know she would be wonderful in a caregiving role.”

Bayview pet parents share their Rover experiences
Allie is always the best with our cat, but this time she really went above and beyond by getting him to his regular vet and to the emergency vet when he had a serious health crisis. We can’t imagine what might have happened if Allie hadn’t been keeping such a good eye on him, and we’re so grateful to her for taking such great care of him!

Very grateful to have J dog/housesit for us again. We received regular updates and clear communication. J is so thoughtful and I’m convinced the apartment looks better than when we left it! I felt very much at ease knowing that they were looking after our place.

Josh is by far our favorite pet sitter! Responsive, thoughtful and he always goes above and beyond. Josh takes the time to make sure all of our pets are cared for, cuddled and entertained. Every time Josh house sits he sends lots of updates and pictures and leaves everything cleaner than he found it. If you’re looking for someone to treat your pets with as much love as you do, Josh is your guy!

Maggie was wonderful with our dog and cat. She was perfectly communicative (we loved her updates!) and they both seemed happy and cheerful with her. We’re especially grateful that she was able to skillfully take care of our dog when she was having some G.I. troubles—Maggie took extra care with our dog’s diet and walks. Will definitely be booking her again, thank you Maggie!
Maria was awesome! Our pup, Luna, barks and lunges at other dogs on walks and will chew on our couch if the pillows aren't picked up when not in use. Maria was excellent at handling all of that. Thoughtful and attentive and reached out to us about a part of our directions that were unclear and we had forgotten to update. Would recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.

Christopher was for the second time fantastic with our golden retriever puppy. He sent pictures and responded to texts very quickly. And at the end of the day we came back to a happy puppy! We'll be booking Christopher again in the future without a second thought.

This was our first time having Sarah watch our 2 older cats, and Sarah is a fantastic sitter!! Great communication, loads of pictures and videos, and lots of pets, love and attention. Despite being normally pretty skittish, my girls were completely won over. House was also clean on our return which was not necessary but an added bonus. You would be lucky to have Sarah sit for your fur baby. We will definitely be returning customers! Thanks so much and until next time!
