About: I noticed I’m always offering to take care of everyone’s pets in my personal life (HUGE animal lover) so I figured it’s time to join Rover. I’ve taken care of other pet owners cats, dogs, and rabbits in the past. I’ve had cats, dogs, and rabbits as pets as well as hamsters, goats, ducks, and fish growing up. I grew up in a small town in Ohio and my grandparents had a farm so I was around farm animals often. I don’t currently have any pets of my own as I work 10 hour shifts 4 days a week (nurse) so I would absolutely LOVE to watch and walk your pets whenever I’m not at work! Since I work long hours and am not in a good position to get a pet of my own at this time, I would love nothing more than to share the love with your pet(s). I do have a full time job but I’m available on weekends and evenings after approximately 6:30pm (perfect time for walks!). I also have one off day during the week that rotates. I do not have any pets of my own so your pet would have my full attention (also a plus if your pet does not get along well with other pets).

About: I am a committed and dependable caregiver. I was a mom to a handicapped blue heeler named Zack. He was my life and my joy but lost his battle to cancer 3 years ago. I am missing him tremendously and would welcome the opportunity to care for your furry family member(s). I work evenings from 9p to 5a in Avon and need little sleep so my schedule is very flexible. I can accommodate most schedules while you work. I am here for you and your pet and am committed to putting both of you first. My eyes will be on your pet at all times. While you are away, they become my full responsibility and I treat them as if they are my very own. I am a protective caregiver being cognizant of my surroundings (e.g., other dogs in the neighborhood, etc). I enjoy all kinds of animals and my heart goes into my caregiving.

About: I have been around/cared for dogs all my life. I grew up with labs and currently have 2 dogs of my own! I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and will treat all of them like family. I have a full time, work from home job but am free after work from 4:30 on. I also have full availability on weekends to stop in and care for your dogs I will always make sure to be respectful of your personal space and follow all instructions given to me. I will take the time to get your know your pup and make sure they are comfortable. Aside from drop in visits I am happy to hang out and snuggle with your dog like they were my own. I love taking my dogs for long walks and will be happy to do so with yours as well.

About: Back in college, I used to dog sit for friends and neighbors, and I absolutely loved it! Whether it was tossing a ball around, going on long walks, or just keeping them company, spending time with dogs always made my day. I found real joy in caring for them and making sure they felt happy and safe while their owners were away. I’m excited to get back to doing something I enjoy while helping out fellow pet parents! I’m a licensed esthetician and would love to spend my weekends walking dogs! I recently got engaged, and since I’ve always loved being around dogs, I thought,why not do something I enjoy while saving up for the wedding? It’s the perfect way to combine my love for animals with a meaningful goal! I currently have two cats. One is an orange cat named boots and he is always full of energy and typical orange cat personality. The other one is named Pru. She is a tortoiseshell cat, and has all the attitude which means I have to play with her all the time too! fun fact, my tortoiseshell cat has 10 toes on each of her front paws!

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and feel completely at ease with both big and small breeds. What sets me apart is my hands-on experience and genuine love for keeping dogs active, happy, and comfortable especially those with higher energy or anxiety. Right now, I have an Australian Shepherd who needs a ton of attention, exercise, and mental stimulation, so I understand how important it is to provide consistent structure, patience, and lots of playtime. I’m also very familiar with helping anxious or high energy pups feel safe, calm, and cared for. Whether it’s long walks, indoor enrichment, or just helping a nervous pup settle in, I’m confident in providing the attention and support each dog needs. I treat every pet like family and tailor my care to fit their unique personality. Pet care is a big part of my everyday life! I have a dog and a cat of my own, so my daily routine already revolves around making sure they’re happy, healthy, and well cared for. I typically go on two to three walks a day with my dog, each about 0.8 to 1 mile or more and we fit in plenty of playtime, both indoors and outside, depending on the weather. My cat gets his own attention and enrichment time too, usually through interactive play or just cuddling. Because pet care is already such a consistent part of my routine, adding care for other pets fits in naturally. Whether it's boarding, drop-in visits, or walks, I plan my day around giving animals the time, attention, and consistency they need. I truly enjoy being around animals and love making sure they feel safe, loved, and well looked after just like I do with my own. I have a cat and a dog of my own, and they both need (and give!) a lot of love and attention, so I totally get how important it is to make pets feel safe, happy, and cared for. Whether I’m watching pets in my home or visiting yours, I treat every animal like they’re part of the family. At home, I make sure pets have a comfy, welcoming space where they can relax, play, and get lots of affection. I keep to their normal routine as much as possible with meals, walks, playtime, even bedtime habits so they feel right at home. If I’m caring for pets in their own home, I follow all instructions closely and try to keep things consistent to help them feel comfortable while you're away. I’ll also send updates and photos so you know they’re doing great. Bottom line: I know how much pets mean to us, and I always aim to give them the same love and attention I give my own!
