“We were in desperate need of someone we could trust to watch our anxious rescue pup, Piper, during our wedding weekend. Lana was extremely patient with both Piper, and my husband and I, even agreeing to meet us several times before the stay to get us all comfortable. She sent numerous pictures and updates, which calmed our nerves so we could fully enjoy our wedding. Thank you Lana for taking great care of Piper, we will definitely be contacting her again if we ever need someone to dog sit Piper in the future.”

2. Ethan K.

“Ethan is amazing! Hands down best person that could’ve watched Joey! He did everything possible to make sure i was comfortable throughout the day and made sure Joey had the best time under his care. He ran with Joey when he wanted to sprint, allowed him time to play outside and sniff around, made sure he ate, etc. I couldn’t be happier.”

“Maria has been one of the best cat sitters I’ve had! She’s very kind and sweet—you can tell she really cares about your pet and is mindful of any details to ensure they are cared for 💖 she shared very clear communication, updates, & the cutest photos! 2x a day. She went above and beyond what was expected, keeping my home well-maintained and SO clean. I returned from my trip feeling relaxed and at ease, with my cat happy and as if I had never left! ☺️ I highly recommend Maria’s services to anyone in need of an incredible sitter ✨ I would give 10 out of 5 stars if I could!!”

11. meghan l.

“Meghan was so sweet to my separation anxiety pom while we were at a wedding, staying in a hotel. The night before she had cried for 4 hours while we were at the rehearsal dinner and the hotel sent us a note that told us if it started again they'd require removal of our pup. So we hopped on Rover and asked Meghan to step in with just hours before she'd need to come. She saved us! And with Meghan our pup felt so at ease, she was quiet and played with with her toys (thanks for sending video! It made my husband feel okay to relax at the wedding). Yay!”

12. Quinn W.

“Quinn was fantastic. She was very responsible, and our dog, who can be a lot of work, loved her. She stayed with our dog at our home and was very neat and responsible. I highly recommend her!”

13. Emma A.
“Emma Armenti is one of those rare people who just gets animals—kind, patient, and incredibly attentive. She’s had and loved her own dogs at home and has cared for others’ pets because they’ve witnessed how loving, caring and patient she is even with some of the more difficult dogs that she’s cared for in the past. Emma goes above and beyond, not just making sure pets are safe and happy, but also keeping communication clear and thoughtful. Her warmth, responsibility, and natural love for animals make her someone I’d trust again and again.”

14. Maria T.

“Pickles had a great time with Maria. Maria was patient with Pickles who is a puppy, she kept to his schedule and kept me posted everyday. I wouldn’t hesitate to have her watch him again!”

“Linda was wonderful to work with and took amazing care of our home, 3 dogs and kitten. She was easy to communicate with. Linda was so sweet and took extra time and had great patience with our grumpy older dachshund. 5 stars!!!”

17. Katerina S.
“Kat has been the best attendant for my dogs. Paid great attention to the needs of both my senior dogs. Very patient with giving meds and grooming.”

18. Ryan O.
“I cannot recommend Ryan enough. Ryan is reliable, patient, experienced, and kind. He loves animals and can be trusted to meet pets’ special needs. My dog is a bit high strung, and Ryan always gives him extra attention and calms him. Ryan also has gained the trust of my cat, which was no easy task. She is afraid of everything and almost everyone. Having Ryan care for the pets allows me to relax when I am away because I know they are in good hands. It is a huge relief.”

19. Julia B.
“Julia is my daughter and loves dogs more then anyone I know! We had a Puggle named Maddie for 13 years and they were attached at the hip. As all parents do, I had my reservations about getting a dog thinking I would have sole responsibility of taking care of her. To my surprise, Julia stepped up from day one taking care of her, feeding and bathing her and walking her daily. She would often bring her to a Natirar, which is a beautiful park near our home, for special walks and to socialize with other dogs. It was their special activity and they both really enjoyed it. Julia was amazing with Maddie and took her responsibly very seriously and loved her unconditionally. When Maddie passed away a year ago, she was devastated but realized that she had a real gift bonding with dogs and they, with her. Julia is kind, loving, responsible and hardworking, I think she would be an amazing addition to the Rover community!”

20. James K.
About: I am a responsible, active and caring dog lover. I live in beautiful Basking Ridge with my wife and our two male Golden’s, Dunkin and Blue. Walks will always be fun, safe, and exciting. My wife and I are both fun, energetic, young professionals who love animals, I work from home full time and decided to restart my Rover account to get out of the house more and help out other dog owners! I grew up with a dog who was a diabetic, had a heart murmur and arthritis so I have a lot of experience giving medication of any type including insulin with a syringe. Currently, my family has a dog named Baxter who lives back in NJ with my parents. I worked from home when he was a puppy so I have experience with training and a lot of messy cleanups! I will do everything to make sure your pup is comfortable and happy in my home. Air conditioning will be on all day (during the summer), a lot of playtime and belly rubs. Also, you can expect daily pictures/videos to ensure you that your dog is being cared for properly (and maybe a bit spoilt!) I have a very flexible work schedule and can come and go as I please. Having had to deal with issues finding reliable dog care for our two dogs when we were both in the office, I wanted to offer my services to help other professionals or those who need a long term trustworthy and reliable dog lover! I’ve had to find last minute help in the past multiple times for our two boys and it always gives me so much anxiety. Whatever you need from me to feel comfortable before booking please just let me know.
