“I managed to find Allie short notice for two back to back out of town weddings after just moving to the area only a few weeks ago. This was my first time using Rover and Allie made the experience super stress-free and I felt like my cat was in good hands the entire time. She was incredibly patient with my cat who is still settling in to a new place and by the end of their time together she seemed to warm up. I would 100% book with Allie again!”

About: I am an organized and observant pet caretaker, at home I have two happy black cats and a thriving freshwater african dwarf frog tank. I'm experienced in administering medicine to cats, and enjoy working with fish and birds too! I work full time in Montpelier, and would prefer to recieve requests 1-2 weeks in advance to provide the best care possible. I'm currently available for morning and evening drop in visits. I have two indoor catsand believe a happy cat is key to a home. My litter box philosophy is the more the better, and I will scoop 1-2 times a day and clean the surrounding area.
About: Hi there! I’m an elementary school teacher looking for some additional income. I would love to walk your dog or check in on your cat while you’re away. Proud owner of 2 chihuahuas, but have previously owned big dogs too. Thanks for considering! I have lots of availability this summer being on summer break! I could give your dog a walk, or check in your cat. Mornings, afternoons, or evenings! I would defer to you as to what safety looks like (harness, leash, collar, etc). My two dogs have name tag collars, and leashes. I have walked dogs with harnesses as well. Sometimes I need a little instruction as to how to put it on (some designs are tricky!), but in the end I always figure it out!
About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was about 6 years old and pet sitting since I was 10. That’s almost a thousand years. No. It’s actually more like 42 but jeez! I have always had animals of all sorts in my life but am a professional dog trainer and dog musher. I give guided dog/human hikes, teach obedience, urban and off grid mushing, and more! I love dogs. But who doesn’t? I seem to understand them too…and they usually get me pretty quick as well! I have time most days and weekends. I try and work around the needs of my animal friends! I take care of animals full time so I can accommodate most needs. Depending on the animal, we will accommodate whatever needs are necessary. Our own dogs are very receptive to new dogs but I always recommend introductions first if the dog will be staying with us. We can crate or not depending on the dog and we have a room where dogs can go to chill on big fluffy mats!
“Miranda was wonderful! She took on our cats very last minute and they warmed to her far more than most. Her calm presence really helped our skittish babies feel safe. Her photo updates captured their quirks well and I was assured by both her competence and kindness that they would be well cared for!”

“Becca was amazing, she took excellent care of our animals! Always checked in and gave us excellent details and pictures of our animals! I will definitely be using her in the future!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and love working with animals so much! I specifically have experience with medium size dogs (from Beagles to Weimaraners) and with hound dogs of all varieties! I can take your dog for a walk or a run, and get them out of the city for a hike if you want too! I love all dogs and would be happy to make your best friend happy too. I currently live with a 9yr old cat and a 1yr old cat, so if your dogs or cats are freaked out by the scent of other animals, please let me know in advance! I do have a large car, so I can accommodate multiple animals on a hike if they want a play date or you have multiple pups. Thanks!
About: I’m passionate about dogs with behavioral quirks and pets with other complex needs. I’ll take the time to get to know your animal individually and provide the support they need to feel comfortable and safe with me. I am skilled at reading dog body language and will respect their boundaries and communication. I am also comfortable caring for exotic animals such as rodents, rabbits, reptiles, fish, and birds. I have experience giving medication (orally via syringe) to small animals. I have a flexible schedule on weekdays and can generally stop by for a couple visits during the day, depending on what works best for you and your pet’s schedule. My availability is wide open on weekends so feel free to shoot me a message! I have experience working with reactive and fearful dogs, and am careful to avoid pushing boundaries, particularly if an animal is uncomfortable with strangers. Reading each individual’s body language and respecting their communication is key to ensuring a safe and comfortable visit. I’m very detail oriented and will follow your instructions to the letter, and will be sure to reach out with any clarifying questions. Animal behavior is a passion of mine, and I am comfortable accommodating for any specific needs or behavioral quirks they might have.
“I was really nervous about leaving my 18 year old cat with someone else but Ariel put me completely at ease. She was so kind and caring with my cat and completely comfortable administering medication and following special feeding instructions. She also sent me great pictures of my pet each day and was very communicative about how things were going. When I arrived home my cat was content and well cared for. I would highly recommend her for any pet care situation. Thank you Ariel”

“Liilian really went above and beyond to make sure that our cats were cared for, played with, and safe while we were away and we're so thankful for that peace of mind knowing that they were in such good hands. Thank you!!”

My house is a quiet and safe place that is great for both humans and pets.
About: I have been caring for pets for a number of years and know that is the utmost importance to make sure that your pets are going to be well taken care of and loved. I love all kinds of dogs and would be happy to take your dog on walks, runs, or to play at the park. If you need someone to watch your dog while you are away I’d be happy to care for your dog or dogs as if they were my own! Growing up with a dad who is a veterinarian, I have grown up with all kinds of animals and enjoy all creatures great and small. If there are any other animals that need to be taken care of I would be more than willing to take care of them as well.
