About: When I was growing up my family always had dogs and cats. I have two dogs of my own (I have a senior shepherd mix and a 1.5 year old lab mix) as well as a cat. I work with middle school students during the school year and would love to spend my summer taking care of animals. My dogs are my priority so I can’t commit to overnights but with my days free this summer I would love to do some dog walking, house sitting and cat sitting. I work full-time during the school year but I have the summers off with plenty of free time to spend cuddling with some cats. I’d love to do dog sitting as well but am not sure I can commit to overnights as I have my own two dogs at home who need me but I’m open for daily support such as walks or feeding during the owners’ work hours. My dogs use a long lead out back and aren’t left unsupervised for long. When my cat was alive he had his own separate space away from the dogs as well as easier access to food, water and litter as he was arthritic.

About: Fueled by a genuine and passionate love for animals, I was a small-animal veterinary technician for 9 years. This led me to earning a pre-veterinary science degree from the University of Vermont followed by a job working at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists' small animal hospital. I have since changed my career but still pursue animal care in my free-time. This includes pet sitting, dog walking, and anything else you may need. From dogs and cats to bunnies and birds, I had it all growing up and this pet hobby has transcended into my adult life. I'm confident administering medications, trimming nails, scrubbing your fish tank, or simply walking and playing with your pets. My friends, coworkers, and family have relied on me for years for top notch pet care. I currently work from home full-time and therefore have a lot of flexibility to come care for and play with your pets! I have a fenced-in yard in the New North End of Burlington that is perfect for supervised dog play and exploration. We are also just a 5 minute walk from the Starr Farm Dog Park. I follow all leash rules and will never let a dog go unsupervised while playing with a toy or eating a treat to eliminate choking hazards. About: Hi all! I am a professional in the medical field at UVMMC who works remote part-time with ongoing afternoon/evening availability and weekends. I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid, and now have an adult rescue dog who I have completed successful dog training with for reactivity, anxiety, recall -including ecollar work. I have cared for friends dogs, and followed all of their routines. I can administer meds, go on runs, take them to the dog park, or fulfill any need/quirk. I am excited to hear all about their personalities and continue whatever training or routine that you have got going on for them. I treat dogs like they are children to be cared for! I work in healthcare, but I’m often available for midday walks during the week. Some nights of the week I can do a walk. I am intermittently available for either one or two weekend days/nights that welcome other dogs into my home to stay, potentially the whole week! Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
