About: When I was growing up my family always had dogs and cats. I have two dogs of my own (I have a senior shepherd mix and a 1.5 year old lab mix) as well as a cat. I work with middle school students during the school year and would love to spend my summer taking care of animals. My dogs are my priority so I can’t commit to overnights but with my days free this summer I would love to do some dog walking, house sitting and cat sitting. I work full-time during the school year but I have the summers off with plenty of free time to spend cuddling with some cats. I’d love to do dog sitting as well but am not sure I can commit to overnights as I have my own two dogs at home who need me but I’m open for daily support such as walks or feeding during the owners’ work hours. My dogs use a long lead out back and aren’t left unsupervised for long. When my cat was alive he had his own separate space away from the dogs as well as easier access to food, water and litter as he was arthritic.
About: I've owned and taken care of dogs my entire life. I'm proud to be one of the first people friends and family call when a petsitter is needed. I love walking, and I love dogs. This seems like the perfect opportunity to exercise and get my animal fix! I'm currently working full-time Monday through Friday. I can do evening walks after 5:00 PM (as weather allows) and I can do weekends between 9:00 AM - 6 PM. My current apartment doesn't allow pets, but I can housesit on weekends or in the evenings if the location is somewhat close to my work in Waterbury. I am experienced in administer medication and maintain a similar schedule to what you have. Research shows animals have less anxiety staying in their environment when owners are away. I strive to maintain that when you’re gone I work from home part of the time and travel the NEK the other part. I’m a social worker for my regular job but I am flexible with my schedule. I have days off on Sundays and Mondays to help with that. I follow as close to their normal schedule as you do. It helps with their anxiety and transition. If you walk them in the mornings, I will do the same. I prefer to watch animals in their home to make them more comfortable.

About: I have three dogs, have always loved to take care of dogs and am always helping friends and families with their dogs.
