“Abbey has been incredibly responsive and helpful with daily walks for our dog! Our pup is a little standoff-ish at first, and Abbey was patient and kind through this process. She also volunteered to come meet our dog before the first walk, which really helped put us at ease.”

About: I've been taking care of pets (cats, dogs, and rabbits) my entire life. One of my career highlights was working at the Philadelphia Zoo. Granted, I was working as a puppeteer, but I love being around animals every day. I currently have two beloved cats of my own, and I'm excited to meet your pets! I'm also a freelance puppeteer and writer - so when I'm between projects I have a very flexible schedule and will be happy to take care of your pets! I pride myself on being good with animals, love winning them over, and am a very empathic person. While I love a friendly creature, I'm also good at giving animals space if they're shy around new people, etc.

About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with my grandparents having many dogs and cats at once and would care for them while they would leave town. I have cared for my friends and families pets and love it!! Service I provide include, boarding, walking, and boarding at your home if that fits your needs. I am currently working part time and my partner Liam works full time when he’s away at work I’m around, and when I’m at work a couple nights a week he’s home! Leaving us with lots of time to be with your fur babies I am currently not offering boarding at my home. But with house sitting I would communicate with you as to what your pup needs and follow your directions/routines

About: Hi there! I’m an elementary school teacher looking for a fun summer gig. I would love to walk your dog or check in on your cat while you’re away. Proud owner of 2 chihuahuas, but have previously owned big dogs too. Thanks for considering! I have lots of availability this summer being on summer break! I could give your dog a walk, or check in your cat. Mornings, afternoons, or evenings! I would defer to you as to what safety looks like (harness, leash, collar, etc). My two dogs have name tag collars, and leashes. I have walked dogs with harnesses as well. Sometimes I need a little instruction as to how to put it on (some designs are tricky!), but in the end I always figure it out!

About: Hi! I’m Jen. My husband Jose and I share this profile (you’ll see it under his name), but I’m the one you’ll mostly be in touch with! He works full-time, and I’m a student with a flexible schedule—so I get to spend my days caring for your pets. We’re both huge animal lovers, and I’ll treat your fur babies like my own! I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life and currently have two dogs of my own, so I know just how much love, patience, and care they need. I’ve even successfully trained a service dog, which gave me a deep understanding of obedience, socialization, and building trust. Every dog is unique, and I take the time to get to know their personality, routine, and needs. Whether it’s reinforcing training, keeping up with exercise, or providing a calm space for anxious pups, I make sure they feel safe and loved. Your pup will be treated like family with me and I can’t wait to meet them I have a very flexible schedule, so I can be available when you need me most. Whether it’s for daily care, last-minute plans, or extended stays. In my home, they’ll have plenty of attention, a cozy space to relax, and two other dogs to keep them company. We live in a very rural area with lots of outdoor space and trails through the forest, perfect for dogs who love to explore and get fresh air. If I’m caring for them in their home, I stick to their usual schedule and routine to keep things as stress-free as possible. From walks and playtime, I tailor my care to each pet, treating them like family every step of the way!

About: I love animals! I’m especially partial to cats. I have a cat myself and have raised many kittens. I have experience with bottle feeding, pooping/peeing young kittens, and bathing kittens. I also have experience caring for dogs both big and small. I work part time as a massage therapist so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I'm currently located in central vermont and will be here until august. I am able to provide house visits and drop-in visits. I can provide dog walking, play time to both dogs and cats, litter cleanup and feedings.

“Shannon is fantastic! She walked our very rambunctious dog every day for almost three weeks while I recovered from an injury. Shannon is prompt, reliable, and communicative. She took our dog on vigorous hour-long walks that left the pup snoozing and calm the rest of the day. The dog is already hoping I'll re-injure myself so she can see Shannon again. I will definitely turn to Shannon again for dog walking!”

“Izzy is great with our dog and super reliable!”

About: I helped on our small family farm since I was about ten years old and I was surrounded by multiple different types of dog breeds My current schedule is very flexible for both house sitting as well as dog walks this includes weekdays and weekends looking forward to talking ! I will care for the clients pets properly in their home by, communication, reliability, passion, and following the clients specific instructions for their pets needs.

“Remy was in great hands, couldn’t be happier.”

About: Growing up on a farm I learned how to take care of ALL types of animals. Over the years I have increased that knowledge, and currently have a cat, dog, and horse of my own. I moved to this area three years ago, but while still living in Vermont I would provide boarding services, you can see my excellent reviews of happy customers! Your pet will be in the absolute best care, with me, and have a fun time as well! I was previously a preschool teacher, so I am background checked and responsible! Before and after work I take my own dog for a nice long walk to ensure he gets exercise and is a happy healthy dog. Your pet can come along with us on our daily routine! Since I will not be doing any boarding, at the moment, my environment doesn’t really apply. However, I always make sure animals feel Botha safe with me, our surroundings and other animals around. I will not bring them anywhere outside of their comfort zone or where they might feel unsafe.

About: When I was growing up my family always had dogs and cats. After I went off to college I adopted a cat named Louie from the local shelter. He just passed away recently at the age of 19. I am missing having a cat around and would love to look after your cat when you’re away. I also have two dogs (I have a senior shepherd mix and a 1.5 year old lab mix). My dogs are my priority so I can’t commit to overnights but with my days free this summer I am available for dog walking, house sitting and cat sitting. I work full-time during the school year but I have the summers off with plenty of free time to spend cuddling with some cats. I’d love to do dog sitting as well but am not sure I can commit to overnights as I have my own two dogs at home who need me but I’m open for daily support such as walks or feeding during the owners’ work hours. My dogs use a long lead out back and aren’t left unsupervised for long. When my cat was alive he had his own separate space away from the dogs as well as easier access to food, water and litter as he was arthritic.

About: I'm a huge fan of pets and I'm passionate about caring for all animals! I have 5 years of experience petsitting and house sitting for neighbors and other acquaintances, and 7+ years experience caring for my family pets growing up. Those pets included guinea pigs, dogs, and sugar gliders. I've also pet sat for many cats! Now, since I don't have any pets of my own, I'm excited to get to work with animals via this platform and spend time with your pets :) I've spent several years in animal rights activism and don't eat anything from animals, so my respect for other creatures runs deep. I'm a teacher during the week, so you can trust me to be responsible and reliable. Look forward to meeting you and your animals soon! :) I have time for longer jobs on the weekends, and during the week I am able to do jobs early in the morning, and early afternoon to early evening. I will follow all expectations and requirements set out by my clients, and will communicate throughout the pet sitting process. I'm thorough and follow a checklist each time I visit a clients home, and will make sure to keep your pets safe.

Before the visit, please feel free to let me know of your expectations regarding your house and/or pet.

“Bella helped me out last minute and gave me some peace of mind during a long work day. Great service!”

About: I have had plenty of experience with dogs and cats I got my very first dog when I was 6 years old, he was my best friend until he passed away when I was 17, I now have three of my own dogs who are taken care of very well. I have trained two puppies of my own and a kitten. I have grown up in a house where we sold litters and had to take care of puppies until they were sold. I have dog/cat sit for plenty of my family and friends. I enjoy taking walks/hikes with your fur babies and giving them extra love! I’m currently a stay at home mom trying to make some extra cash, my schedule is pretty wide open in advance so that being said i can easily go take care of animals during the morning/day and evenings. I have 10 acres and a walking trail behind our house and three dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I am willing to stay at clients house which would be preferred or just let your dogs out or take them for a walk. I can change litter boxes, brush and bathe animals.

I take their happiness and well-being as seriously as my own, whether that means preparing fresh meals, making sure they stick to their routine, or just giving them lots of love and attention. When I’m not with animals, you can usually find me out in nature, making art, gardening, or learning new skills in bushcraft, herbalism, and homesteading. I work from home, so I’m available throughout the day to provide care, attention, and companionship. My flexible schedule allows me to stick to your pet’s routine. I follow each pet’s routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I respect your home, keeping it clean, secure, and just as you left it.

“Makenie was fantastic! I was in need of someone to walk Lucy while I was at work and staying in town for another week, and Makenzie responded quickly and was able to help me out on relatively short notice. I got a picture and update of what and how she did each day while I was at work. It eased my mind to know that Lucy got out, got to do her business, and would be okay to wait the rest of the day until I got home. I would definitely recommend Makenzie for anyone needing reliable and friendly service. Thanks Makenzie!”
