Hi, my name is Shannon. I grew up with pets and have been a pet mom for most of my life. I can't imagine a life without them. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, cats, guinea pigs, ferrets, rabbits, small birds, and fish. Most of my experience is with dog and cat ownership. I'm comfortable with pets in all life stages, and I have a special place in my heart for senior pets. I grew up in the mountains of Vermont so I'm not afraid of inclement weather. Rest assured that I will arrive on time regardless of the weather conditions. I am happy to take long walks and get lots and lots of exercise with your best friend. I hike regularly and spend a lot of my free time outside. I also make gemstone meditation beads and donate part of the sales to animal rescue efforts around the world. Shannon did a wonderful job looking after our little Max. He got lots of exercise and lots of attention. We could see that Max settled in quickly and was comfortable with her. Shannon is a natural, a real dog person!
Shannon took the time to share pictures and videos, and even went out of her way to make sure I was home and the girls didn’t need anything else. I would absolutely seek her out again
Shannon is amazing! The first time she came my dogs were immediately friends. This is very unusual - one of my dogs tries to be a watchdog. And I really liked her, too. She’s a very nice person. I will definitely use her in the future.
My cats enjoyed their time with Shannon. I was particularly pleased to learn that my old cat who can easily be distressed or anxious was friendly and social during the time away. She is definitely a cat whisperer for the aging cats!
Shannon was great. Thanks for feeding and checking in on our cats. Would definitely ask Shannon again the next time we need a pet sitter.
We went out of town for 5 days and Shannon took amazing care of our two dogs. I was nervous leaving them with someone new, but it was clear upon meeting Shannon for our meet and greet that my pups liked her right away! She definitely set my mind at ease with updates and photos while we were away, and was quick to respond when I sent a message. I would definitely book Shannon again!
