About: Hi there! My name is Andrea. I moved to Vermont 8 months ago with my dog, Hazel. We have been loving all the outdoor adventures VT has to offer! As we have settled, I realized I really missed dog sitting. I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, but I have a huge soft spot for dogs. Plus, Hazel loves dogs way more than humans and would love to make some new friends! We live in a spacious apartment conveniently located near a bike path and several beautiful trails. On weekdays, we enjoy 3–4 mile walks or hikes, and on weekends, we love exploring longer outdoor adventures together. Whether your dog is full of energy or prefers a slower pace, I’m happy to tailor our time together to meet their needs. I have experience caring for dogs at every stage of life, including seniors, and feel confident handling any special requirements they may have. On weekends, I’m available the entire day(s) and can fully cater to your dog’s needs. Whether it’s playing, walking, or cuddles, I’m here to provide it for your pup! I offer both dog walking and boarding services during weekdays and weekends. I’m a full-time science teacher, working weekdays from 8 AM to 4 PM. While I’m away during the day, your pup would need to be comfortable being alone for 8+ hours without a potty break. That said, as soon as I’m home, we make up for lost time with a long walk or hike—so your dog will still get plenty of exercise, attention, and love. If your dog is okay with the weekday routine, they’ll enjoy a calm, caring home and plenty of outdoor fun once the workday is done. In my home, your pup will be treated like one of the family. I live in a spacious apartment with plenty of room to play, nap, and relax. My dog, Hazel, is super friendly and loves having a buddy around, so your dog will have a built-in companion during their stay! We stick to a comfortable routine; shorter walks in the morning and evening, a longer walk or outing during the day, and plenty of hangout time in between. On weekends, we love hitting the local trails for longer adventures. If I’m caring for your pup in your home, I’ll do my best to keep things as close to their normal routine as possible. I’ll follow your instructions carefully and send regular updates (with photos, of course!). Hazel and I will make sure your pup feels safe, loved, and totally at home!

Proud owner of 2 chihuahuas, but have previously owned big dogs too. Thanks for considering! I have lots of availability this summer being on summer break! I could give your dog a walk, or check in your cat. Mornings, afternoons, or evenings! I would defer to you as to what safety looks like (harness, leash, collar, etc). My two dogs have name tag collars, and leashes. I have walked dogs with harnesses as well. Sometimes I need a little instruction as to how to put it on (some designs are tricky!), but in the end I always figure it out!

About: I’ve always loved babysitting animals, so I’ve cared for a wide range of them. Even in my teenage years, people would call on me to care for their pets when they couldn’t. I’ve experienced caring for many of them and love them all! Weekends are my most available time, as I’m typically home Saturday-Sunday. I am available to board pets during the week that can stay home while I go to work. My work schedule is very consistent so I am able to stick to a routine for their needs. I have a yard and large trail behind my house for the active doggies, and a snuggly couch for the cuddlers! I have a fluffy dog who would love to be your dog or cats friend too! Note for cats: my dog does get very excited to meet cats, and so any cats we care for have to be comfortable around dogs. He will most certainly want to play.

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was about 6 years old and pet sitting since I was 10. That’s almost a thousand years. No. It’s actually more like 42 but jeez! I have always had animals of all sorts in my life but am a professional dog trainer and dog musher. I give guided dog/human hikes, teach obedience, urban and off grid mushing, and more! I love dogs. But who doesn’t? I seem to understand them too…and they usually get me pretty quick as well! I have time most days and weekends. I try and work around the needs of my animal friends! About: i recently moved to the area from new york and i’m looking for something fun to do for work. i absolutely love animals. they’re so intelligent and fun and loving. i would love to take care of animals on a daily basis. i am a caring and loving person and have always had quite the love for animals. i have always had dogs and cats in my home growing up. with that being said, i wouldn’t mind walking dogs, stopping by to play or feed animals, staying for hours with them, or just frequently seeing them. i have been trying to find jobs around the area and nothing has really spoken to me. i found that people need dog sitters and i thought it would be a good idea to try and get out there and meet people and have fun with animals all day

Being around dogs has always come naturally to me. I’m patient, calm, playful, and super intuitive with animals, especially dogs of all kinds. I treat every dog like they’re my own, and I make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while their people are away. Over the years, I’ve built real trust with the people I’ve worked with. They know their dogs are in good hands with me — whether it’s for a quick walk or a whole weekend. I’ve looked after energetic puppies, shy rescues, older dogs needing meds, and everything in between. This isn’t just something I do — it’s something I genuinely care about. I currently go to barber school from 8:30-5 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. If you need a little check in or letting your dog out after that on those days I would definitely do that! Other than that I am open 6-11pm on every other day unless I have something else going on. If you ever need to know just always reach out if needed! I live in an apartment complex but I usually let me dogs free inside and if they need it I usually bring them to the dog park to get all that playfulness out. I am very attentive so your dog will never be left alone! I have 2 dogs medium size and one likes to relax while the other loves to play but she knows her limits, if the other dog does not like it she does stop.
