About: Hi there! I’m an elementary school teacher looking for some additional income. I would love to walk your dog or check in on your cat while you’re away. Proud owner of 2 chihuahuas, but have previously owned big dogs too. Thanks for considering! I have lots of availability this summer being on summer break! I could give your dog a walk, or check in your cat. Mornings, afternoons, or evenings! I would defer to you as to what safety looks like (harness, leash, collar, etc). My two dogs have name tag collars, and leashes. I have walked dogs with harnesses as well. Sometimes I need a little instruction as to how to put it on (some designs are tricky!), but in the end I always figure it out!

About: I’ve taken care of neighbors dogs when I was child and now I have my own dogs I care for. I enjoy taking dogs hiking and to parks. I work a full time job at a school. About: I am an organized and observant pet caretaker, at home I have two happy black cats and a thriving freshwater african dwarf frog tank. I'm experienced in administering medicine to cats, and enjoy working with fish and birds too! I work full time in Montpelier, and would prefer to recieve requests 1-2 weeks in advance to provide the best care possible. I'm currently available for morning and evening drop in visits. I have two indoor catsand believe a happy cat is key to a home. My litter box philosophy is the more the better, and I will scoop 1-2 times a day and clean the surrounding area.
About: I have taken care of my family and friend’s dogs for years. I just found out about Rover from a friend who’s been on Rover for some time and she’s told me just how fun and rewarding it is, so I am giving it a go! I have a Yellow Lab of my own “Jader” who loves going for hikes and swimming in my pond. Currently I am very flexible and would be able to provide walks, pet sitting, and potentially be willing to board on a case by case basis. I look forward to where this Rover journey takes me! At the time I am in flight school which is part time and I have quite a bit of flexibility. So days and evenings are doable. I live on a 100 acre horse farm at the end of quiet dirt road so there is very little traffic. When you come by for the first time you will think this is doggy heaven. My Lab Jader is very easy going and gets along with most dogs. Of course before entertaining any boarding I would have to see how Jader gets along with your dog. Other than that I am used to walking and hiking in public areas so walking the rec path or going up the Pinnacle would not be an issue.

I specifically have experience with medium size dogs (from Beagles to Weimaraners) and with hound dogs of all varieties! I can take your dog for a walk or a run, and get them out of the city for a hike if you want too! I love all dogs and would be happy to make your best friend happy too. I currently live with a 9yr old cat and a 1yr old cat, so if your dogs or cats are freaked out by the scent of other animals, please let me know in advance! If you need someone to watch your dog while you are away I’d be happy to care for your dog or dogs as if they were my own! About: I promise to keep your fur baby safe and happy as can be while you're away. I will provide playtime, walks, cuddles and a lot of attention. I am very interactive and not afraid to be goofy in order to make a genuine connection with your pet. Don't be afraid to leave me detailed instructions- I get it and have fur and feathered babies of my own! I am able to walk up to 2 to 3 big dogs at a time and feel confident in my abilities to give commands and appropriate rewards/disciplines. If your pet(s) gets dirty, I will bathe them as well as clean up any messes that occur. I also will keep your home sweet home neat and tidy so you never come home to a mess. I have grown up with pets and have always owned one or two.. okay, maybe 3 at a time. I make genuine connections with animals (wild ones, too) and would love to give them the opportunity to get outside all season long (even in the winter).
