About: I've owned and taken care of dogs my entire life. I'm proud to be one of the first people friends and family call when a petsitter is needed. I love walking, and I love dogs. This seems like the perfect opportunity to exercise and get my animal fix! I'm currently working full-time Monday through Friday. I can do evening walks after 5:00 PM (as weather allows) and I can do weekends between 9:00 AM - 6 PM. My current apartment doesn't allow pets, but I can housesit on weekends or in the evenings if the location is somewhat close to my work in Waterbury. I'm a long-time vegetarian, and have always had an extra sensitive heart when it comes to animals. I think that earning an animal's trust is such a privilege and gift, and I honor that. I cannot house pets in my current apartment, but I will follow the guidance and knowledge of the owners in their homes and while on walks.

About: I've been taking care of pets for two decades and will love them like I love my own. I believe the best way to teach a dog is positive reinforcement and will work with whatever routines you have established with your furry family member. I work from home 3 days per week and the days are flexible except Thursday when I have to be at my office in Montpelier. I can go home on my lunch breaks for walks on the days I'm in the office (and you're close to Montpelier) and can work from your home if I'm housesitting and you have internet. As a gal in her 40s I'm pretty low key and will be very happy spending my time with your pet in your home or taking them on adventures if that's what they prefer. About: I grew up with cats, both indoor and outdoor. In college I adopted my own cat who recently passed away at the age of 19. He was very healthy up until the last year during which time he needed special medication and some adjustments made to his living quarters. I recently adopted an adult cat named Angus and he has fit in with my dogs wonderfully! About: My schedule is flexible so I'm able to spend time throughout the day with your fur baby. I'm active and happy to play fetch for hours! I like to take puppers for multiple walks and give lots of love and pets. The clients I sit for like the fact they can contact me last minute and I'm generally able to adjust my schedule to be available. My schedule changes from week to week but feel free to contact me to double check my availability no matter the season! I like when clients leave me detailed instructions on what their pets normal schedules are, that way there's less stress put on myself and on your fur friend! I'm able to work from home most days of the week, this allows me to be available for all pet needs - morning, lunch time, and after work walks are a part of my daily schedule when we have a dog to take care of. Lots of mental stimulation and training exercises throughout the day to keep them out of trouble helps too! About: When I was growing up my family always had dogs and cats. I have two dogs of my own (I have a senior shepherd mix and a 1.5 year old lab mix) as well as a cat. I work with middle school students during the school year and would love to spend my summer taking care of animals. My dogs are my priority so I can’t commit to overnights but with my days free this summer I would love to do some dog walking, house sitting and cat sitting. I work full-time during the school year but I have the summers off with plenty of free time to spend cuddling with some cats. I live in an apartment complex but I usually let me dogs free inside and if they need it I usually bring them to the dog park to get all that playfulness out. “Julia was AWESOME. In fact, I worried that our dog, Tucker, would end up preferring to stay with her rather than come home with us! She watched our very enthusiastic 1.5 year old golden retriever for the weekend, and took him on hikes, had him splashing in brooks and meeting goats. She was easy to get in touch with, accepted our last minute booking (including squeezing in a meet and greet prior) and sent great photos. 10/10 recommend!!”

About: Growing up around a wide variety of animals has given me the skills and passion needed to be an attentive and responsible carer of all kinds of pets. I've owned several dogs, cats, rodents, and horses. I was responsible for administering medications, accommodating pets with special needs, becoming attuned to various behaviors and habits, and adhering to specific individualized training methods. I'm currently working full-time from home as a customer service rep for a small, local company and mothering my 2 year old toddler (who is very gentle and respectful around all animals). I'm fortunately very flexible with my schedule and can accommodate both last-minute and long-term schedules! Being a sincere animal lover, I'm always enthusiastically willing to tend to the needs of any pets that are under my care. I believe that both people and animals benefit from living in a clean and comfortable space, so I seek to maintain and accommodate that kind of positive atmosphere in your pet's home.
About: I have had many breeds and ages of dogs my whole life. I look forward to assisting you with your best friend. From feeding to training and walks to the river I can’t wait to meet your best friend. Need more than dog care? I have plenty of experience with all sorts of farm animals! Currently have a flexible schedule and looking to add more dogs to my dog walk. I have a great spot to take by my house or we could head to some more well known trails. Your pup can come hang in my fenced in yard and join my pups in watching the chickens roam around. Otherwise we can stay in the comfort of their own space.

I initially made boarding reservations for my two dogs, but plans changed when a 75 pound rescue came into my life. Kim was willing to board my entire crew of 3. Kim is conscientious, kind, patient, and accommodating. (One of my girls is sometimes uncomfortable walking on hardwood floors, even with trimmed nails. Kim put out yoga mats and a runner to help her feel more comfortable.) I would not hesitate to recommend her and Moose.”

“We were so happy to find someone who is fear free certified & uses positive reinforcement and were thrilled when Maria let us know she was available to watch our 7 month old puppy on short notice. Our puppy had never been alone or away from us so we were very nervous but when we arrived at Maria’s home, we were put at ease when she let him approach her vs. coming over to greet him as he can be a bit shy at first. Our pup took to Maria fairly quickly and once we went inside, Maria introduced her dog Lalo. Lalo was very sweet and so patient with our pup who was extremely excited to have a friend to play with. We were worried our pup would have a hard time with us leaving but we were actually able to sneak out the door/leave while our pup played with Lalo! Our pup is a high energy breed and Maria made sure he got both physical and mental stimulation by bringing him on several walks and offering a Kong. He slept almost the whole 3 hour drive home! We received our first update from Maria shortly after we dropped off our pup and she continued to send frequent updates and texted back very quickly - again putting our worries at ease! We would absolutely recommend Maria and if we are ever in the area again, utilize her services!”
