Adia has been absolutely incredible with our pup. She is not only super attentive and loving, but she truly goes above and beyond every single time. It’s clear how much she genuinely cares, and our dog absolutely adores her. Knowing our pup is in such kind, reliable hands gives us so much peace of mind. About: I have lived around animals for as long as I can remember and I completely adore them. I have a fair amount of experience with dogs the smallest being a choodle (chihuahua+poodle mix) from a puppy to the largest so far being a Pyrenees. By this point I have taken care of both baby animals and senior pets with a lot of experience with keeping up with your pets medication. I also have experience with other animals like sugar gliders, hedgehogs, snakes, fish, chickens and even a horse. I reinforce any commands and training your pets are learning. I'm willing to care for and walk dogs of an even larger size just give me fair warning if your dog is a jumper. Im a little on the short side and just want to be prepared. I currently own a Chinese crested powderpuff named Rogue, and a miniature dachshund named Slade. Also I care for a family of stray cats that might as well be mine at this point. I usually play with animals until they are tired enough without making them exhausted. I usually keep to whatever schedule my clients give me and then some. Feedings, bathroom breaks, play time, walks, cuddles, training reinforcements and loads of pictures. I keep an eye out for just about everything. I want to make sure that both your pets and your house is safe. I'll check for anything that is asked for specifically as well

About: I truly treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m patient, attentive, and very in tune with an animal’s body language and needs. Whether it’s a high-energy puppy who needs structure and consistency, or a senior pet who needs a slower pace and gentle care, I adjust to what makes them feel safe and comfortable. I’m great at sticking to routines, administering basic medications if needed, and keeping owners updated with photos and messages so you always feel at ease. What sets me apart is that I don’t just “watch” pets. I bond with them. I want them to feel loved, secure, and happy while you’re away. Consider this their home away from home 😍🤗 I’m self employed, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to prioritize pet care throughout my day. I have open availability for drop ins, walks, and extended stays, and I’m able to adjust my routine to meet your pet’s needs because I control my own schedule, I can provide consistent attention, timely feedings, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of love. Pet care isn’t something I have to “fit in” I intentionally build my day around it. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. In a client’s home, I respect your space and follow your pet’s routine exactly as instructed to keep things consistent and stress free. I double check doors, gates, and leashes, and I’m always mindful of keeping pets secure at all times. In my home (if applicable), I provide a clean, calm, and pet safe environment with plenty of supervision and attention. I make sure anything harmful is out of reach and that pets feel comfortable and relaxed. I pay close attention to behavior changes, eating habits, and overall well being, and I communicate openly with owners through updates and photos so you always feel connected and reassured while you’re away.

About: I highly recommend my son, Jared, as a dog walker on Rover.com. He is extremely responsible, attentive, and loving towards all animals. Jared goes above and beyond to ensure that the pets in his care are happy, healthy, and well-walked. I trust Jared completely with our own precious pets, and I know that he will provide your pets with the same level of care and love that you do. If you are looking for a reliable and compassionate dog walker, look no further than Jared! My son is currently off school and will be giving his full attention towards walking your furry friends. Even when school begins, he will continue to walk your pets as much as he can. Jared is a very responsible and loving pet owner. He makes sure that our precious dog, Luna, is taken care of before he does anything else.

My dog sitter cancelled on me the night of Christmas Eve, and I was scrambling to find someone to replace them. I messaged Tim, and he had no problem saving my Christmas! He was kind, courteous, and had no issues with my two big dogs. Thanks again if you're reading this Tim!

About: While I've never been paid to pet sit, I've checked in on my neighbor's dogs upon request, feeding them and taking them outside when necessary. It's impossible to estimate just how long I've cared for animals. While I'm on the hunt for a full or part time job over the summer, my availability will be flexible. As of now, I will be available at any time on any day. I've been around all sorts of animals in my life, currently living with my family's two boy dogs, Tucker and Charlie. With them, I've become familiar with using crates, feeding schedules, playtime, and of course, cuddles.

About: I have had pets since I was born, and they were always members of the family. As an adult, I've owned and trained multiple pets, and I love them all: dogs, cats, unconventional pets, etc. As a stay-at-home mom, I have fairly open morning, afternoon, and evening availability. I am flexible and willing to work with your schedule. I will walk your pet, play with your pet, and give as many cuddles and belly rubs as required! I have experience walking dogs both with a collar or a harness, so can manage whatever you have.

About: I've grown up around different animals in my home. The most common being dogs with their sizes ranging from a small chihuahua to a large dog who was a mixed breed. Cats were also included in our household, one in particular being quite feisty yet well cared for. Within that household, there were also birds and turtles. I also volunteered at an animal sanctuary for a while so I do have some experience in dealing with the more bizarre kinds of animals as well. I’m currently in the middle of working on my thesis for my master’s degree. Fortunately I’m at a state where my time is quite malleable as long as I’m notified within reason. I did move out of my hometown, so I am currently not caring for any pets which does allow for more free time. As such, I am able to care for most animals at a flexible rate. I can give company to any pet. If necessary, I can help crate them or give other proper care for them. Back home I’ve helped crate and transport my dogs and cat to the vet. When there was thunder one of my dogs was terrified of the sound, so normally we would wrap a blanket or towel around them and hold them to help comfort the little doggy for a while.

I’m a stay at home mom with two toddlers. We have our own baby. She’s 8 months old and isn’t so much small. But we are open to welcoming any new fur baby friends anywhere and anytime. I have a fence and gated yard. I have 5 acres in the hill country that your fur baby can roam and just be a doggo. I have a 8 month old that’s such a big baby and do sweet. She doesn’t bark or fight. She has a habit of chasing the deer. I have a kennel if needed, I have chew toys and balls and shoes that’s already destroyed if you have a pup pup, I have food and treats, and water bowls, beds, indoor and outdoor. I’m a fur mama with little to no rules when it comes to my fur loves.

I have had dogs and cats in my life since I was 3. I have had 6 dogs and 3 cats total. I’m currently raising my 5th puppy, Toulouse. He will be the fourth dog I’ve trained. I work from home so I have lots of free time and I’m eager to start this new endeavor. Please feel free to message me with any questions you have. I look forward to meeting you and your sweetheart. I am self employed and spend a lot of time if not all my time at home. I would have lots of free time to tend to all your pets needs. Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Bandera Falls. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Bandera Falls.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bandera Falls. On Rover:

  • 85% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
