I have Ella booked for repeat walking. My lab is young and very active, and Ella will put in the work to tire him out. Moose loves her and we feel at ease knowing he is in good hands. She provides feedback and is communicative. Always on time too. Highly recommend her!

About: I have experience with puppies and old dogs, big dogs and small dogs. Lots of experience with diabetes and critical care pets. I've been a dog owner and lover for over 15 years. I work from home. I’m home almost all of the time so my availability is pretty open. I have a large fenced yard and I live on some property. I also have miles of country roads I can take your pets for a walk! I can also come to you to check in on your dog or take them for a walk. I want to do what it best for you and your pets! I am currently a stay at home mom for my 4 kiddos so my schedule is very flexible! Weekday or weekend I always have availability for furry friends! Travel: My standard rates include locations within approximately 15 minutes of my home base in Bandera. Because I serve a large rural area, a small per-visit travel fee may apply for extended-distance bookings (generally $5 for locations approximately 15–25 minutes away and $10+ for locations 25+ minutes away). Any travel adjustment will always be discussed and agreed upon before booking. I treat my pets like a beloved family member and I will treat yours the same way! They rely on us so I would never let them down!

Isaac did a wonderful job walking my dogs, Anakin and Padme! He was very accommodating and made scheduling so easy. I appreciated how attentive and caring he was with both of them, and it gave me peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Isaac, and I’ll definitely be booking with him again in the future!

About: Have 20+ years of experience taking care of dogs young and old, cats, chickens, hamsters, chinchillas, fish, ducks, etc. Can provide basic training for young dogs and treat achy bones on senior dogs with red light therapy. My schedule is pretty flexible during the entire week so your fur baby will be able to experience the love and care they need. This can be by stopping by your residence to take care of them (open for all pets) and for dogs having doggy day camp or vacationing at my home. My property is fully fenced in. I have a doggie door where your pup can go in and out of the house as they please. Your fur baby will have my fur babies to play with during their stay. If you'd prefer for your pet to be crated at particular times accommodations can be made. If I am visiting your home to check in on your pet, please provide me the details on what you would like me to focus on the most while with your pet. Otherwise, I will spend time bonding with them through play, cuddles, and food.

I have a strong passion & love for all animals, even those who might be “difficult”. Don’t be scared to say your animal has behavioral issues as it can be managed & I have experience with extreme sensitivity & destruction. I can arrange meetings & sitting around work easily. I’m up early & up late! You can text or call with questions anytime. Don’t hesitate to request days that might seem “inconvenient”, your pets care will never be an inconvenience to me! About: I've been an animal lover before I could walk. I've taken care of animals large and small, from horses to hamsters. I spent 10 years in the Marines working alongside and training with the military working dogs. My sidekick is Scarlett, a mellow mannered lab mix who loves every critter, even my mom's raccoon. Scarlett is a great partner for helping socialize other dogs and is always up for cuddles on the couch with new cat friends. I'm currently medically retired from the military with plenty of time and not enough critters to fill it with. My dog, Scarlett is always wanting a play date too. I live in an animal friendly apartment with a great dog park in the complex and only a short drive from an enormous park where your fur baby can run free. Also, I am more than happy to help your fur baby feel more comfortable by coming to them and being the guest in their castle instead

About: I am a 36 year old pet owner myself, looking to have some flexibility in my schedule so that I can finish up my nursing degree. I am very reliable and have my own transportation, and most importantly I LOVE animals!! I have owned dogs my entire life ranging in all sizes. I have also taken care of numerous pets over the last twenty years both in and out of my home. As a dog owner myself, caring for pets is already part of my daily life. Pet sitting naturally fits into my routine because I’m used to feeding schedules, walks, administering basic care, and making sure animals feel safe and comfortable. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, potty breaks, and any special care requirements. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality and preferences so they feel secure and well cared for while their family is away. I also prioritize communication by providing regular updates, photos, and prompt responses so owners always know how their pet is doing. I understand that trusting someone with a beloved pet can be difficult, so I strive to give owners peace of mind through reliability, attention to detail, and compassionate care. My goal is for both pets and their owners to feel comfortable, confident, and supported throughout the entire experience.

About: I've grown up around different animals in my home. The most common being dogs with their sizes ranging from a small chihuahua to a large dog who was a mixed breed. Cats were also included in our household, one in particular being quite feisty yet well cared for. Within that household, there were also birds and turtles. I also volunteered at an animal sanctuary for a while so I do have some experience in dealing with the more bizarre kinds of animals as well. I’m currently in the middle of working on my thesis for my master’s degree. Fortunately I’m at a state where my time is quite malleable as long as I’m notified within reason. I did move out of my hometown, so I am currently not caring for any pets which does allow for more free time. As such, I am able to care for most animals at a flexible rate. I can give company to any pet. If necessary, I can help crate them or give other proper care for them. Back home I’ve helped crate and transport my dogs and cat to the vet. When there was thunder one of my dogs was terrified of the sound, so normally we would wrap a blanket or towel around them and hold them to help comfort the little doggy for a while.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Lakehills. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. • 88% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
