About: Have 20+ years of experience taking care of dogs young and old, cats, chickens, hamsters, chinchillas, fish, ducks, etc. Can provide basic training for young dogs and treat achy bones on senior dogs with red light therapy. My schedule is pretty flexible during the entire week so your fur baby will be able to experience the love and care they need. This can be by stopping by your residence to take care of them (open for all pets) and for dogs having doggy day camp or vacationing at my home. My property is fully fenced in. I have a doggie door where your pup can go in and out of the house as they please. Your fur baby will have my fur babies to play with during their stay. If you'd prefer for your pet to be crated at particular times accommodations can be made. If I am visiting your home to check in on your pet, please provide me the details on what you would like me to focus on the most while with your pet. Otherwise, I will spend time bonding with them through play, cuddles, and food.
“Lisa took very good care of my dogs while I was in town for a wedding. My dogs felt immediately comfortable with her and her children, and so had a vacation of their own. I will definitely ask her to watch my two next time I’m in town, andhighly recommend her!”
“Rose was very friendly and super attentive to my pups. I was worried because my youngest is only 3 ‘on the but she handled both my giant and tiny fur babies very well.”

“Steph has done numerous drop ins for my dogs, but today she let my dogs and my foster do doggy day camp for the day at her beautiful place so that I could go and see my grandma one more time. My dogs are so tired and fulfilled! I will def be booking again when I need someone I know I can trust with my furbabies!”

There’s plenty of space for playtime indoors and out and your pet will enjoy fun walks around our neighborhood, exploring new areas and getting plenty of exercise. I am able to be available for potty breaks and walks throughout the day. I have a fully fenced backyard for dogs to play and have fun. I live in a quiet neighborhood where we can take quick walks to a park. I have three children who live here who love animals as well.

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about leaving my dog Marley with Alisa & Abel. They cared for my dog with so much luv & attention, treating him like fam❤️. Throughout the stay, they text’d me updates & adorable pics showing how much fun my dog had. Besides amazing playtime, they even surprised me with a beautiful painting along with some homemade treats for Marley as a sweet takeaway gift. I could tell my dog was happy, loved, and so well cared for the entire time. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter. Thank you again for everything!”

About: I truly believe pets are family and treat every dog and cat in my care with patience, love, and attention. I grew up with both dogs and cats and had my childhood dog, Misty, for 18 wonderful years. She crossed the rainbow bridge in June of 2026. I also have experience coordinating adoption events for foster pets through nonprofits, giving me hands on experience with animals of all temperaments, including rescues. As a stay-at-home mom, I offer a flexible schedule and can accommodate early mornings, evenings, drop in visits, and long walks. I’m also comfortable administering medications and adapting to your pet’s specific needs and routine. Always happy to do meet & greets to ensure I am a good fit for your fur babies. 🐾 🤎 I’m home most of the day and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to be available for drop ins, walks, and consistent care. “Penny absolutely loved being in Amber's little haven. She kept me up to date, and even took pictures to keep me updated on all the fun Penny was up to! Penny was extremely tired after a full day of play, and I know she will be excited when I start taking her on a weekly basis. So grateful to have found Amber. If you're looking for a place for your dog to socialize instead of being couped up all day, Amber is the best choice!”

“Amazing day care for my little golden retriever pup! She had a blast!! She was well looked after and I got frequent updates on her activities throughout the day! He accepted our last minute request which I am so grateful for! AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING dog sitter.”

“Caroline is the best, so sweet and accommodating!! The pups loved her and her dogs and they came home exhausted. She sent pictures throughout the day and played with them in the yard. I will be taking them to Caroline weekly :)”

“Beckie & Isabella watched Finn for the day to get him used to them before a boarding trip. She sent me several pictures throughout the day and assured me he was settling in. Very communicative and kept me up to date! All three of the fur babies will be staying with them again soon!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Jody! She was amazing and provided reliable care! She took care of Daisy as if she were her own. We highly recommend her; even though we booked the same day with very late notice, she was incredibly communicative and sent us frequent updates and photos. We couldn't be happier! ❤️🐾”

As of September 2026, there are 669 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Bandera Falls. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Bandera Falls commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
